Great Food We love the burrito and tacos, especially the cow tongue and chicken and they have the mini Tacos on Tuesday!

    Tacos al pastor
    Anshelle T.

These are some of the best Tacos I've ever had!!! The flavor is incredible and that hot Salsa was actually spicy! The service was awesome and the guy up front was very friendly. The ambiance is casual and cool. It's just a cool little taco shop for a quick bite or for you to take with you to enjoy! 10/10 recommend.

Rice and beans w/ carne asada combo!! Yummy:)

Amazing!! Salsas were creamy and flavorful not like others which tend to be on the watery/bland side. Ordered their combo 3x tacos w/ rice and beans!! Rice was savory and beans were a good mix of whole beans and saucy topped with cheese!!! The cheese was a nice touch!! Carne Asada came with onions, cilantro, lime and I opted out of the cucumbers. Meat was seasoned and toppings were fresh. I'm a Cola for so ofcourse that's what I ordered to drink. The food, dining room, and their menu all have a thoughtful touch that is just right. Service was friendly and made me feel welcomed, like they were happy to see me:) It's the little things that matter and I really appreciate that!

I went looking for the Krazy Trampos food truck and it wasn't there, so i called and found out they got an actual restaurant now located on Rosemont next to Wawa and Goodwill. So i went and found them. When i walked in the lady was taking orders, so i waited my turn. The lady at the counter i think she was 1 of the owners. She was very sweet and answered all my questions and we chatted a little. I ordered 3 tacos (2 carne asada and 1 al pastor with pineapple), rice and beans, esquite , and carne asade nachos. Everything cost about $42. I was really excited to taste their food. The tacos are street tacos with onions and cilantro. I tasted the carne asada first, it was very bland unseasoned meat. No flavor at all, but the salsa verde i added made it taste better. The salsa verde is very good and its mild! Mmmm. If you prefer spicy get the red sauce... Hot hot hot!!! The al pastor comes with diced pineapple and it tasted pretty good and had a lil heat to it... I wish I'd ordered 2 of those instead. Lol. The nachos were a small portion to me for $13. Its like it was missing something, but it tasted ok. It had carne asada on it so so again it was kinda flavorless. The toppings are what made the flavor. The pineapple went well with the pork. I did like the esquite but it was mostly mayo, but not enough tajin. So i added some a home and it was way better. I also like that they had raddish and cucumber on the side... I'll probably return to try the carnita and birria tacos, and I'll definitely get salsa verde. If they add some seasoning i think it'll really make the food even better.. Sazon would really kick the meat up a notch... Stop by and give them a try!!! 3.5 stars!!

Chicken + carne asada tacos, rice & beans

These tacos are so dang good, we sought them out twice in 1 week - once @ Farmhouse and this weekend at Big Ugly. Quite literally THE most flavorful bites I have had in the 757 - the carne asada and chicken are so, so tasty. I got the same order on both visits - the taco trio + rice and beans. It's a ridiculous amount of food - enough I could share with my daughter. The cilantro and chopped onion were so fresh and the beans were perfect. The rice was not as flavorful to me, but my daughter begged for it and that's a win. Hubs tried the low-carb queso tacos al pastor with a cheese "tortilla" and raved. Also a huge portion of food. We will definitely be looking out for these guys in the future!

Portions are big! Surprisingly the cow tongue was pretty good! Liked it more than some of the authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. Got the tacos with three different meat options, the nachos and the plantain dessert. Prices are decent, and food overall tasted great!

I pass this food truck everyday and I've been wanting to try it for a while. I had very high expectations since I see lines outside and constant activity so I was really excited to see they were at a local brewery called Back Bay's brewery, we went for a chill date night one evening and there were no prices on any of the items advertised which usually is a clear sign it's expensive. We ordered the steak tacos and steak burrito and the burrito was gigantic. It was hot and huge but not a lot of flavor and I was a little disappointed as I was hoping I would love it. We did not get any receipts either, I would've liked to know how much it cost but was not offered one at all. The today came to $27 and there was no chips and dip, no side items or anything. I think I had a little higher expectations and would hesitant to try this place again. Overall it's ok but not amazingly delicious. It will have you feeling full if you order the burrito.

Authentic Mexican street food is not only hard to come by but also hard to beat. This food truck holds true to that notion for sure. I thought everything I had was delicious. The carne asada tacos had plenty of veggies and the elote (one of my favorite foods ever!) was smothered in all the good stuff. I only had about a 5 minute drive home to eat, but I guess that was enough to make the corn tortillas soggy. It ripped apart at the first bite, so I had to fork my way through the meal. My lime was dried out, and the strawberries in my strawberries and cream cup still had some green stems and leaves. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even with a line. I was debating between 4 and 5 stars for this one, but overall I think they're an excellent addition to the food truck scene here. I would be escatic to see them at a brewery sometime. I would love to go back and try more of their menu items. I think it's great that they have so many options, especially vegan!

    Mold on frescas con crema

I've been wanting to try their food for soooo long.I got Al Pastor tacos. I loved the smell of the tortillas. They smelled so fresh. The meat was a 7/10. I liked the flavor. I'm from Cali so they came pretty close to California tacos. My husband tried their Birria tacos w/o the consume. A bit dry, not really Birria tacos, the flavor was really light. I loved their rice. This is what really disappointed me. I haven't had frescas con crema in forever so I ordered some. I was about to put the strawberry in my mouth when I noticed it looked weird. There was mold growing on the strawberries. I really wished I could try it. But I think that's a huge deal breaker. I don't think we'd go out of our way to try it again. If I end up seeing the truck again I'd probably stop for some al pastor tacos. Also the price for horchata was $5+. I gotta continue to look for a regular taco place!

I tried this food truck a few months back! I'm just now getting into Yelp commenting so it's late lol. This place is a gem! I got the Queso Burria con Consume and it was so good! The meat was juicy and the Consume had so much flavor! If you haven't tried this place you need to for that authentic taste, being from San Diego I have struggled for years finding that west coast taste! I always recommend this place to friends, check it out!

As good as nicos tacos. Big portions, burrito was huge. Fast and good service. Got two of the carnitas tacos, plenty of meat in there for a street taco. The pollo I thought would be in the drier side but really juicy and flavorful. The burrito carne asada was large in portion, and was good, but would go with the tacos instead next time between the two. Definitely recommend this place, just look on their Instagram where they update times and schedule.

    Quesotaco birria with consume
    Cine D.

I had their queso taco birria with consume. My husband had their torta and we washed it down with large Horchatas. Coming from the west coast where there's an abundance of taco trucks, we're pretty picky about what we consider "home cooking". Everything was delicious and I'd def go back again! Try them out they are also on FB to get their hours. They changed their hours but were quick in responding when I sent them a message. You will not be disappointed :)

It's a food truck so they are always changing locations. Look them up on IG or FB to find where they will be. It's pretty dang good. I'd hit them up again. I think the tortillas were homemade. I saw someone's FB post they cater for parties as well. Who wouldn't want to be invited to a taco party!?!

Here's the deal: Jessy's is located in a small shopping strip. While the building is a little older I did not think l it run down or in a part of town that I would consider questionable at all. I saw at least one review that noted this- could not disagree more., nothing to fear here. Plenty of parking and it's free! Once inside the restaurant is medium sized with seating for at least 15 parties and tables that can accommodative larger parties, 10+ people. There are two order stations at either side of the restaurant - one for hot food the other for ice cream and desserts. Service was friendly and attentive. You can choose to self order for takeout or be waited on. While staff wait on and bring you food and drink, pay is self pay at the food order counter. The menu is larger and has something for everyone. Proteins are optional for nearly every dish. The food here is authentic with lots of protections including some of my favorites- Al pastor and chicken tinga. Chips and salsa are scratch made and fresh- very good. We had street tacos which were very flavorful and also scratch cooked including the corn tortillas. Served with traditional hot sauces to add that little extra heat- awesome. The Al pastor was not grilled to get that char that some Al pastor dishes have but was otherwise spot on. Chicken tinga was perfect. If you are looking for authentic Mexican at reasonable prices, this is your place and absolutely worth a few minutes drive over. Hope to see you there sometime- happy eating!

We came here to celebrate a birthday, and it ended up being one of those meals where everything just hit. First off, those margaritas are no joke. Massive, flavorful, and strong in the best way. Bonus: they do $2 off specialty margs on Mondays, which is dangerous knowledge now that I have it. I went with the Coco Loco Margarita (1800 coconut tequila, coconut milk, triple sec, and sweetened flaked coconut), and WOW. It was creamy, refreshing, and honestly tasted like a tropical vacation. My friends ordered the House Marg, Peach Sangria Marg and the Spicy Pineapple & Cilantro Marg, all were just as impressive. The spicy one had a great kick without being overwhelming, and the peach option was super smooth and fruity. Before we even ordered, the complimentary chips, salsa, and that famous white sauce came out ... and let me tell you, that white sauce is to die for. I could've eaten that all night. For my dinner, I had the asada enchiladas, and I'm still thinking about them. Perfectly cooked grilled steak laid over cheesy enchiladas with verde sauce, plus rice and black beans. I loved that the steak was on top because once I got full, I could still pick at the protein (elite move). My friends got arroz con pollo, carne asada tacos, and the wildest dish on the table ... the El Molcajete. It came out sizzling in a stone bowl loaded with shrimp, beef, chicken, chorizo, cactus, and all the fixings. We all shared bites and it was unreal. We ended the night with the staff singing happy birthday and completely embarrassing my friend with a sombrero and a candle in his shot. Incredible. Definitely will be coming back, especially for that margarita deal and birthdays!

Happy hour was 3-6pm I think, and there were 2 taco specials on the board. I'm not sure if it was valid or not.. There was one person at the bar taking orders, serving drinks, and pretty much running the place. She was very busy. The anxiety of watching her try to handle everything made me a little uncomfortable. She was doing her best, and kuddos to her for not flipping a table and walking out. She was nice, but she asked us every 3-4 minutes if we knew what we were ordering. It was very aggravating. I don't think she realized after several times we were over it. The inside is pretty much a bar setting with a few booths. It's very dated and low-key kind of gloomy inside. I'd say this is a bar for locals, not really a restaurant. It's definitely the kind of food you could eat if you had a few drinks, maybe. But sober, heck no!! Lol. Ugh. I was excited to try them because they have some 5 star reviews, but it wasn't what I expected. When it was time to eat she went and got the cook from outside. We ordered 2 burgers and fries, and chicken nachos. We left and came back to pick up our order and the seats at the bar was packed at this point. The waitress met us as we walked in, with our food. I was hungry, so I tried the food in the car. The burger was definitely a frozen patty and thick as heck. It looked decent kinda sorta, in a way, maybe, just a little bit. Idk what to say. The fries were crispy but awkwardly greasy!! There was one tiny tomato on my burger and a huge onion that was a little moldy. I've never seen someone use a slice of onion this big on a burger. The burger definitely needed seasoning. I think if it had flavor it would have been decent. I'll give the burger a 4/10. My sister got the chicken nachos and she was not happy. Whatever mystery beans they had made were disgusting. They tasted old or something was off about them. The guacamole was a little sour tasting also, and the chicken was flavorless. She tried so hard to make it work, she even re-cooked the beans and it just didn't help. 2/10!!! She spent $25 and felt it was the worse decision she made all day. I wish I was exaggerating or something, but this is actual factual. The prices are reasonable, I'll say that. But it's definitely certain things to stay away from on the menu. I don't think we'd ever return. Maybe the tacos are better than what we had ordered. If you're looking for a drink maybe things would be better. I think they specialize in drinks over food!?
