My daughter has been attending Kraemer for the past two years and has really enjoyed her experience. I was prepared for a really rough junior high experience, similar to most, but pleasantly, she has learned a ton and had some incredible teachers. The teachers at Kraemer really have gone above and beyond in many cases in their academics. The staff has been knowledgeable and on top of student needs. I'd highly recommend it, especially for GATE. read more

As a former student who loved this middle school many years ago, I still adore the campus, staff, programs, and clubs/sports it offers. The current principal is amazing. He and his staff always have an open door policy. They communicate well through calls, written paperwork, emails, conferences, events, and apps. There's never a guessing game to how your child is doing. read more

Please do yourself a favor if you are parents. Don't send kids to this school. The principal is not helpful. He is not there to educate the next generations. If your kid's well-being is essential to you, please don't send your child there. If family values and respect are your values, please don't send your child there. If you want your kid to focus on the transgender issue and not academics, that is the school for your child. Came to see my granddaughter play soccer. Portable toilet was fill to the top . No toilet paper no hand washing station. Just gross . How could we have young lady's playing without a serviceable bathroom. read more

When Mr. Young claimed that he was a humble scholar, it was not true. He is actually very subjective with his opinions and arrogant. I have talked to several parents. Our experience was that if you try to express your feedbacks to improve school administrations and community relationship, it is his call. He rarely listened and became defensive and bossy. A good principal serves the community, welcome parents' suggestions and have good communication skills. When he has different opinions with you, you see an attitude instantly. Other than that, the teachers we have been experiencing are great! That is why I gave this school a 3 star. read more

This school has no boundaries for bullying. My brother had been physically abused by a couple of kids. The principal and staff did nothing but suspend my brother who had bruises and swelling on his face and head. No one did anything to resolve the problem. My brother had graduated from this school and I didn't want to put this out in public just in case this came back to my brother while he was finishing up his last year at this school. read more

My daughter is a student here and when I got fed up with the bullying, they suggested moving my daughter....wait, what ? Move the kids that are causing problems you idiots ! After numerous videos that my daughter has sent me of fights and girls taunting other girls I feel that something needs to be addressed at this school with how the faculty is handling it. Sorry Mr. Carmona but your faculty need to get it together. As a 30 year old I often think of the racism I endured here as a teenager latino brown kid. It was 2002-2004 I was a GATE student and it was hard I gotta say. The racism that came not just from the students but even teachers as well. I hope things changed but this was a very racist and bullying school. These things definitely have an effect in our lives. read more

I am give this school a 1. The assistant principal would give kids detention if you to the store to buy snacks. Although, he passed away. It's traumatizing for the kids to be exposed to an incident that has happened on campus. The students back 14-15 school year, ridiculous, mean, and judgmental. I was treated differently because they claim that they're previous generation of family came here & I didn't belong here. Ms.Doria, I disliked her a lot. She would get mad if I made a little mistake, one incident I was sent to the office because I didn't have my planner & I tried to turn in my late assignment she shamed me for not turning it in because I was behind time. When I try to ask for help shouldn't assist with helping on my assignment. I dislike how I was scolded by the students though I was still a kid, judgment was like making a big of a deal. i attended this school in 7th grade and partially 8th grade and i want to say it's an amazing school with great staff and teachers. their number one goal is to help you succeed and they are always encouraging and helping students. any kid can fit right in, as it is a healthy environment with clubs and lunchtime activities the amazing ASB organizes. i will always remember Kraemer as a special place that made my middle school experience the best. read more

As long as you don't question anything, you are fine at this place or you'll be punished over, over and more until it makes an example out of you. Did anyone notice the bond measure that it passed on 2011? No one understands the interest on that bond? It is evil to ask for donations after spend so much. You need to tell yourself to not hear evil, not see evil and not think evil to stay true to yourself here. It doesn't prepare students well for the colleges and VERY few good teachers. I feel sorry for the ones who learned to keep the silence for accepting public education will never change. Ask yourself why some good teachers didn't stick around here...They didn't want to play the corrupted politics and become one of them. Parents need to open their eyes and see the real picture of this school. Money before the kids. Hello everybody I am an 8th Grade Gate Student at Kraemer Middle School. Generally I love almost everything about this school!!! It can provide a challenging and enriching education full of group participation and student involvement and immersion. The elective choices at Kraemer are superb- there are robotics classes and video-production classes for the tech savvy, as well as an outstanding leadership program, AVID, and a TPRS (comprehensible imput) Spanish class. Kraemer also has 4 language classes- Spanish, Chinese, French, and Japanese. Their arts program is also amazing, from their elite level Orchestra, undefeated Dance Team, award winning band and colorguard. Kraemer has a lot of academic and sports clubs after-school that can provide more options to improve your education. For example, I take part in the Science Olympiad program, and I represented Kraemer at the Caltech CA state finals in April 2016 (We got 2nd overall). There are many other after-school clubs as well, such as MathCounts (also succesful), Coding Club, Spelling Bee, and much more!!! Finally, I really like the teachers at Kraemer, particularly the GATE teachers. Some of the best teachers at Kraemer (These are not the only great teachers there are a lot more) include Mrs. Collins (Social Studies), Mrs. Smith (Ms. LaBare, Language Arts), Mrs. Filipescu (our well-known TPRS Spanish teacher), Mrs. Samson (Leadership and Activities Director), Mrs. Fierro (Social Studies and AVID), and Mr. Christiansen (Science and Video Productions). As for the people who say that Kraemer does not care about traffic, I have something to say: Although Kraemer is in an awkward situation, with Valencia High School next to it on one side and houses and the park on the other side, you can tell that they care about traffic when you see the principal nearly every day at the drop of/pick up zone conducting traffic. The principal goes out of his way to improve traffic at Kraemer. If the principal cannot make it another staff member (teacher) takes his place. There is no way to improve the traffic situation, so you just have to deal with it. One solution is to arrive earlier to pick up your kids. There is truly something for everyone at Kraemer and it is very easy for you to fit in!!! Kraemer is an exceptional school, with excellent teachers and staff, and I am glad to be here everyday for school. read more
