Dr. Wes Sato to the rescue... again…read more Don't chomp on hard toffee! Yup, broke a tooth off! Dr. Sato wears a hero cape in my humble opinion. I called for an appointment the next day and the office was fantastic in squeezing me in to see Dr. Sato. Within a short time later, abracadabra, my tooth was fixed. Pain free and I was a happy camper. Thank you Dr. Wes Sato! I'll stay away from toffee for now.

When I went to get a check up, I did not have to wait long at all. The dental hygienist, Ashley approached me, led me to the exam room and started to do x-rays of my teeth. Afterwards, Ashley cleaned my teeth. The cleaning took the longest. Then I met Dr. Chow. He took a look at the x-rays and made sure I did not have any cavities. I mentioned that I felt some pain in my upper right teeth. He made sure to closely look at my row of teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Chow. He knows what he needs to do and quickly does it. He makes sure I understand what is happening. Located at the Landmark building, the 2, 13, 3, 9, and 4 buses go there. After the appointment, walk around the plaza. Come and get your teeth cleaned and examined. Dr. Chow is the best!

So had my emergency root canal done just not too long ago! Had my big girl panties on!!!! Okay I…read morereally don't have big girl panties ... Shhh It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be ... After the numbing took effect, the only pain I felt was in my jaw ... From the bite guard to keep my mouth open .... for 2 hours :( My cheek ended up becoming swollen. He said it's due to the fact that because we have so may blood vessels in our cheeks, the numbing needle may have punctured through one. Meh ... I didn't feel a thing, but looked like a chipmunk with one side of it's mouth filled with nuts. Dr. Zampetti did my root canal. And I gotta say, he's really professional. He stopped every so often to ask how I'm doing. And every time he had to drill, he'd tell me that I may or may not feel a weird feeling. That 'feeling' felt like chucks of teeth breaking off .. but not really. Even though I didn't feel anything, I kept asking myself when the hell are they going to be done!!!! My jaw hurt so much :( Thank gohd they took the bite guard out about 15 minutes before he was done. Anywho, after he gave me a script for antibiotics and painkillers. Ended up not really needing the pain killers. The numbness is gone now. The pain is like a dull pain ... I can handle that. I still got the swollen cheek, been alternating between hot and cold packs. It's going down slowly. I do have to go back in two weeks to get it crowned. At least it's not to dig in my tooth again. I can live with that. Dr. Zampetti called me around 7ish to see how things were. Like I was saying before ... not too many dentists do that with their patients. They take the extra step to make everyone feel comfortable. I am sticking with this office. And now, I will fall into a deep sleep coma ... I've had an exhausting day!!! :D

The office staff are very confused and do not seem to understand or know how to operate electronic technology. Not only did they mess up my records, but they kept calling me for scheduled follow up appointments, even after I cancelled all my appointments and asked them to inactivate my profile - TWICE. Wouln't want to risk getting any services here. The "office manager" was really rude as well.

And when I tried to reschedule they did everything to not schedule me in, first they tried pushing me 2 months out hoping I'd just say no, but when I accepted to their surprise, they quickly changed doctors to some other doctor I don't even know, then when I asked for Dr Ho, suddenly he became unavailable... it's just too obvious come on now.. On my first visit Dr Ho didn't even greet me or just say Hi. I was a business owner for 12 years and that's definitely not how I treated my clients. I'm not a number, I'm a human being who is reaching out to get help from a doctor who apparently won't even talk to you if you don't have your X rays done.. what is this a military boot camp come on? Saying hello only takes less than a minute and if it's not in your heart to give another human being just 1 minute of your time then I definitely think you shouldn't be working on my teeth. I feel this office prioritizes money & time over wanting to genuinely help people. So much for this referral, congratulations on you being the best dentist in town I'll look elsewhere.

But this review is for Dental Day, I have been going here for several years now, and I am constantly impressed with their level of service: they really go the extra mile, super nice and very professional. Example: a few days ago I went in for a replacement of an old filling. I have a high tolerance for the local anesthetic, so every time I hear the drill, I feel the drill. I discussed this with Dr. Nip and his assistant May Lin (sorry if misspelled!) in advance. Problem solved, Dr. Nip adjusted the number and composition of lidocaine injections and it worked perfectly. For the first time in my life I heard the drill, but didn't feel the drill lol. Joanie (sp sorry) at the front desk and DA Gee are also awesome! If you become a patient here you will not only receive great care, but continuity of care and service, and you'll get to know the wonderful friendly people who work here, something that is absent in the 7 day a week franchise dental clinics.
