    Receipt. 3 dozen

In town for work and I decided to take a few dozen donuts to customers. I went about 5:30 and unfortunately missed the "HOT & NOW" glazed donuts; IYKYK. The one thing that shocked me was how much the prices have climbed (see receipt). I want to give a shout out to Lily , that was working the counter. She was pleasant & patient, didn't rush me through my variety selection

Your standard Krispy Kreme donuts. Nothing special, but always delicious. I think the prices are always a little expensive, but doesn't keep me from coming back.

    Damaged chocolate glazed donuts.

Not sure why but for whatever reason the girl behind the counter decided to give us all the misfit donuts. One had a portion of it missing (I thought it had a bite out of it but after looking closer it was pinched off somehow). Also the chocolate glazed donuts were bumped, scratched or poked. There was plenty to chose from and no reason to offload them all on us. Next time I will inspect them all before leaving (assuming we ever go back to this location).

Too bad they don't have enough 'Green Doughnuts ' @ 3:00 pm on St. Patrick's day. SHAME!!! Update: they have green doughnut this year(2017) for two days! Fri & Sat. Thanks. Great!!! Updating to five stars from four. Always fresh always delish... try it without glaze if you have diabitis, they will pull it off the line before sugar coating for you if they are on conveyor. .

We were literally blown away by our experience cruising through in a hurry before church on Sunday. From the moment we walked in, until the moment we left, everything was perfect. Excellent, excellent service at the front counter, attentive & friendly. Our 5 little girls needed to go potty and wash up before we left. The bathrooms, floors, lobby, VERY clean. I literally asked for the manager which came out from behind the counter working. I thanked her & explained from our side how everything looked & seemed & that we really appreciated such a great experience. She was warm & friendly & thanked us for the feed back.

Closed at 10pm. First one I have ever been to in the country that was not open until at least midnight. It's a donut shop for pete's sake!

Cafe Racer is clearly a breakfast institution in Athens, especially among University of Georgia…read morestudents. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious this place has built a loyal following. The setup is simple: place your order, grab a seat, and enjoy. What made me laugh was that many of the "tables" are surrounded by lawn chairs. It's not what I expected, but somehow it fits the laid-back personality of the place perfectly. There are a few traditional tables available, but the lawn-chair seating adds to the charm. I ordered the "My Pleasure" biscuit, which comes with fried chicken, egg, and cheese. The chicken was flavorful, and the sandwich was very tasty overall. The chicken was a little dry when combined with the biscuit, but not enough to keep me from enjoying it. It was still a satisfying breakfast and easy to see why it's a popular menu item. If you're looking for a quick, casual, and uniquely Athens breakfast experience, Cafe Racer is worth a stop. Good food, reasonable prices, and enough personality to make the meal memorable.

It was good, mostly for the tangy avocado sauce upon it. Second, the tater taco, it was just too much potato and not much else. Ratio was off. Third, and I saved best for last: Pickleback. OMG. YALL. This crazy taco was insanely good. It was "mustard sausage" with a "breakfast sauce" and some dill pickles. When I say it was good... wuh. I'm a foodie, and I was blown away. So tangy, juicy and FULL of flavor. Perfect blend of fatty sausage, mustard, sweet sauce and tangy pickles. I can't say enough about it. They really hit it outta the park. The coffee was good. We will be back, if only for that savage lil taco. Yes, service was polite and efficient. Despite a double line of cars that would make Chik-fil-A jealous. We went to the window and they had old timey style beach chairs. Wife and daughter didn't want to eat there, so back to the Air-B-n-B.

I feel gross and it was such a let down. If y'all know me, you know I'm big on being greeted within the first few seconds of walking into an establishment. The gal didn't say anything to me, just stood at the register waiting for me to order. I asked her what she would recommended between the pork belly bowl or the curry chicken noodle soup and she just said it just depends on if I wanted noodles or rice.. that should Have been my first clue. I hate leaving bad reviews... but this is not my first visit here. The first time I ordered the dumplings with chili sauce, and the older lady was super sweet and it was super delicious. My only qualms were how FILTHY the trash can was and how empty the place was... I was the only customer. It was the same this go around too... no customers, and the trash can was STILL FILTHY!! (And I know they're not busy enough to not get up off their butts and clean!!!) I digress.... The reason I feel grossed out is because the fried egg was barely fried, and there was no seasoning or pizazz to it at all... just a sunny side up on rice and pork belly. The pork belly itself was not fresh. It must have been cooked either earlier in the day or a few days before. I know this because of how the fat in the pork belly tasted. It wasn't cooked well either... there was no crisp to the top part whatsoever and the fatty part.... Well that was the grossest part. It was that gummy slimy texture and that is anything but pleasant. I'm really hoping this place turns itself around.. because I do dig the vibe, but they need to get un lazy and start caring a little more. And I'm not seeing their vision... are they a donut shop.... Hot dog shop... or Asian food...??? I think they would attract more business with a more definitive theme. Like I said, I hate leaving poor reviews, but I'm doing so in hopes they see it. (Oh ya, because calling with a critique is out of the question.... They don't answer their phone!! Tried calling to put in my order). Come Mochinut, do better!!! PLEASE!!!

I was not disappointed except that Chef V said she had to stop doing the Indonese chicken (look it up) and make everything white meat for the locals in Athens. I hope that changes. The soy ginger sauce was excellent. The curry chicken is a definite try for those who would like to sample something different and hot and tasty! In short: Try the spicy dumplings, the curry chicken and the soy sauce chicken dishes here and maybe have a nice pandam mochi donut at the end!
