Finally made my way to the Source and got my Kpop groove on! I came with my work bestie who is a mega Stray Kids stan so having them with me was so much fun. While I couldn't find what I was looking for, they do have a wide selection of albums and kpop merch. There is also this really good free bin where you can donate albums and pick from the pile. I can't really comment on pricing as this was my first ever kpop store but they seemed about average. Staff was super busy helping customers so I didn't really interact with them since I didn't buy anything. I will probably be back to pick up my SKZ and BTS light sticks as their prices are comparable to online prices; I prefer to support an independent brick and mortar than online (if possible). They had a Photo Booth which was $8 for two copies of 6 photos which was a lot of fun they even have props you can use. They also had a lucky draw machine which is always fun. Great Kpop shop for those who don't want to make the hike to K-town in L.A. for their Kpop needs. The store is very minimalist in that there isn't any clutter - it has a contemporary design with lots of open space, and there aren't all the posters and merch on the walls that you typically see at these kinds of stores. When I was there it looked like they stock all the latest/most popular releases. So if you're looking for that CD from your favorite group that came out years ago, don't expect to find it here. From what I could tell, they mainly sell CDs, but also carry light sticks from various fandoms, keychains, figurines, and posters. Not the normal flood of merchandise you see crammed into other Kpop stores, but that's not a bad thing. It seems like the types of items they carry here are better curated and selective. Staff is friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable. KR also seems to get in the latest releases lightning fast - the hubs bought me the latest release from a group I like immediately after it was available in Korea. And the best part of KR? The prices! I saw a CD here for almost $5 less than the exact same CD I just purchased in K-town a couple weeks back. All in all, this place is a Kpop lover's paradise. They play Kpop music videos on the mounted tv, provide a pleasant environment to shop, and they even have Kpop meet ups where you can win raffle prizes (I believe you have to enter to attend). read more

This Kpop shop is great. I placed my order online for store pick up and I called to see when I can pickup and the told me "anytime". I've placed In store pickup for another Kpop shop location in the past with merch that they have on hand but it always takes 4-7 days for me to get a ready for pickup notification. Kpop Republic on the other hand is super quick and don't make you wait for days for pickup. Staff is cool and friendly. Shop is super organized and aesthetically pleasing which is rare since most Kpop shops I've been to are just stuff to the gills with product. I live in Long Beach and because of the service, I don't ever mind the drive here. after bts' website sold out the new army bomb it was really hard to find merch without the over the top resale price & that wasnt sold out. i checked a ton of websites all around the LA area and was really unsuccessful finding limited edition merch. i found kpop republic had the light stick and pickets from the mots tour. the resale prices wernt expensive at all! im so excited to order all new merch from here! i placed my order the 17th and it arrived by the 20th, with 2 day shipping. the only thing i wasnt so convinced with was the fact that my army bomb was scratched even with bubble wrap protecting it :/ read more

Thank goodness I found this place. It's not far from my school, so I stop by when I need to feed my album collection. The staff here are super friendly and patient; they're always willing to help out and give us the best service. The place is super clean as well. This makes it so much easier to find what I need and it's just simply pleasing to look at! Prices are really good too. Not overpriced compared to other stores (hint: K-Town in LA). As an avid collector, buying from directly from Korea makes shipping high, but it's quite fairly priced here. Posters are only $5 too! read more

The best thing about the pricing is you can choose whether you want a poster or no poster. Although it's about a 2 dollar difference with a poster, it makes a difference. Finally got around to checking this store out today after finding it on Yelp. I ended up walking out with a few albums (with posters, when available) and I bought a print that they had out also. The store has a pretty minimalist design, so it doesn't seem like you're heading into a CD/music warehouse, but they still have a lot of awesome stuff. I'm new to the whole KPop scene, so they were really informative and I appreciated it. I was really impressed by the owners and the vision that they have for their new store. They were really personable and I quickly felt like I was a close friend, rather than just a new customer to sell stuff to. I'm looking forward to being a patron for the foreseeable future, and excited to see how the store grows and develops over time. I found the overall experience to be satisfactory since my order was confirmed and shipped out on the same day and arrived within about 3 days. Furthermore, my package came in good condition with no damaging of any kind. For the pricing I found it be to be fair compared to other online stores that I have researched or used. THIS IS LIKE ONE OF THE BEST KPOP STORES EVER! the service was amazing and they were ready to answer all of the questions that we had. (Shout out to one of the workers there: Angelina! She was literally the sweetest.) The price for an album was pretty good. Plus if u want a poster it's usually $3, but the prices changes depending on the group. It's kind of better to go here than having to drive all the way up to LA to go to ktown. But the downside is that there wasn't a wide range of albums. The prices are more than fair, considering the shipping cost must be expensive coming from Korea, and the store has a wide selection of new albums and merchandise. Customers in store can select their poster when purchasing an album, and the employees are always very kind and knowledgable. Smaller posters are typically $3, while the larger ones are sold for $5. They can be bought without the album, while the overall cost of the poster is cheaper when purchased with the album. The atmosphere and condition of the store is very nice as well: clean and well organized. I've ordered online many times and always choose the store pick-up option which is free, unlike many other Korean merchandise stores in or around LA. I've been to the location over six times, and each visit was a very pleasant experience. Customer service is incredible, and they fully compensate any mistakes that may have been made in the order. Questions and comments are always promptly answered, sometimes within the hour, when sent through email.
