Boysenberry fans, jam packed Knott's for the month and I was not having it. No joke, I seriously boycotted the whole thing. I eventually gave in on the very last day when I met a very nice and friendly family from Northern CA. They had boysenberry glazed thick cuts of bacon. BACON. That's what got my attention. I was like, "That's it! Sold!" I regret not buying the boysenberry food passes sooner. I caved so late in the game and then frantically tried to find six boysenberry items to redeem it with. By that time, lines were crazy long and it sucked to wait in long lines for the next handful of hours. Tip: Don't be silly or dumb like me, and just buy the pass as soon as the festival starts. You can redeem throughout the month or all in one day. Totally up to you. For sure don't wait until the last minute. Since I only had a handful of time left that very last day, I only tried four items but we doubled up on two of them. Boysenberry food we tried from the boysenberry food pass: 1) Boysenberry beef brisket over Mac n cheese - 5/5 stars. I liked that they used white cheese for this. The meat was tender, juicy, and the sauce did not over-power at all. 2) Boysenberry BBQ meatballs over mashed potatoes - 5/5 stars. We wished we had gotten more than one order of this. 3) Boysenberry glazed thick slicked bacon on a stick (not pictured) - 5/5 stars. This was so popular that they ran out the first three times I went to get some. I finally got two sticks on my fourth attempt. The two sticks were thick and generous portions. Between the five of us sharing the bacon, it was actually a decent amount. It's almost like ham, so I couldn't finish one stick of this on my own. 4) Elote with boysenberry butter, boysenberry mayo and cotija cheese - 5/5. OMG. This was our absolute favorite out of the four. It was surprisingly SO GOOD. We got two but could've eaten a couple more between all of us. Boysenberry food items I ordered that was not part of the boysenberry food pass: 1) Grilled salmon salad with a boysenberry vinaigrette - 5/5. This can be found at Coasters Diner. That boysenberry dressing was amazing. I desperately wanted more. 2) Boysenberry marinated carnitas - 4/5. Served at Casa California located in Fiesta Village. I had this like once in the beginning and again at the end of the festival. It is good. Don't get me wrong, but I was wanting carnitas carnitas. If you know what I mean. Still delicious and I'd eat it again. It sounds kinda weird to have boysenberry on savory foods but it just works. It's shocking that it's not a strong berry flavor which is what I had expected before I even tried anything. That's my bad. Now that I've had a taste of boysenberry food at Knott's, I will be much smarter about it for seasons to come. I ended up enjoying the food so much, one of the kids and I, commemorated it by buying matching boysenberry sweaters. I'm a huge fan now!

It is a cross between a raspberry, blackberry and a loganberry. Interesting! This is the berry that is celebrated at Knotts Berry Farm's Boysenberry Festival! I've come to Knott's Berry Farm for the festival a few times on my own and once for a Yelp Elite Event (YEE: Ditch Day at Knott's Boysenberry Festival in 2018). This review is mainly for this year, March 13 through April 12, 2026: You can outright pay for Boysenberry food items, or you can buy a Tasting Card. The price for the card fluctuated during the festival. I went online to buy the Tasting Card for $45 because I saved some money instead of buying in person. Once you receive the email, you have to take it to a store or kiosk that sells them and they will scan the QR Code & give you the physical Tasting Card with lanyard. One card allows you 6 food items. Not all Boysenberry food items are eligible to be used with the Tasting Card. If I was a drinker, I'd use my Tasting Card on Alcoholic Beverages because they cost the most. The 6 Items we used our card on were: *Boysenberry Sausage on a Hoagie with Boysenberry Mustard, Peppers, and Crispy Fried Onions ($11.99+tax) ~ this is really good! *Spicy Bulgogi Over Rice ($11.99) ~ it was okay *Boysenberry & Matcha Mousse Cup ($10.49) ~ nice dessert and it came in a plastic keepsake cup when I got it. They switched to disposable plasticware by my next visit. *Boysenberry Beef Brisket over Mac and Cheese ($11.99) ~ Brisket was oversauced, didn't care for this *Crispy Chicken Wings with a Boysenberry Sriracha Dipping Sauce ~ the wings were delicious *Boysenberry Brick with Boysenberry Jam & Boysenberry Soft-Serve Ice Cream($9) ~ this was quite tasty but needed more ice cream! ***One thing to note about the Tasting Card is that there are no tabs to tear off, so you have to keep track of how many you've used. I prefer visually seeing how many I have left rather than relying on my memory. Items we paid for separately were: *Deep Fried Cinnamon Sugar Churro w/ Boysenberry Bavarian Cream & Boysenberry Ice Cream ($9.49+tax) ~ get this! *Boysenberry Kiwi Lemonade ($9.49) - [topped with a blackberry, so odd!] ~ not worth the price, but was alright *Lg. We came 3 times to use up our card and try as much food as we could. There are outside vendors selling stuff you wouldn't normally find at Knott's apart from the festival. I enjoy seeing what they have. There were some glassblowers & a silversmith working. Be sure to go to Old MacDonald's Barn to see the Mama Goat (Patty) and her kids Belle & Lenny. If you walk around Boysenberry Lane just past Ghost Rider, there are more shops and Photo Op places. There's also a place to buy Boysenberry Plants! It's best to come with family or friends who will share so you can try more items! We will most likely return again next year!

All the items in this house were from the time era that it came from, so over a hundred years ago! The first thing that happened was someone's child coming in and banging on the antique piano...if you are bringing children, please remember to keep an eye on them! These pieces of history cannot be replaced. The tour consisted of the living room area, dining area, kitchen, children's and master bedroom, and room with relics long gone from Buena Park's history. For a free, short tour, it was definitely worth it to learn some neat history!

This review is on the Historic Dreger Clock…read more You may remember the 4-sided,15 ft.tall clock that was displayed at Knott's Berry Farm for 50 years (1953-2003). It first sat in the "Ghost Town" area of the park in the rose garden. I remember it was in front of the bakery. It was eventually moved out front near their ticket booths. Then, it disappeared. The "Dreger Clock" was built by Andrew Dreger Sr. from 1928 to 1933. It showed the time, date, moon phases and 12 international cities. When finished he placed it outside his home in Long Beach where he built his wood frame home that withstood the quake of 1933 when other brick buildings collapsed. For 20 years he kept the clock in working order. After his death, Walter Knott saved the clock where it was enjoyed by thousands of visitors to Buena Park. In 2003, it fell into disrepair and was removed and placed in a warehouse. In 2007, the clock was purchased by the Buena Park Historical Society and an extensive restoration effort began. After a complete disassembling, cleaning, paint and repair, a special designed stand post was set near the historic Whitaker-Jaynes House, built in 1887 and now a museum across from the Civic Center on Beach Blvd. This became the new home for the clock. The dedication event for the restoration was Oct.3, 2009. It's a beautiful sight to see today.

But where the Honda center shines is that your ticket price automatically includes parking. This means when you're going to a show, you don't get caught up in a terminal gate, waiting for other people to pay. It was a straightforward process parking and going through security. Then again I was at a Weird Al show so there was no real threat present. I would love to come here again and other venues should take note and start to include parking in their ticket prices.

They don't sell coffee or hot chocolate upstairs so we went downstairs to buy some. Went to the Wild Wings stand and it took 20 minutes to order at a self serve kiosk. Once we walked to the pick up window there were 40 people standing around complaining that they hadn't received their food. Around 10 orders were sitting in the window and no one was responding to the names or numbers. The only reason I didn't give a 1/5 is because my hot chocolate was nice and hot and had good flavor. Staff Helpfulness - 2/5. None of the staff were informed about where to buy hot drinks. No one was friendly or smiling except for the usher in section 434/435. He was very nice.

I love their decorations, the Haunted Mansion Holiday special that runs from Halloween season through the Winter holidays, Jack and Sally out and about for meets and greets, and the Halloween Screams firework show. Definitely one of my most memorable and favorite trips to Disneyland!

LA is too expensive to rent space for this wonderful and fairly priced circus so they go a bit out side of LA, to Lakewood, Downey or Buena Park. It is such great fun and you have to go and take a kid or ten with you. These circuses are struggling so support them. They have performers from all over the world. All of the acts are great and the clowns are funny and they go into the audience. They don't have a bad seat in the house. And again, the prices are so far and they always have specials. Just go to their website and sign up for emails when they are in your area, which could be anywhere. The place is so cute with great popcorn, face painting and toys. It is everything a kid could want.

This is different from other haunted mazes that I have been to because they actually have vendors here and a live band playing. This is held in what was formally a Macy's...which adds to the creepy factor. There is also two scare zones that you walk through on the first floor. There is a total of three mazes...one on each floor. The first floor maze was one of the best mazes that I have ever been through. It is very interactive and personal. I like that you are not herded through like cattle which takes away the scary factor. This maze made me face my claustrophobia fears and once I made it through I was half filled with anxiety and half filled with thrill. Needless to say, we ended up doing that maze again. Actually, we went through all the mazes twice. The other mazes are really cool and the 3rd floor one is also unique in the way that you go through the maze. I won't add any spoilers. I definitely recommend this haunt. They have promo codes and discounts tickets out there and I would look for them, otherwise it's on the pricey side. Happy Haunting!!!

I've enjoyed their attraction when they were still in Fullerton and remember getting the crap scared out of me. I can report that they did it again tonight! Side note: I'm a Halloween haunt fan but a major scaredy cat! Located inside Laguna Hills Mall which is also by In N Out. Parking is plentiful and FREE! We purchased our tickets thru Groupon so entering was a breeze. No line at the entrance at 9:45pm on Friday 10/19/18. It was definitely a slower night. We completed all 3 attractions in 1.5 hours. This used to be a Macy's department store, so there is a lot of space they had to work with! Upon walking in on the first floor, there is a stage and vendors scattered among 2 scare zones which are mini maze walk throughs. Restrooms are only port o potties located on first floor by the entrance. There are 3 attractions - Boogeyman Express, Phobias, and Evil on 2. The website states there would be light touching by scare actors which I noticed A LOT of! Also, I noticed a heavy use of strobe lights. Some mazes splash you lightly with water and some require crawling. "Boogeyman Express" was SO FUN!! Line up here first! We waited almost 30 mins (I read that it can be longer), but it was so worth it! It is a train-like ride which is actually pretty scary with a pinch of adult comedy from the conductor. This attraction had me screaming, ducking, and jumping all from inside a train. Allowing only small groups (4 can comfortably fit in the train) really intensifies this experience! This ride should definitely NOT be missed! "Phobias" is a walk through INTERACTIVE maze! The line took a little longer because they only allow small groups in.. you'll see why! It's pretty fun and kept me on my feet. You literally experience some common phobias so proceed with caution! I refused to do certain things because like I said, I am a chicken! Thankfully my BF and a random guy who went thru with us completed the tasks! I appreciate how the walk through is built and all the surprises inside! "Evil on 2" is a haunted hotel themed walk through maze. The concierge walked us in to a big, dark room (it looked like what used to be the loading dock) and I instantly became scared! I like how this maze is different from other attractions due to utilizing department store stuff. The scare actors inside also did a great job hiding in unexpected places which sent me running away screaming! Overall, I think Sinister Pointe did a GREAT job! My experience may differ being a scaredy cat and having a small crowd which meant no more than 4 people grouped together in each attraction. I look forward to what Sinister Pointe offers next year!

We finally caught a show here!…read more Yesterday, 11:30. It was a packed house. Hubby got a great seat in front. It was a nice family-friendly event. It was really cute. We have a ten-year-old; he's a Peanuts fan, just like us. We really enjoyed it. The costumes, the singing & dancing routines, and getting the audience engaged and involved. It was really fun to see the little ones interact with the characters.

[Review #384] 2019 Yelp 100 Challenge (33/100)…read more Camp Snoopy Theater is located... you guessed it... at Camp Snoopy! =D It's an outdoor theater, adjacent to Woodstock's Airmail & opposite of the Grand Sierra Railroad, that seats a couple hundred people. It's home base to the Peanuts Gang for their shows & musical performances... starring that lovable beagle, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder, Franklin, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Pig-Pen, Woodstock, & more! Upon the show's conclusion, you're just steps from the Peanuts Characters Meet & Greet. =) Depending on the season, show, & day of the week, there are usually 2 or more showtimes (more on the weekends), with running time of 30-mins. or so. We've been to Knott's a handful of times & have only seen a couple of shows because the kids wanted to go on the rides. We saw one last Halloween & more recently, during this year's Peanuts Celebration (01/26 - 03/10 weekends + 02/11, 02/15, 02/18), the theater entertained us with Space Beagle... blast off with a NASA representative, Charlie Brown, Lucy, & Snoopy as the world's most famous beagle becomes the 1st dog on the moon! For some reason, I didn't find this one as entertaining as the Halloween-themed show. It was apparent others are like-minded because seating was almost at capacity when I have seen it at standing-room only. Near the end of the performance, Charlie Brown & Lucy danced through the aisles so kids were allowed to join in on the fun. I always liked this theater because of the audience participation. :-) Now that we have an annual pass, I'm curious about the various shows planned during the remainder "seasons of fun" (i.e. Boysenberry Festival, Summertime, Spooky Farm -- if they'll change it up, Merry Farm, & New Year's Eve). Space can be cramped if you're trying to transition between Ghost Town & Fiesta Village, especially during performances & when they end; I recommend taking the path between Calico Railroad & Silver Bullet, even if it's just to get to the kiddie rides further in Camp Snoopy. While there is shade, you should wear sunscreen especially during summer. Take a break between rides & check out a show... you might find yourself reminiscing about the good ol' days with the Peanuts Gang. And just maybe... you'll get to hang out with your fav buddy. I know I did!
