I love this theater so much…read more The seats are great. Food is good. Movie experience is the best. This time though, we had some issues. We got the dine-in seats. Fork and knife I think it's called. We were in the back row. Both of our seats didn't recline. I pressed the button and it didn't move at all. It was broken. My husband's chair was broken too. Disappointed there. Then there was the ticket fiasco. My husband and I got there early. Thankfully we did. We grabbed our back row seats and were excited for the movie. Some poor came over to us and told us we were in their seats. We showed them our tickets. They showed us their tickets. They both had the same row and seats. What the heck? We were confused. So they went back down and talked to AMC employees. Got their tickets fixed. A little later, another group came over to us and told us we were in their seats. Same issue again. They had 3 people though. Those 3 people, had to go to AMC staff also. My husband and I noticed other people in the theater having issues with their seats as well. Lots of unhappy customers with triple booked seats. Yikes. All bad. So between the triple booked seats and our recliner chairs not working, it wasn't the best experience. Also, the audio in our movie kept going out randomly. We were watching Mortal Kombat and it was intense fight scenes, then the sound would stop. That happened twice. We should have complained. The overall experience was unsatisfactory.

I decided to give the AMC DINE-IN Fullerton 20 a try on 02-08-2026 to watch Solo Mio. I like previews, wifey does not, so we got there in time to miss all of the previews. Stand in concession line. No complaints. Wait in line 10 minutes for the 1 person working concession? I remain unfazed; does not bug me at all. Nope, what AMC had to do to let me know I have been missing nothing all of the years I went to the Krikorian theaters is for me to finally arrive at the front of the line - and then to have someone that just bought their ticket walk to an adjacent and previously empty line, and have the 1 person working concession say, "Can I help the next VIP customer" (apparently there is some kind of a VIP line that trumps/bumps us mere peasants back in line). Elitism in a theater that shares a parking lot with a Costco feels a bit pretentious, but to each their own - I appreciated the loud and clear signal that AMC's are not my type of theater - I have good experiences at Krikorians and Regals.

When I checked the movie schedule online last night, I saw an 11:30 AM showtime, so we left early in the morning to make it on time. However, when we got there, we were told that the 11:30 AM showing did not have Korean subtitles. We had driven all the way there specifically so my mom could watch the movie with Korean subtitles, so we had no choice but to buy four tickets for the 1:15 PM showing, which did have Korean subtitles. While we were waiting, we bought nachos there, charged our cell phones, and relaxed for a while and had lunch in that mall. Being able to charge our phones was a huge plus. Also, one of the female employees, who was quite tall, was very kind and told us that there was a seating area toward the back of the theater. Thanks to her, we were able to sit there for a while, charge our phones, and eat our nachos. However, there were two women's restrooms inside the theater. One of them had no hand soap at all. I went and told the female employee, and she asked me, "There's no hand soap at all?" I said there was none at all. She then told me there was another women's restroom on the other side, so I went there, and that restroom did have soap. Before the movie started, I went back to the first restroom because it was closer to the theater, but even after more than two hours, there was still no hand soap at all. I was very disappointed, so I had to go to the restroom that was much farther away from the theater. Overall, this theater has a lot of good points. The staff is friendly, the seats are pretty comfortable, the theater is clean and pleasant, you can charge your cell phone, and parking is free. Also, for older people like my mom who want to enjoy the latest Hollywood movies with Korean subtitles, that is definitely the biggest advantage. However, I do have two suggestions: I hope they maintain the restrooms better. If there is no soap at all in the restroom, it does not seem right that no one refills it for more than two hours. I wish they would provide Korean subtitles for all showtimes. If that is not possible, I hope they clearly indicate on their website which showtimes have Korean subtitles and which ones do not. We came from far away, so it was very disappointing to find out that the 11:30 AM showing did not have Korean subtitles. Because of that, we ended up wasting two hours even though we had driven all the way there specifically for the Korean subtitles.

Went recently saw "No Other Choice" here because basically we literally had no other choice to see it anywhere else because it was at the end of its theater run. How appropriate! Free parking in the structure that is shared with The Source, which is a newish outdoor entertainment/shopping/dining center. It was easy to purchase tickets through their kiosk and a very friendly employee welcomed us and directed us to our theater. The seats are multi/colored and have seen better days. Comfortable yet worn. That's the only downside I must mention. Other than that, I enjoyed the independent theater vibes and feeling. Good sound, smallish screening rooms. Will be back!

I feel like they keep it simple, it's really just about enjoying a movie without a whole lot of fuss. And this Orange location was just that. My friend and I came here to watch one of their classic movie nights recently, and it was just great. Getting the movie tickets ahead of time on Cinemark's website made it pretty easy. We only had to show the digital ticket and we were in. The theater seats are leather and automated, so you can adjust the seat to recline, or not. They also have seat warmers. What? Awesome. Staff operated as normal like any other theater, nothing too crazy. There's plenty of parking near the front, or you can park at the further lot down. But if you come here for later showings, you may have to circle around for parking.

Not very comfortable. I also got bit by a mosquito or something, about halfway through the movie my ankle started itching like crazy. When I got home I had three bites! Tickets for the three of us cost just under $50 but it was recliner seating and we reserved our seats in advance. City parking is a premium, so we just pulled into the parking garage next door and found a spot pretty quickly. We walked right in and scanned our tickets from the phone app, spent another $35-40 on a large popcorn and two sodas, and found our seats. We sat a little higher than we would have liked (in the F row) but it was actually nice. We could still see just fine and we didn't feel like we were being blasted quite so much by the speakers. Going to the movies used to be an inexpensive source of entertainment, but like everything, prices are inflated and so we indulge less frequently but enjoy it when we do. 3.5 stars for pricing, but we knew what we were getting into. 5 stars for the experience.

Also nobody answers the phones at this location. I tried calling many times but nobody ever picked up. You will still see employees wandering around but don't expect them to answer the phone or you for any questions. Additionally if you want to buy any sold out merch, they will direct you to another wrong location that doesn't have it. And since none of the locations answer phones, you won't be able to call and verify and instead you'll waste your time going to another location believing the employee that the other location is stocked but will end up with nothing cause it's a lie and the employee just wasted your time. Just to go an AMC, I never had any of these issues with AMC. Regal isn't worth the effort.

Starlight West Grove Cinemas…read more This is a review for my experience watching a movie at Starlight West Grove Cinemas. MOVIE PURCHASE TRANSACTIONS https://www.starlightcinemas.com/locations/x00cc-starlight-west-grove-cinemas/ I purchased my tickets through their website. Navigating through the site was easy. Select the movie, time, and date. LOCATION/PARKING: It is located in the West Grove Center, where there is a Starbucks, bowling alley, and nearby there is a McDonald's. Parking was easy to find, they do have a lot, but I can see it getting busy with the other stores and restaurants in the same complex. SERVICE/AMBIANCE: The movie theatre got a recent update. It is very clean and inviting. I loved their holiday decorations. They have about 4 auditoriums and all have recliner seats. The theatre was comfortable and spacious. Regarding their service, all of the employees I had contact with were very professional and kind. They were patient with some patrons that needed additional time ordering and were very helpful. ------ CONCESSION STAND: They offer your typical snacks of popcorn, candy, hot dogs, and nachos. *You can get a free refill if you order a large size for your popcorn or drink *I appreciated the self service butter counter and that there was an abundant supply of condiments and napkins. ------ MOVIE DEALS: Tuesdays and Thursdays All Day $6 Movie Tickets Sundays before 12pm $6 *They do charge $1.75 if you purchase tickets online ------ All in all I had a great time at this theatre! The prices were very reasonable and it is a great location and place to watch shows with your family and friends. I am looking forward to watching more films here! See you at the movies!

The employee who helped me was unbelievably rude from the start. She had a very condescending tone, barely acknowledged me, and just stood there in silence while I was trying to order, like I was inconveniencing her by being a customer. When I tried to show my ticket on the app, she told me to zoom in. I couldn't, so I offered to just read it out loud to make things easier. Instead of working with me, she snapped and raised her voice saying she has a hearing aid. Okay... but how does that justify being aggressive and unhelpful? There was zero patience, zero communication, and just an overall hostile attitude the entire interaction. It honestly felt uncomfortable and unnecessary going in the movie. It's frustrating because the theater itself is perfectly fine, but customer service like that completely kills the experience. I shouldn't feel like I'm bothering someone just to watch a movie. Wouldn't come back unless they seriously improve how they treat customers at the front.

I had plan to see the latest flick in the Mario and Luigi Galaxy sometime this weekend. Not sure…read morewhen but a time would present itself. So I had a plan, not a fully baked one, but also the goal that I had in mind did not need the coordination and specifics required for storming Peach's Winter Palace. So when I had my fill of a corn hole tournament I attended I decided to find a nearby theatre to enjoy the flick I wanted to see. The closest place was this one--- Regal Garden Grove. And I have to say that this place challenged my attendance instead of facilitating it. I did not buy my ticket before going to the place. However, I did see on the Flixster app that this movie was being played almost at 30 minute intervals throughout the day so whatever time I got there I would almost be guaranteed a ticket. So when I got there, it was close to 3:30 p.m. I entered, and discovered that they had a box office, of course, but no one was working it. The box office was a relic, apparently the advent of buying tickets online and other forms of technology made its purpose obsolete. So I entered and I was informed that I had two options: 1) I could either buy the tickets at the concession stand 2) or at the automated screen. I saw the line at concession stand and decided to buy the tickets with the soulless and fleshless teller. But before I did, I also noticed that this place had a 4DX option. And it is important to note that I learned of this option at the theatre, not while perusing the Flixster app. I was informed that the next 4DX Mario movie was playing at 330. I could make that one, that was my preferred choice. But getting a seat in this movie was going to be a challenge like ducking fire balls and avoiding bullet bills. I went to the automated screen and saw the option to buy a Mario movie ticket and I chose a 4:00 oclock showing, I did not see the 330 p.m. 4DX option. So I got the 4:00 option recliner seat option. Then after paying the screen went back to its original screen where all movie options was shown. This is where I saw that the landing screen had two options for the Mario movie. One option showed all the available Mario movies, except the 4DX. There was a specific button (a second touch button) to buy the 4DX Mario option. So, imagine going to a touch screen at McDonald's, and wanting to buy a combo. You go to the button to chose a combo but only see regular combos. After you pay for the regular combo you see the landing screen to learn that you have touch a second touch button to buy the x-large combos, because you cant do this in the first scree. I do not know if it is just me but this is unnecessarily difficult, like having to go through a small maze to buy a ticket. I spoke to a staff member because I wanted to change my recliner seat ticket to a 4DX ticket, which could be done. It was like 340 and I was informed that the movie had 30 minutes of previews. A manager was called, twice, and still no one came. I eventually decided just to see the movie in the recliner option theatre. I was just over the wait and the lack of active courtesy. I clipped a picture of a broken and tattered Mario Galaxy framed poster on the ground. It was kind of symbolic because the movie poster all unframed and on the floor directly spoke to my experience at this place. The movie was still great, the recliner was awesome, but I am left to wonder how would I have enjoyed the movie in the manner I wanted to see it? On a last note, a fellow movie goer also had problems purchasing her ticket in the automated teller. Her credit could not be accepted. Yes, she might not have funds or a faded chip but she could not figure out how to surpass the struggle. She ask a staff member for help the, young staff member responded, "I am not clocked in yer" and walked into a door. I would have liked for her to say, I am not able to help but maybe one of my other staff members can, let me refer one to you. Yes, she was not working, yes she is young and has professional development to acquire, but courtesy from staff members should be a baseline. At least, I think. I don't know I do not want t be a Koopa about this place but I feel like they had serious obstacles for patrons to enjoy a movie.
