The mechanic verfied I was ok to drive to work that day and I made an appointment for the next morning and dropped my car off the evening before. On Saturday, the mechanic on duty called with a quote for my check engine light, but had also prepared separate quotes for other issues that needed to be addressed for my car. Initially, this stressed me out -- (even though I also knew these items were issues on my car, but wasn't ready to fix them yet). I asked them if they could email the quotes to me which they did. I went online and I ran over to the reviews before approving any of the repairs and saw a 5 star review from a neighbor that is the kind of person I would imagine would leave a very thorough and honest review of a mechanic. (I had also had great experience at this garage years before, but wasn't sure if it was managed by the same person - it still is). I gave my ok and the parts were ordered and arrived on Monday, my car was completely repaired and ready to go by Tuesday at noon. The mechanic did go over some other questions I had, and I really appreciate the time he took to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I would definitely recommend this garage.!!!

My timing belt, valve cover gasket and intake manifold gaskets were replaced. I took it back after only 3 days because it wouldnt start!! They honored the warranty, got me back on the road. But, a week later it doesnt start!!! I just had it towed to my regular mechanic in Warren to have it PROPERLY repaired. These people at Grosse Pointe Shell must have ADD or something. Don't have your car fixed there and waste your time taking back AGAIN and AGAIN to that stupid place.

Went to Belle Tire numerous times for service since I purchased the 4 tires there. Belle Tire needed 4-6 HOURS! Angel got me right into a bay. He showed me I also need brakes and rotors. Got everything done ( tires rotated, slow leak fixed, alignment, brakes and rotors) in 2 hours for under $1,000! Great to have a reliable auto service station in the neighborhood!
