I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience…read more During my last visit, the physician did not perform an eye examination. A technician performed retinal imaging and a vision test and told me there were no changes from my previous visit, when I had been examined by a reputable retina specialist who no longer works at this practice. I was not examined by the physician, Dr. Benjamin, who was on site that day. Afterward, I obtained my medical record and found multiple diagnoses that are incorrect and would require an eye examination to diagnose. The chart also documented symptoms and conditions that I did not have. What alarmed me most was that I was provided with a tear duct scan that did not belong to me. The scan was timestamped after I had already left the office, and the patient's name appeared to be handwritten rather than printed by the imaging system. This raised serious concerns for me about the practice's recordkeeping, patient privacy, and the accuracy of my own medical record. The practice also refuses to produce the native imaging with patient PII embedded in the images.

After learning about lens replacement surgery in 2024, I sought several consultations. From the moment I met Dr. Jafri, I felt completely at ease. She was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain my options and potential outcomes. I knew immediately that I was in extremely capable hands. Given my vision challenges, our goal was simply to improve my eyesight, with the possibility of needing LASIK touch-ups later. However, the results of the surgery and lens correction far exceeded our expectations--I now have 20/20 vision. Dr. Jafri supported me every step of the process. The surgery at UCLA Stein Eye Institute was a very comfortable experience, and any follow-up touch-up procedures were performed at Dr. Jafri's office, where I always felt welcomed and well cared for. For anyone considering vision correction, I cannot recommend Dr. Jafri highly enough. She is truly the best.

## Review for Dr. Nicole Fram **Rating: **…read moreIt is rare to find a medical practice that operates with the precision of a high-performance team while maintaining a deeply personal touch, but Dr. Nicole Fram has achieved exactly that with Advanced Vision Care. I was apprehensive about doing the surgery so I did many hours of research and had consultations with other highly reputable surgeons. But I found that none of them came close to Dr. Devgan in terms in knowledge and experience. After all, he is The Cataract Coach and has performed over 40,000 surgeries, including many for other ophthalmologists. Plus he spent a great deal of time during my consultation reviewing my images taken in his office, discussing lens options, explaining the surgery process, and patiently answering my many questions. Dr. Devgan loves what he does and his passion is evident when you meet with him. Additionally, everyone on his staff is very pleasant and professional. And Dr. Devgan gives his patients his email and cell number so we can contact him with any questions. I texted him on three occasions and he responded immediately! And in each case, he gave me very thorough answers to my questions. It was very comforting to know that he was always just a text away. I don't know of any other doctor who is so available to their patients. Dr Devgan recommended the Alcon Vivity in both eyes for me and my surgeries went well with no issues. They were both quick and painless and everything went smoothly at the Surgical Center. He came over and talked to me before I went into the operating room which I appreciated. I am very happy with the results. I requested the focus be set at near/intermediate, and I was OK wearing glasses for distance. I use a mild reader for fine print, my intermediate is perfect, and my distance is better than I expected. I can drive in the daytime without glasses, so I just I need them for driving at night. And there is very minimal halos and glare at night; much less than before surgery. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Devgan as my surgeon. I will not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family because I know they will be in excellent and very skilled hands!

Fine, my issue was watery eyes not catracts. Upon arrival I was sent in to meet with, not the docotr, but a series of technicians who stumbled thru using various gadgets that did or did not work properly. I mentioned to one that I was just here for watery eyes and she told me that liquid tears would help but get the one without preservatives. After about 45 minutes of various tests, which included dilating my eyes, which I was not told about ahead of time, a young, pretty doctor walked in, did a 3-4 minute exam and then declared, "Oh, good news! You don't have cataracts!" I explained that I didn;t come here for that, but rather for watery eyes, and she said "Oh, just get some liquid tears!" I asked how long I'd have to wait to drive home with my eyes dilated and she said "Oh 3-4 hours." When I began to object, she said "Oh we can do reversal drops!" and then walked out and did not return until I demanded that I get these magical reversal drops. They finally found another doctor who applied these reversal drops and I asked how long I'd have to wait and was told "About 1-2 hours." So after 2 hours, with my eyes still feeling dilated and a $50 parking bill looming, -- this is Centruy City -- I just left. I ended up paying a lot of money for being told the same thing about liquid tears I could have found on Google, almost got into an accident on the way home, and was out $50 for parking. A complete waste of half a day, my nerves shot, and frustrated as hell. I'll obviously never go here again, even if I do need cataract surgery, I have no idea whether Dr Fram is as good as they say, but clearly everyone else in her office is sorely lacking, mostly in their ability to stop and listen to what patientss need.

Another surgeon had gone rogue and what was meant to be a relatively simple procedure left me harmed. Dr Roya inherited me at my worst. When we first met she was open, warm and empathetic. Dr Roya actually CARES for her patients, she's not on social media making marketing videos every day, because for her it's not about the volume of patients she can service, but how well she can service her patients individually. Needless to say, as far as the procedure went I couldn't have been in better hands. Dr Roya has a gift, her talent is beyond measure, and she is pure of heart.
