My vehicle came from out of state, so I have no experience with the Carvana location here in…read moreAustin, TX (other than it being used as a waypoint to get the vehicle into Texas). The delivery guy was courteous and professional. All done in a matter of minutes. Carvana, company-wise, seems well run. Website design, online navigation, purchase process, loan processing, and home delivery went off without a hitch. I was skeptical of making a vehicle purchase solely online. That is a big financial commitment. Plus, being a used vehicle, I typically want to see first-hand that everything is as expected. Lastly, I enjoy grinding down car salesmen for every dollar and add-on :) That said, Carvana has the best quality (and quantity) photos I've seen, and an abundance of vehicle information. Their 3D interior/exterior photos put you in the driver's seat. So, I was not lacking for vehicle details. They called out some flaws (using that word lightly), such as driver's seat decolorization, that I do not see at all. That gives me the impression that they are very conservative with their assessments, which is good. As for price, although I was not happy about a nearly $2000 shipping charge, overall, the final bill was comparable to dealerships countrywide, and better than Kelley Blue Book (or similar). Anyhow, the shipping fee was typical for out-of-state dealerships too (assuming they were willing to ship, many do not because they can sell locally and/or do not want to deal with liability). Overall, I recommend and would buy from them again.

That was covered, but I still had to waste my time scheduling and meeting the repair person. A few days after pickup, I discover the driver's side back seat inside door latch doesn't work. If you are in the backseat, you can't get out. Under warranty, but still another waste of time for me. Today the electrical system is belly up and it won't start and I'm waiting on a tow truck. I've literally had this vehicle about two weeks. They did not check ANYTHING other than 'oh this 2023 still looks new stick it on the website'. Everything is on you and their return policy for you to play whack a mole and find all the things they didn't look for is only 7 days. STAY AWAY. UPDATE 8/11/2026 Carvana's contracted tow truck service told me he had all my info to give the Nissan service center. Instead he dumped my car at the dealership and told them I was on my way to fill out everything. I found out by calling this morning for a status check -- the tow truck guy didn't even give them my name or number. Carvana's response to getting a bad review is to have a bot tell me to call them and do more leg work and explaining - the definition of a policy of exhausting people by stonewalling and putting all the work on them. AGAIN STAY AWAY.

The recent cold has been shocking the spread of this crack, and with vehicles getting smarter and smarter these days, meaning a simple new windshield, requires camera recalibration to the glass being installed and what not. I called the Subaru dealership in Austin, since I wanted OEM parts, but since I was also going thru insurance with Geico, they said they wouldn't approve dealership prices with market rate payments associated to fixes of windshield repair. I found Pro Glass from local word of mouth, and they were so friendly, quick to get the invoice and claim thru to walk me thru the process of working with insurance and get me in the books with me explaining I wanted OEM glass installed since I imagine having the added extended warranty means I need to keep all the original pieces of my subaru if the eyesight or cameras start to fail later on. Amy and team were not only friendly, the quoted 2 hour wait since camera recalibration is included in the windshield repair, went by fast. I had access to WiFi to work out of their cozy waiting lobby area, paid my deductible and I was in and out before you knew it! All my stickers and toll tags were put back on and you'd never know this wasn't the original thing! Wizard windshield magic :) Thank you Pro Glass!!
