My teen daughter has been enrolled in role playing classes at Gamerunner for the last 1-1/2 years…read moreand LOVES them!! To her the classes are fun and a way to gain knowledge of game specifics, but to me, the parent, they are so much more! With guidance from her Gamerunner teacher Edward, she's learned how to: strategize, which carries over into tackling assignments in high school and college classes; deal with group dynamics, which is helpful for class and work place projects AND real world situations; expand her creative side through developing characters for each campaign, which has significantly increased her writing skills; and be flexible, cooperate, and problem solve quickly without losing her patience or necessary healing potion, which just might save her or a party member's life some day. ;) Most importantly (to me) my daughter has overcome her social anxiety without pressure or prejudice through taking classes at Gamerunner. This new self confidence has allowed her to take more college courses, attend large conferences and workshops, make friends outside her immediate circle, and find her smile again. I highly recommend signing up your kids, or yourself, for a class at Gamerunner, especially if you are believer in Benjamin Franklin's philosophy of education: "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." You won't regret the fun and the myriad of learning that will take place!

We went on opening weekend (9/28). Unfortunately, it wasn't very crowded at all. Which would have…read morebeen great for us if we hadn't bought the fast pass that we didn't end up needing at all. This is different from other haunted mazes that I have been to because they actually have vendors here and a live band playing. This is held in what was formally a Macy's...which adds to the creepy factor. There is also two scare zones that you walk through on the first floor. There is a total of three mazes...one on each floor. The first floor maze was one of the best mazes that I have ever been through. It is very interactive and personal. I like that you are not herded through like cattle which takes away the scary factor. This maze made me face my claustrophobia fears and once I made it through I was half filled with anxiety and half filled with thrill. Needless to say, we ended up doing that maze again. Actually, we went through all the mazes twice. The other mazes are really cool and the 3rd floor one is also unique in the way that you go through the maze. I won't add any spoilers. I definitely recommend this haunt. They have promo codes and discounts tickets out there and I would look for them, otherwise it's on the pricey side. Happy Haunting!!!

I've enjoyed their attraction when they were still in Fullerton and remember getting the crap scared out of me. I can report that they did it again tonight! Side note: I'm a Halloween haunt fan but a major scaredy cat! Located inside Laguna Hills Mall which is also by In N Out. Parking is plentiful and FREE! We purchased our tickets thru Groupon so entering was a breeze. No line at the entrance at 9:45pm on Friday 10/19/18. It was definitely a slower night. We completed all 3 attractions in 1.5 hours. This used to be a Macy's department store, so there is a lot of space they had to work with! Upon walking in on the first floor, there is a stage and vendors scattered among 2 scare zones which are mini maze walk throughs. Restrooms are only port o potties located on first floor by the entrance. There are 3 attractions - Boogeyman Express, Phobias, and Evil on 2. The website states there would be light touching by scare actors which I noticed A LOT of! Also, I noticed a heavy use of strobe lights. Some mazes splash you lightly with water and some require crawling. "Boogeyman Express" was SO FUN!! Line up here first! We waited almost 30 mins (I read that it can be longer), but it was so worth it! It is a train-like ride which is actually pretty scary with a pinch of adult comedy from the conductor. This attraction had me screaming, ducking, and jumping all from inside a train. Allowing only small groups (4 can comfortably fit in the train) really intensifies this experience! This ride should definitely NOT be missed! "Phobias" is a walk through INTERACTIVE maze! The line took a little longer because they only allow small groups in.. you'll see why! It's pretty fun and kept me on my feet. You literally experience some common phobias so proceed with caution! I refused to do certain things because like I said, I am a chicken! Thankfully my BF and a random guy who went thru with us completed the tasks! I appreciate how the walk through is built and all the surprises inside! "Evil on 2" is a haunted hotel themed walk through maze. The concierge walked us in to a big, dark room (it looked like what used to be the loading dock) and I instantly became scared! I like how this maze is different from other attractions due to utilizing department store stuff. The scare actors inside also did a great job hiding in unexpected places which sent me running away screaming! Overall, I think Sinister Pointe did a GREAT job! My experience may differ being a scaredy cat and having a small crowd which meant no more than 4 people grouped together in each attraction. I look forward to what Sinister Pointe offers next year!

This year there were alot more people in attendance then last year! If you have not done so, you must attend because it is so much Fun! From the main attraction of Indy Car races as well as drifting, truck jumping, porche racing, car shows and drinks. I guarantee you will have a good time at the races. Surrounding restaurants make it worth while. Djs playing all day turning up the vibe, there is nothing to ask for. At the end of the day, you get treated to a free concert! Lupe FIASCo happen to perform that evening. It was awesome! Overall, I recommend this event for all ages. For children at opening to 5pm. After 5pm, it gets rowdy with the concert and the drifting. Uber or Lyft is recommended.

Expensive Parking Parking near the Acura Grand Prix is…read moreextremely expensive, with lots charging $60-$80 close to the entrance. We found a $12 lot about a 10 minute walk away, which was a great deal but surprisingly, navigation apps showed completely inaccurate walking times, so asking people nearby was much more reliable. Confusing Layout and Poor Directions Once inside, things quickly became frustrating. We entered through one side and were told the event had already ended, even though we had arrived two hours before the end time. Multiple employees kept redirecting us to different areas, and no one seemed to know where the racing was actually happening. Unhelpful and Rude Staff We asked around 15-20 staff members, including security and event workers, and most either didn't know or gave conflicting directions. One staff member was outright rude and dismissive, telling us it was too late and trying to sell us tickets for another day instead of helping us figure things out. Overcrowded and Disorganized The event felt extremely crowded and chaotic. There were large groups of people everywhere, a concert happening at the same time, and no clear guidance on where to go for specific activities. We spent nearly two hours just walking in circles trying to find the races. High Prices Everywhere Food and drinks inside were very expensive, which is expected at big events, but even vendors outside and nearby street food stands were charging unusually high prices. Atmosphere and Crowd The vibe was energetic and lively, with a mix of all ages, from babies to adults. It felt like a big, exciting event, but also very loud and overwhelming at times. Overall Experience Unfortunately, we never got to actually watch the races despite having tickets. Between the lack of clear directions, unhelpful staff, and overcrowding, the experience felt more frustrating than enjoyable.
