She was very accommodating with scheduling too! After evaluation, she diagnosed my baby girl with lip tie and possibly a tounge tie. She showed me some exercises I can do daily to help with her oral functions and body tension. Shes suggested some dentists that shes seen procedure success in. She advised that its up to me if I want to do the lip tie procedure, and that oral exercises will need to be done after procedure so getting her use to exercises is important. And sometimes the exercises can significantly improve without needing the procedure. Shes also suggested nipple types I can try to help her latch better. Overall, after 3 sessions, baby girl has minimal clicking, better latch and slightly stronger tounge. Im still on the fence with the procedure, i know sooner the better, but if she continues to improve, I may forgo the procedure. Let's hope her 4 month regression does not undo all our hard work. I will revisit Stacy when baby girl starts solids.

Stacy helped us with exercises for my baby's mouth and overall body to help with tummy time! My little one has had an easier time to feed and I can see that the knowledge and education Stacy provided really helped my baby girl grow more strength with her neck. She provides at home or in office appointments and both has worked well so far for my baby. Really love Stacy's flexibility as well and how well she works with my baby!

I found Labor of Love by doing some of my own research online. And thank God I did! My doula,…read moreKaren, was my rock throughout my labor and was 100,000 percent amazing--I'll definitely be working with her for my second! A little backstory: I was overwhelmed and so nervous about finding "the one" person to be a part of the most important event of my life. After doing my research and reading through all these bios, I honestly was left feeling overwhelmed, especially knowing how indecisive I can be. I knew I just had to trust my intuition and my gut on this one! After looking at Karen's bio on their website, I had such a good feeling. Staci (the owner), who was super friendly and professional, helped me get connected with Karen, and I booked an interview right away! Karen was so sweet and asked me about my pregnancy experience so far. We discussed how I wanted my birth to go and any concerns I had. There wasn't any pressure to hire her, and it just felt like she was already invested in me, like I was already family. I even had her video chat with my husband to make sure we both felt comfortable and vibed well together--and we sure did! Overall, Karen ended up being the perfect balance of knowledge, experience, and professionalism. It was the most perfect amount of care I could have asked for. She was also such an advocate for my birth plan to work out. Before, during, and after my labor and birth, she was always naturally in tune with what I needed. She was never overbearing, worked so well with my husband, and gave him space to be a part of my support team as well. I am so grateful to have come across Labor of Love

My experience with Labor of Love was almost two years ago now but continues to upset me when thinking back on my experience. We hired Lauren as our doula, who made it clear she expected us to go far past my due date as a first time mom. While it's possible for that to happen, it didn't in my case. At 39 weeks and at 5am while in active labor and getting ready to head to the hospital, she let us know she had Covid. Her backup was Karen, who I wish we hired to begin with as she is far more caring and professional. Though unfortunately our experience still fell short and we ultimately delivered without Karen present. We were left feeling like we invested a lot of emotion and money into this process with ultimately no help. Staci has been incredibly rude to us since then and even revoked our access to watch her training videos, sending me a link to pay her once again when wanting to rewatch for our now second baby on the way. Karen herself even recommended we ask for a partial refund due to our experience, but Staci lacks the professionalism and courtesy to her clients. Truly mindblowing that she revoked access to the training videos after we had already paid for them. I would stay far away and recommend a more experienced and caring doula group.

I signed up for the Newborn Class and it gave me the chance to connect with other moms who have babies around the same age, which made such a difference in feeling less alone during those early months. It also really helped me get out of the house during those tough newborn trenches and feel more comfortable and confident driving around with my baby. It truly feels like a judgment-free zone where everyone is going through the same stage and genuinely understands what you're experiencing. The staff is amazing, and you can really tell they care. Vanessa, the instructor for the newborn class, and Megan, the Program Manager, were especially wonderful--so kind, patient, and incredibly supportive. They both created a comfortable space where no question felt silly, and their encouragement and support helped build my confidence as a new mom. By the end of the class, my baby and Vanessa were basically best friends--she helped me so many times when my baby was fussy and would even keep an eye on her if I needed a quick restroom break, which meant so much to me. I'm so grateful I found New Mom School and definitely recommend the classes to any new moms looking for guidance and a sense of community!

Linda was able to come out asap and she very much helped me! We realized he did better on a nipple shield and have been using one the last two weeks. So I get 11 sessions through Kaiser, which has been wonderful! So Linda comes to my house once or twice a week to help me in my recovery and breast-feeding journey. It has been really nice to have the support and the help. She's really been great! We will be working on getting him off the nipple sheilds, hopefully in the next few weeks. But having the help at home has really been great as well as the lactation support. I would definitely recommend calling her and seeing if you were insurance will cover visits from her. I found Natal through my insurance, and we connected right away. She came to my home for a visit and immediately addressed the issues I was experiencing. We worked together for several weeks until I felt confident that my daughter was latching correctly. She also helped me learn how to effectively use my pump while nursing. I just had my second daughter recently and I didn't think I would need a lactation consultant since I had been through this before. However, my second daughter had a shallow latch, and I knew I needed to contact Natal right away. I was so glad to reconnect with her. I reached out on a Friday, and she came to my home first thing Saturday morning. She made me feel comfortable immediately and reminded me that every baby is different and comes with their own challenges. Natal now has an office as well, so I went there for follow-up visits. This time around, I didn't need to see her as often since I felt more confident, and we were able to quickly identify and correct the issue. At our first appointment, she was not only so patient and gentle with my baby, she was knowledgeable and informative with me. Breastfeeding is something I really want to accomplish, but before Natal, I'd honestly given up. The lactation consultants at the hospital were so dismissive of me, as I have larger breasts. Baby had a difficult time latching. They kept pushing me to the bottle route, and honestly, I was close to giving up on my breastfeeding journey. However, now with Natal's guidance, I am more motivated than ever before. She takes insurance and has a reasonable travel fee if you'd like a home visit. As new moms, you know you're on baby's time... not ours. So her providing the option for house visits is a game changer!!! Baby and I thank you!!!

I wanted something different and more personal this time around, something more focused on relationships that were authentic and real. I don't want the makeup and show that some moms put on - I wanted people who would keep it real, and Ashley did a great job of fostering this kind of environment. I also really enjoyed the speakers that Ashley brought in. Even though this wasn't my first time around the baby block, I still learned things every week. I would strongly recommend this group to anyone with a baby or a toddler.

They are very accommodating and offer a wide range of massage services, ranging from facials, foot massages, body massages (Thai, Swedish, combination, sports therapy). The forms we had to fill out asked us to circle what our problem areas were on our body, and they really did focus on this on the massage. They also asked if there were any parts of our body that we didn't want them to touch (e.g. head, face, etc) We got a 60 minute combination massage and they started by bringing us to this small room on the left for a foot bath. They then gave us slippers and walked us over to our room. The couples room was basically two rooms separated by an open door, but they were pretty spacious and well put together. The massage was great and they were nice to ask during the massage if we needed any pressure adjustments. The instrumental piano music they played was also calming and added to the ambience. I would definitely come back! They're currently offering 15% off all services right now too!
