Anyway, the place was empty when we went in so we had low expectations but we wanted to try their custom root beer formula/recipe. We found out when we got in that they also have custom flavors of ice cream as well as a small food menu (hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, etc.) The guy behind the counter was very helpful in describing their very unique custom sodas (they were all their special recipes, not just the root beer). After a few free soda samples, he also sold us on a few ice cream samples describing why they were better than all of the other shops or what you'd find in the grocery store. He was right! Their cookie dough ice cream is more like cookie dough some how made into ice cream as opposed to just having a few chunks of it in there. We also sampled butter pecan (which he recommended with a sprinkle of cinnamon. It was incredible.), strawberry, and chocolate. They were all fantastic. I went with a large root beer while my girlfriend went with his recommended root beer float with cookie dough ice cream. The root beer was great. Christopher behind the counter described it best when he said it was almost just like a liquefied version of the root beer barrel candies. Her float was unbelievable. It really didn't sound like a good mix but it was the best! It was almost like drinking actual cookie dough with a hint of the sweet root beer flavor. It was a very complex but delicious flavor. I can't say enough about how great the soda and ice cream samples were. In terms of the soda, my favorites were the white birch beer, root beer, and some sort of lime soda. I only give it 4 stars because I did not try any of their food. If this were just an ice cream and soda shop then it'd be 5 for sure. So not only are you knowingly selling counterfeit goods but you are lying to your out-of-town customers to make a quit buck. Sickening! Notice the $24.99 sticker covering the bar code and how the receipt doesn't have a description of what was sold. This business SUGAR KINGDOM is going out of their way to deceive. We stopped by this morning hoping to speak to you about this but your doors were locked even though it was during your normal business hours.
