Haven't been in since new ownership and I was disappointed. The vibe was sad and customer service lacking. One girl waited on my friend and I, (we were the only two at the ice cream counter) while the other girl leaned against the wall looking at her phone. The caramel crunch ice cream had no crunch whatsoever and the toasted coconut tasted like vanilla. I miss the old Frosty's and their delicious nutty coconut. I would recommend the ice cream place down the road. It's homemade and although they're always busy, they're friendly and efficient. read more

I ordered ice cream for $5.22, I can't remember the size, but it wasn't a mini. But, the scoop was not very large for the price. The coffee-caramel flavor was very good and tasted like homemade. Cute ice cream shop within walking distance of the beach and where we were staying. They also have parking spaces so you can drive over after a long day at the beach. I loved that they were open late...it seems like everything around here closes early. If you spend less than $6.50 you need to pay in cash. A small was $4.01, so luckily I had some cash, but if you get a larger size, or ice cream for more than one than it should not be a problem to meet the minimum price for card/ electronic payment. First and last time at this ice cream shop! The owners/workers are EXTREMELY rude. After asking to try some flavors they told us to keep our spoons because they would not give us another one. They are very weird about allowing samples as well. Also no public restrooms and if u ask they get very upset and mean about it. This place is also weird about card and requires minimum purchase price and are super sketchy when you pay either in card or cash for that matter. After reading other reviews plus my experience, i would never and will never recommend this place to anyone! read more

Perfect! We had just finished some hot mini-golf and everyone from there was lumping across the street for overpriced ice cream. We decided to drive a little further down the street for ours and am so glad we did! The staff was friendly, the little shop was adorable, and there were plenty of flavors to choose from. The ice cream is good & inexpensive. However, despite having very cute knick knacks inside, the workers (I believe they are the owners!) are very rude! It was obvious that they didn't care to have a large group in there (a family of 5!) or my kids in there! Don't even think about moving chairs to other tables to accommodate more than 2 people, as the owner will come and place them back in their place, despite people still sitting down. My husband would have loved to buy a few things in there but the lady was very rude to him and we left. I would not recommend this place for the ice cream, nor for the gifts inside, for the utter fact that the employees are entirely too rude to be operating a business! read more

Cool shop awful service. The lady running the shop was so rude. I asked if a flavor of ice cream had pecans in it because I have a slight allergy but nothing serious so she then refused to serve me any flavor ice cream even though I repetitively told her I was fine to eat it. Not closed--the neon signs (old) were being replaced and were hard to repair; not sure if there were other reasons someone said they were closed, but we met the owners last night and they're definitely not. Death-by-chocolate was good, as was the black cherry. Brownie sundae was made with. The brownie is not locally made, but still good if hot fudge is involved. The owners are a married couple I believe retired down here from up north. (NJ I think) they are the ONLY two that work and run this shop. So if the shop is open its them! How many of you think you can run a shop 7 days Everyday open to close. Everyone gets tired. No one can be super perky all the time. Not that I am giving excuses to be rude. But I have been coming for years and as long as you are polite they are polite as well. I hear them thank every customer! Just because they are not super perky like a cheerleader on a sugar high, does not make them rude! They are nice people working hard! Sweetness goes a long way!
