Hard not to love a place that specializes in somehow making carbohydrates even more delicious! Despite our efforts to be relatively low carb, every once in a while the two little dudes are in the mood for something with lots of sugar and frosting that makes it look like a baseball or football. Luckily, Krispy Kreme has that as well as about 200 other options! This place can be seen from the main street down near the mall, but the entrance is on the backside, over by Cabela's. The place has tons of windows, tons of options for your carbing pleasure and the people who work here are uniformly friendly. They continue to make the original glazed donuts at a staggering rate and are more than happy to offer you a fresh, warm one with a glaze that has been applied so recently that it basically solidifies to your fingers. That in addition to all the other options make it hard not to enjoy a spot like this. I've never gotten a soft donut from the yakima store ever. I've had Krispy Kreme in other towns and they're not rock hard and old tasting . Not sure what the deal is with the Yakima store but it sucks. I've gone quite a few times to keep giving it another chance and just waste my money each time, they've never been good. read more

Had a craving for donuts and decided on Krispy Kreme since usually Krispy Kreme never disappoints but today it was the worst experience ever. Ordered a random dozen and the selection they chose was very unappealing...accepted that but when I bit into the donut I chose sure tasted like a 3-day old stale donut. What a waste. Not sure what happened here but WOW I surely hope it's just an off day, as this experience really made me rethink Krispy Kreme. read more

They don't make them in the store. The machine is never on and neither is the sign. Just like the rest of the franchise places in Yakima, WA once the place is open about a year the quality is gone!! Last 2 times I've been there (yes I'm still going) the donuts are stale. It seems like they make them somewhere else and bring them to Yakima the next day. Sent an email to the corporate office today. You need to either fix it or close them down. They are destroying your good name!! read more

A few years back I had heard rumors that Yakima was getting a Krispy Kreme. I'll be honest, I had no idea why this was a big deal. I grew up in the Midwest where Daylight and Dunkin reigned as the donut kings. Krispy has something that the other places don't have. They've got an assembly pumping out donut for all to see behind glass. Krispy is a business that does more than pop out a few donuts for the breakfast groups or business meetings, Krispy is busy with all of that plus funding events. They need to mass produce their delicacy. The key to being able to mass produce an item... many items of different shapes, colors, and flavors is is understood by the folks at Krispy Kreme. During this stop at Krispy, I devoured a Carmel Kreme Crunch. A pastry with a carmel cream center, glazed with carmel, and topped with walnuts. I've been going to this Krispy Kreme for years but recently I've noticed that on the speciality doughnuts that I order, namely the oreo and the cake batter, they have been giving increasing less and less filling. The last oreo doughnut I bought I ate the entire thing and I never found the filling, the hole was there where they would have inserted it, but it must have been such a small amount that I completely missed it. Why would I want to pay more for a doughnut that has less in it? (specialty doughnuts cost more than regular filled) Other than that the service was prompt and polite, and the other doughnuts I got (original glazed, marble bar, chocolate sprinkles) were delicious. It's just a bummer that my favorite donut (the oreo) is getting steadily worse every time I go there. I know skrinkflation is real but I wasn't expecting it in my donut filling. read more

While I do Love Krispy Kreme Donuts this location is a Black spot on their reputation. As a constant they don't turn on fresh donut sign and do Not unless specifically asked give free hot donut or acknowledge specials. Not what Anyone would expect from Krispy Kreme anywhere else. Went at 7:30 am to get glazed donuts and they didn't have any! A donut shop really needs to have donuts and I was told to come back in 30 minutes. I had work right after so I didn't have enough time to do so. Very poor preparation and service. read more

Awful. Very limited selection and none of the limited time donuts(which are supposed to be everywhere). Still waiting on a refund for an online order I made, after which I received no donuts I ordered because they were out of stock. I found out after I arrived to pick them up and once the employee informed me they just walked away without offering a substitute or refund. read more

This past week I was responsible for bringing 3 dozen donuts to an event. So, I called Krispy Kreme 10 times within a 2 hour period to order ahead so they would have them ready. They did not answer the phone one single time. I then decided to just drive across town to order at the shop. When I arrived, there were 3 people in front of me who had not been helped yet, despite there being multiple workers in the shop. We all stood there for over 5 minutes until someone finally came to help.(and they had all been there before me, so who knows how long they were waiting!). After waiting my turn I tried to order 3 dozen original glazed donuts and.... THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY. Now normally, I wouldn't be too irritated about this because sometimes things just don't work out, but the fact that I had called them multiple times and they couldn't bother to answer the phone is simply ridiculous. They wasted my time and made an event donutless which is truly devasting. read more

They had no chocolate donuts on the nationally advertised Friday. I was there at 9am. None would be available until 12pm. There were no replacement to be given. Three sets of people left at the same time. At least 6 dozen donut sales walked out empty handed. That is poor business practice. I will not fall for this again. read more

I think I'm giving up. Every time I go to this Krispy Kreme location and try to order anything, it is not available. As a matter fact, I don't think they have a full menu offering until 11:00 or later. Today will probably be the last time I attempted to get service at this location. I would usually go in right around 9 and select one item off the menu. No matter what that item was it was not ready yet. So throw out two or three more options and very rarely were any of those other options available either. At 9 in the morning? They have the best donuts in town!!! This place is great to hang out and eat donuts with anybody your meeting with, my only problem with it is the lack of staff, there's usually at least three staff when I go there, but their pretty chill otherwise, I recommend it. read more
