I've had Krispy before and rated them a 5. This time was a bust. The pizza slices were ice cold. They were not even heated! A shame for such good pizza. The dinners were just ok. Maybe it was my menu choice but I was disappointed. I like well done pizza but not shrimp. It was deflated and over fried. Oh well. ugh idk...

This is the biggest pizza I've ever had. I ordered it delivery and it arrived earlier than I requested, still hot. The restaurant called to let me know it'd arrive early and to tell me once it arrived at my hotel which was nice. The ingredients taste quality, not super greasy, very cheesy. Great pizza.

Place is bonkers and well known for a reason. You typically see their tri color slice blasted over IG but that isn't even close to their top slice The best slice of theirs and without a doubt the best speciality slice of pizza I've ever had is they Hot Roni with pesto. Mike's hot honey goes a long way and they show you They use the little roni cups for their pizza AS EVERY pizza shop should. Great sign right there. Crust on all slices is... krispy. I even ask the dude whenever I go to make it extra krispy and he always does. He's also super cool and huge ball buster Storefront is on Rutger's campus. Inside it's a nicer college campus style pizza shop but still get the New York vibes

TLDR: Solid pizzas with a variety of fun options. Some of the pizzas are crispy, but they all have a rock hard crust. The pizzas are mostly tasty, and I enjoy the variety of options like the Krispy special or penne vodka pies. The pies are relatively thin and have an enjoyable bite (either crispy or chewy depending on the pie you pick). The crust of each slice is rock hard and not great to eat.

This is what you get when you order the chicken wrap Dry overcooked burned chicken with a side of old hard fries.

I cant believe this place Before the pandemic i would eat here atleast 4 days a week faithfully I decided to give this place another try after years to see if they got it together because they have been onna downhill streak I couldnt be right The food is no good Like at all The chicken gets overcooked The fries are cheap garbage they get hard and change color while you eat them The food is no longer any good but thanks to all the drunk rutgers kids Theyll always keep this place afloat Dont waste your time looking for parking or money here

Rutgers students rejoice, for you are really lucky to have such a reliable and resounding pizza joint in Krispy Pizza. This is a pizza joint that is reluctant to resonate in all the glory, but rather retake the field in revolutionary and reckless fashion. For your realistic expectations, you must relate to every room that romps their way to chomp on this New York style slice into rambunctious ravenousness. This rare breed of a rags to riches story from Brooklyn, brings no rest for the weary. It resists the urge to be a college pizza, but something bigger and better, roaring back to a time when pizza ruled supreme over ramen and rice. Krispy reaches higher, and rises to the occasion respectfully and ruthlessly without any regard for its competition. This is a pizza that reigns in a solid slice with consistent regularity. By no request, this pizza deserves religious fervor in deciding nothing but a positive review. I have researched many pizzerias in the past year, and regard this one as a pretty good one. With that, I highly recommend.

    Sicilian pizza with three sauces

Had a couple of their three sauce slices - marinara, pesto, and vodka - fantastic. Service was quick and ambiance pretty standard for a pizza joint. Would recommend.

Not crispy but definitely tasty pizza. Got a few pies for takeout from here tonight, a half pepperoni half plain and a fat Krispy pizza. Ordered this on the app and picked it up 20 mins later, it was done when I walked in, didn't have to wait. It was a 20 minute ride to home where I was going to indulge in this awesome pizza. Got home and noticed that the cheese on the half pepperoni had moved a little bit (all good!). The fat Krispy was awesome, the "special" sauce tasted like thousand island or Russian dressing drizzled over a fries, mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers (definitely a nod to the fat sandwiches once offered at the trucks that used to occupy the space years ago). Definitely a solid offering and brings back memories of fat sandwiches I used to eat years ago! Overall, the pizza was good, the fat Krispy was excellent, however, the pizza didn't live up to the "Krispy" in the name, it wasn't crispy! Could've been because of the 20 min ride home in the box, definitely worth another try to see if it truly is crispy right out of the oven.

Pizza is my favorite hot food so I'm excited that this spot is on College Ave. they had a wide variety of pizza and they also make other foods (haven't tried them yet, just the pepperoni roll). The pizza has a good crust on it. It's the closest you're getting to a NY slice in the area. On this particular day I grabbed some plain slices but the margarita pizza and pepperoni are also really good. It's a little greasy so I let it drain a bit before enjoying. The service has greatly improved since its opening, making it a better experience to pop in and grab a slice. They are also pretty good on delivery when we ordered several pies.

This is the screenshot saying that my order was ready for pickup.

I've been a Krispy Pizza Customer for over 3 years, and after today's experience I will no longer order from them. I walked into this location and as soon as I walk in, one of the employees is on the phone at the front counter, joking and trying to make an appointment with his barber. He's on the phone for at least 30 seconds before he even acknowledges me. I notice that there are only 2 stale pies at the counter. Once he gets off the phone, I walk up to him and tell him my order number and name, thinking that my pizza might just be under the counter or in the back, because I did not see it where they normally hold pick up orders. He immediately says, "Yeah, we don't have either of those slices." I placed my order 20 minutes before I went to go and pick it up, and not at any point did they call me to tell me that they didn't have any of those pizzas. Normally, they call and tell me if they don't have one of the slices that I've ordered, and I'm able to choose from other slices that they have available. But instead of calling me to tell me that they don't have my order, I walk into this location and see this guy on a personal phone call. He was very nice, but he tried to offer me the stale grandma, plain and margherita slices. I told him that I just wanted to cancel my order at that point and he was understanding and actually very nice. However, this other employee walked out from the back room, and is digging into his nose with a tissue for about a minute. They both don't have masks on, and I already knew that I did not want to eat anything from this location after seeing that. The employee who came out of the back, looked at the order and said to the other employee (who I first spoke to), you saw that this order was placed at 7:04, and didn't call to say that we didn't have these slices? The guy shrugged and didn't say anything. The employee from the back then turned to me, while still playing with his nose, and asked me if I didn't want the stale slices, in exchange for the premium slices that I paid for. I said no, and he said that he'd make a whole pie of one of the slices that I ordered and give me a slice from it. He never asked me which slice I preferred, because I ordered two different slices. He murmured that he'd make the easier pie. It may be the easiest, but it wasn't the slice that I favored, and he did not even care to ask me what I wanted. I simply just wanted to cancel my order, there's no harm in that because it wasn't there, and they wouldn't have to be forced to do extra work. I had no problem up until that point, I just wanted to leave and go back home. And I said, "No that's fine." His response was, "Why?! You can't wait 12 minutes??" No. I did not what to wait another 12 minutes. If I wanted to wait, I never would've placed my order online, I would've just gone in and placed my order. I'm not sure if he made an assumption and thought that I was a college student and deserved less respect. But I have other things to do with my time, it's not like I walked down the street or came down from my dorm to pick up this order. And even then that is ridiculous, any customer deserves the same respect. So no, I'm not waiting an extra 12 minutes. I already DROVE 20 minutes out of my way for this non existent order. I was very respectful the entire time, and I was adamant about not wanting the order anymore. And they just kept fighting me and wanted me to accept anything from them. If I want to cancel my order, just let me cancel it. I never would've written this review if the 2nd employee wasn't being rude to me. I said nothing about them not wearing masks, because it's their choice and I can not force them to wear one. But I also have a right to not want to eat anything from them. They voided they order and refunded me my money before I left. But the guy who came out of the back seemed to have an attitude the entire time. It was an unpleasant experience, and I won't be visiting this location again, even though it is the closest to my house. I'd rather drive 40 minutes out of my way to go to the Old Bridge or Jersey City locations, because there's always a problem at this location.
