She's not going to rush through the explanation and she'll answer all your questions. You're not going to feel guilty for asking that last question. It's not like other doctors where you walk out with a prescription but not really understanding why you have it. Really the only downside is that Dr. Sues is the only doctor in the office. So yes, you will need to wait if she gets tied up with another patient. The hours are usual business hours, which is generally fine. But it also means if you come down with something more urgent, there won't be evening or weekend hours. And of course, there's no in house lab, so you'll have to visit Quest or Labcorp if you need blood drawn. The location is convenient - basically at the intersection of 495 and Route 50.

They provide detailed instructions during intake and check out process. I would suggest anyone seeking primary care to switch to Heale Medical. They have a great email subscription that inboxes new treatments or promotional services, and their patient portal web site is user-friendly. You can easily access the web site for lab results and referrals. They also offer a patient Membership with monthly charges that includes nutritionist consultation and earlier available appointment booking availability. But, at McLean Internal Medicine: we understand what the doctor is saying, he always runs on time, he remembers who we are, he never is rushed, he gets the diagnosis right or sends us to a specialist. That was very easy, efficient and quick. It was almost too good to be true (but it is). This charming, beautiful lady took my blood for overnight analysis, listened to me, found my medical history, diagnosed my issues properly and started me off on treatments that made sense. The back and forth communication between the app is amazing and has saved me hours of my life .. and the ability to make same day appointments is life changing. They have a children's practice as well, which I am highly considering switching to as I can see it being easy to schedule sick and well visits, get doctors notes, etc. My company used to pay One Medical Group as a benefit but it is so good that I continue to pay out of pocket. I am so glad that Amazon has purchased the company to make this type of quality health care more accessible for all.

When we arrived and gave our name, the staff didn't turn us down, so we assumed that they knew we are the people called earlier - well, we were wrong. AFTER filling all the forms, they told us that the doctor won't see us because we were late. WE CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW! If they had said so on the phone, that we should reschedule we wouldn't have been this upset. And then they said "you can wait here for next 2 hours and we'll see if we can squeeze you in." Uh, what's the point of setting an appointment? And do they think we have all day to skip work and just sit there? And this is what they are like on our FIRST VISIT where they should make a good first impression? Don't know about dr's skills(duh, never got to see her) but staff are very rude and unprofessional, and so was the doctor. The dr herself seems to do whatever she feels like at the moment and does not value the patients' time. Not sure how much communication and discipline the staff gets from the doctor, but clearly didn't care to remember that we were the people who called that we would be late. And if they are so darn packed they can't even allow 10 minute late patient, well then they shouldn't pack that much. In that kind of environment I doubt the quality of service would be so good. SO WE AREN'T GOING BACK AND NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. IT'S A SHAME THIS DR WAS ON WASHINGTONIAN MAGAZINE AS RECOMMENDED PHYSICIAN!
