Regardless of the candy, it's a base price of $12.99/lb, which is a bit pricey. Understandably it is the boardwalk. I was disappointed that some of the sour candies were either low or out of stock. (I arrived around 9:30 p.m. on a Tuesday) I got some sour belts-the strawberry and apple mix and sour blue raspberry belts were both good. The mango sour belts were decent-they had a strong mango flavor. I didn't really like the watermelon sour belts. They didn't have the sweet watermelon taste I was hoping for. They are only open during season and will be closed during off-season, which starts around Labor Day.

Maybe I'm just not the biggest fudge person, but I found most of the flavors to be a little too dense and sugary. That being said, I would definitely come back for the ice cream. I picked the chocolate Moose Tracks, as opposed to the regular Moose Tracks option they offer and it was delicious! Pete's Sweets has various hard candy, salt water taffy, and fudge. We picked up some dark chocolate, Carmel, with sea salt and it was phenomenal. The peanut-butter and chocolate was amazing too! They even have a deal that you get a half a pound free for every pound you buy. Which is awesome but dangerous. Service was friendly and quick too!
