All went will until about 2 - 3 weeks later the watch stopped. I thought maybe it was a bad battery so i brought it back. Joseph said he could put in another battery but it may be something more wrong with the watch. I did not know what to do since he was indicating that i would have to pay for another battery. And then he kept pressing about the watch probably needing a repair so another battery would just be a waste. I did not want to pay for another battery to see if it worked. He never said he would replace it for free and we would see what happens. So I left very disappointed and thinking that i didn't really want to pay for a diagnosis and repair. I really liked the watch so i decided to bring it somewhere else and get a new battery and see what happened. Well it has been a few months now and the watch is working fine. So it really was a bad battery that Joseph put in. It was poor customer service for him to not offer to replace it for free. That should have been the first step. After going there for years I probably wont be back.

My wife will have surgery Friday and a few days ago the doctor said she must remove all of her rings, including one she had not taken off for years because of severe arthritis. We tried every remedy, cold, oil, WD40 and dental floss, but nothing worked. Already anxious about the surgery, this problem just seemed to be too much. Out of desperation, I suggested trying a jeweler and Hefez came up on Yelp. They answered my call, understood and sympathized with our problem and arranged a convenient time. On arrival Mr. Hefez (I assume he is the eponymous owner) found the right, obscure tool and spent 20 minutes patiently sawing off my wife's ring. He gathered and bagged for us the dust and a tiny diamond chip that fell off along with the ring. We are still worried about the surgery, but Hefez took an unnecessary stress off our shoulders. We are tremendously grateful. The store itself seemed to be a fine, local,family business, but what stood out to my wife and me was the warmth, care and thoughtfulness of the people working there. That must carry over to the more routine services they provide. If you are looking for a non-chain jeweler between Providence and Boston, please consider Hefez.

They also make pins or emblem buttons for your shirt like if you've been 25 years with a company they can put the company's name on there plus the 25 years they pull pictures of things on it. They may click little awards award, be a shirt, then white selection of gifts and things it would be wise to stop the year before you head to any large jewelry store at the mall or any other place that says they sell great stuff. This one you actually get a family owned business business with the people people coming right out to take care of you it's not big, but it's big enough. It's not overwhelming. I like it myself we have been in many times to get stuff and I wouldn't trade that type of jeweler for anything all that type of service. A man eventually came out from the back, seemed visibly annoyed, and barely acknowledged us. When I asked about resizing the ring, he handed us a ring sizer with little explanation. When we asked for guidance--specifically whether the ring should fit tighter or allow room--he offered no real direction. I then asked about the process for resizing, and he immediately quoted $200, stating that they are "the best in the area" and that everyone else is "learning from them." That price raised red flags. Since then, I've contacted two other reputable jewelers who both quoted $50 for the same exact resize. Additionally, the man was wearing a shirt that was ripped, stained, and literally held together with a pipe cleaner. Presentation matters--especially in the jewelry business. I've worked closely with people in this industry for years, and jewelers are typically polished, respectful, and detail-oriented. This experience was the complete opposite. Based on cleanliness, professionalism, attitude, and pricing, I would not recommend this business.
