Since this location opened. Some how today was my first time visiting. It was really nice out, so I went for a walk after having some food at Applebee's. Upon walking in the store is bright and very welcoming inside. Cheerful and pretty clean as well. I was there to get some limited edition and seasonal donuts. Nice cashier, very friendly. The staffs at this location are friendly. There are a few table tables for sitting. There's a dough machine but too bad it wasn't on went I was there. The donuts are fresh. I was disappointed that not all donuts are sprinkled evenly. I got a strawberry donut with sprinkles but it barely has any sprinkles. read more

I placed an online order for pickup, spoke to the people in the shop afterwards, showed up for my pickup time and they had randomly closed with a sign they'd be open again in an hour. Couldn't get my order and showed up empty handed to an event. read more

Place is clean and workers are nice. Sadly, that's where it begins and ends. Donuts are great when you can get them. Place isn't run right by the higher up's. The old pictures from a year and two years ago are not how it is now. The case never looks full like that. This location never has all of the regular selection of donuts. They pick and choose what they want to make daily. When it's specialty donuts time, forget it. They don't even make all of those, but what they choose to make will be what's there. Trying to force certain donuts for profit margins and it's obvious. It can't be only when I go this happens, no one else speaks up and accepts mediocrity. First of all the wait in the drive thru was sooooo long with only 2 cars in front of us. Then we get to the window and the girl says "you placed an order?" "Yes, 3 donuts", the drive thru gets a 2. The chocolate glazed donut was stale- it gets a 2, the regular glazed and raspberry filled jelly both get 4's. For the price they are charging you'd think they could get it together. read more

If I could give negative stars it will be a negative 100 stars. First the Doughnuts tasted like they were made in the sewer by penny wise. Second I was charged for a medium drink when the lady made it a small. She insisted was a medium. I'm not here to make fun of people but she had to be born without eyes. The slytherin doughnut looks like a toddler made it as well as they had no more potter doughnuts left the lady said as I saw with my own eyes something that she doesn't have the man making them. Visited on a Sunday. Ordered half a dozen. Can never go wrong with the donuts. They're always delicious no matter the location. Ordered a coffee though and it was gross. Tasted like the dregs at the bottom of the pot -ended up having to throw it away. Went through drive thru. Convenient. Workers were quick and polite. I have to admit I am not the biggest fan of the texture of Krispy Kreme donuts. The Krispy Kreme donuts are chewier and have a more dough like texture. I prefer the flakey fluffy Dunkin' Donuts, BUT when they opened a Krispy Kreme on Staten Island I had to try it. The donuts are very fresh, very sweet and may have caused some cavities. Overall, I would get this as a occasional treat but will stick to my usual Dunkin. My boyfriend loves these though so I will continue to be a customer to fulfill his sweet tooth! read more

I was so excited to see that they opened a Krispy Kreme here. The cashier was so friendly, the inside so big and spacious, and they even have the conveyor belt where you can see the donuts being frosted in a line. Everything seemed fine and dandy, but the donuts I picked up were stale. Almost rock hard and even tasted stale. ALL THREE OF THEM, different donuts! I was so disappointed as this has never happened at any other Krispy Kreme I've gone before. There was so much staff, but no quality control and selling old, stale donuts. I mean what's not to love! Especially when they are hot! I was so happy to find out a location was opening in SI and even more excited that there's a drive thru! I knew opening week would be crazy but I finally made it a few days after opening. They were offering a free donut until the 27th with no purchase anytime the hot light was on which I thought was really cool. I wanted the full experience so I made the line outside instead of the drive thru. Both seemed long but the weather was nice so I chose the standing line. It went by in about 20 minutes which wasn't too bad, everyone was excited and asking if it was worth the line. Once inside you can see the excitement and everyone picking out their donuts. They have an open kitchen style which is super cool because you can watch the donuts being made. Love that! I opted for a classic glazed dozen and was not disappointed, they were super warm and dreamy. read more

Tried Krispy Kreme for the first time today. It was...OK. All the novelty donuts (literally the whole reason anyone would go to Krispy Kreme) were all unavailable, and some regular menu items were also unavailable. The donuts we did get were nothing above anything you can get at Dunkin. At least that place regularly replenishes its entire menu. The staff was very nice and the service was quick, which was good at least. Honestly, it's a good donut shop, but unless they keep their specialty selection available, they have no real leg up on the other donut shops. It was good, just not great. Been there twice already but this store needs to get it together a little better. First off yea the donuts are ok and yea there are other places out there to get donuts. It's all up to the individuals taste. Now the store first of all when you go inside the music they are playing not only bad but very loud on top of all the employees working and talking taking orders. Next is the pricing of the donuts. A dozen original glazed is 14.49 a dozen classic assorted is 16.49. The pricing is a little confusing because I noticed my bill was 18.49 and all I can think of is that it was because I also picked two cake batter donuts. You should at least be told that a particular donut is not included in that and the charge will be more. I have the receipt to show this. Not happy at all with this. I guess many people don't pay attention to their bill. The menu should be clear on the prices. So at those prices I rather go to the local bakery. You can even buy a great cake for just about the same cost. The parking lot is a joke. They have so many lanes closed in anticipation of a large crowd making it a job if your not going to go to the drive up window and just want to go into the store. when you finally get to the store they have three rows of parking spaces block so you have to park a distance away and what's worst is you cannot access the handicap parking spaces either. That whole parking and drive thru needs to be improved. As for me I'm staying away till that gets better and I can park in front of the store. I really loved these donuts when I purchased them in Manhattan, so I was looking forward to them when they opened in Staten Island. They were not as I remembered them, and I found the icing on the glazed donuts way too sweet. Terrible service do not come here. There are about 10 employees who all just stand around and gossip while there are 45 minute waits. They spray cleaner on the table right behind you as you sit and enjoy your food so you get to enjoy the smell of orange and bleach. My daughter asked me to take her there she loves their donuts and also being today is her birthday she said they give you a free dozen donuts. She was googling the places that give out free stuff on birthdays and said you only need an ID when we got there the teen behind the register just wanted to confirm that with his manager he went in the back and the manager said we have to have the app so we said OK no problem. We will download it now. He said no you have to do it before hand I said nowhere Did it say anything regarding an app It just said bring ID so she had her passport being she is a minor. He went back and asked the manager again. He said no sorry come back next birthday. It is not the point of the free donuts because it's not about the money it's about the point that this is something that they advertise and they could have even given her one donut I'm sure at the end of the day there are tons of donuts that they throw out but could not even honor a child's birthday I don't care how good your donuts are.
