I am not an actor and I'd never taken an improv class before. I signed up because I struggle with overthinking when speaking in front of others. These classes have really helped me feel less anxious and, instead, supported by others. I was even able to participate in my team's improv showcase due to the support of my team and instructor. The art studio is very cute and located in the same plaza as the Potholder cafe and the Animal hospital. So plenty of parking. Tori, our instructor had everything set up super cute and even had customized light bulb containers with our names on it to clean our brushes along with a personal paint set and apron. She was very engaging, full of positive energy and made painting easy and fun. Definitely will be doing this more often. You guys won't regret booking an event with her!

The parents love Kyle; the kids love Kyle. His Directors and Interns love him. And the community of parents/ families who are a part of the organization, they are amazing, too. TKTC has taught my child and encouraged him for so many years that he is strong and confident on stage...performing in front of strangers. In the first few years, I felt less patient; I wanted bigger roles, and thank goodness they didn't give them to my child. He was not ready. The slower progression was so important to allow him to develop his courage and skill sets, so he knew he was ready on stage. Thank you, TKTC, for your safe and caring space. I can't lie! too much time online can fuel entitlement, blame‑shifting, and distorted narratives, and that pattern showed up here. Two associates who've known Dana Do since high school reported ongoing hostile behavior at CSULB, including mockery of peers' artwork, age‑based remarks, and misleading stories shared with professors. At the Kleefeld Museum, the same human‑behavior patterns appeared. Dana relied heavily on open social‑media commissions, narrative‑shaping, and online monitoring to maintain visibility. Her painting showed color theory and value issues, yet she made elitist comments about who "belongs" in the university. Calling older students "bullies" and "unprofessional" while engaging in exclusionary behavior herself is contradictory. the issue is the interpersonal behavior, not age. The mix of technical inconsistencies in the artwork and the surrounding conduct created enough discomfort that we left. Signs of Drawing and Painting department favoritism only reinforced a dismissive atmosphere. As a museum experience, it felt psychologically unsafe and unsupportive of developing artists. Not recommended!
