Happened upon this place after my dentist appointment. My friends had told me about the restaurant but I never went because it's not really near anything I frequent. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center and you wouldn't really notice it if you didn't already know it was there. I got there around 1:30pm on a weekday. It was pretty empty but I expected that. It was well after lunch. The menu is quite interesting. I had to try the Miss A burger. The description was just too interesting to pass up. It's half a pound of rib meat with grilled onions and mushrooms, mozzarella & cheddar, and Korean Kalbi Sauce on a poppy seed bun. The burger was quite pricey at $9 so I didn't opt for a side. Also, my wallet was still reeling after the dentist... I took my order to go because my mouth was still numb after the dentist. I was quite surprised when I opened my order at home. The burger was huge!! I could not pick it up. I had to eat it with a fork and knife. I could only finish half of it. It wasn't what I expected. I thought it was going to be kalbi short rib meat but it was more like bulgogi meat. But it was good. My son finished off the other half and he also agreed it was good. I am updating my review and removing stars as I think I was so excited to have a burger place so close to me that I rated it higher than it deserved. My last few experiences were just ok. The burgers have been over cooked and over salted. There's a ton of ingredients that come on the burger which is neat to see, but not easy / pleasant to eat. I end up taking the burgers apart and eating with a fork which honestly let's me taste each ingredient which made me think that these burgers aren't that great. The atmosphere is still unique as there is Korean Pop culture videos playing on all of the TV's but the music over the speakers is a local radio station. Not sure I understand why they're not playing at least one of the music videos over the speakers. Anyway, I don't really think I can recommend this location anymore as I've had MUCH better burgers in the area since I moved here a little over a year ago and they are super expensive as well. Once your order is ready, they will call your name and you will pick up your food at the front. There was 10 of us and we all got our food fairly quickly. Everything came out hot which we liked. I ordered the wings with kimchi potato wedges. I got the garlic Parmesan and asian Fire. The wings were just okay in my opinion. The garlic Parmesan was very plain and the asian Fire was not spicy at all. No real kick to it. The kimchi wedges were good they had big chunks of kimchi which I liked. Haven't been here since pre-pandemic so it seemed time to add it to my North Texas Burger stops. First, know that, once you eat at Kpop, you're not going to be hungry again for the rest of the day. The centerpiece is a 1/2 pound, thin patty on an enormous bun and then loaded with toppings. I found the burger itself to be rather short on flavor, but the toppings on the CN Bleu really kicked-up the flavor! The bleu cheese was just what a bleu cheese-lover wants - heavy, earthy and strong, and the bacon was crisp and flavorful, and raw onion added a nice crunch. Still, the massive size of the burger does make it difficult to eat. My lunch companion selected to 2 A.M. Burger, which included bacon, egg, cheese and a hash brown patty. So much that he had to eat it with a knife and fork. We both chose to have kimchi fries as a side, and while the kimchi was really good, that they also cover the fries in a cheese sauce really takes from the overall flavor. I would recommend asking for the cheese sauce on the side. You can always pour it over the fries later if you disagree with me. All-in-all, the burgers are good. High marks for toppings and I love the kimchi. Among the downsides are the cheese sauce on the kimchi fries, the burgers are challenging to eat, and they're on the pricey side. The burger patties were well cooked, but I was left wanting more seasoning or a some grill flavor. Also of note, they do serve beer and the wings ads looked good, so I may have to come back to review the wings. read more

We were running to the grocery store down the street and remembered a co-worker telling me about a burger place that was hidden gem. So we stopped by later on a weekday night. First impression was clean restaurant and nice interior. Only two other customers there but it's kind of hidden in a small strip center. So many choices on the menu and seems to have a Korean theme. I liked that they had pictures of the burgers so you could get a better idea. So I ordered the #1 K Pop burger. It's an 8 oz or 1/2 lb. burger comes with lettuce, tomato, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and jalapeños. My bride had the #10 same as mine with meat and vegetables but comes with bleu cheese and bacon. We split an order of their fries ( more like wedges ). It's a big burger and we could have probably split it. I didn't like the bun and that's why they lost one star. They use the big egg buns and I think it takes away from the burger. I've seen this place for a while. Finished with some other business and decided to check it out. I walked in about 2pm and the place is empty. Large menu on the right with tons of options. I stop and stare for a while, looking at the expansive varieties of burgers, while trying to block out the screaming loud music echoing through the empty cement floors. Not a person in site. I finally decided to order a basic Kpop burger. As I look to my left, I realize a staff member is standing behind the counter not moving, not smiling, just standing and staring. No hello, good bye, thank you for coming, here are menu choices, kiss my grits or anything, just standing and staring. I order my burger. It comes with a whole 1/2 side of beef (HUGE fresh patty), lettuce, tomato, grilled onions/mushrooms/jalapenos, mayo, ask for mustard, hold the thousand island dressing, and has a nice pickle spear on the side. I was handed a tiny cup for water. No thank you, no smile, just staring at me. Rather uncomfortable honestly. The look is minimalistic particle board and cement, clean place. The music was LOUD rap, obnoxiously loud rap music. If that is your thing, welcome home. If not, prepare yourself. It was not nice. Children's cartoons played on the TV sets. Nothing in the ambience clicked with me, nothing. My burger, when ready, is set on a small area near the register and the attendant says my name and walks away and disappears. No thank you, is everything ok, can I get you anything more, just ... gone. Honestly, it was just awkward. Massive burger, really delicious. This burger is a masterpiece. I have to say, I was impressed with the size and quality. The buns were fresh and delicious, meat fresh and plentiful, all the ingredients just perfect. It was so sloppy good, I had to get a fork and knife after a few bites. Not a bad deal for a delicious juicy sloppy burger. Every once in a while, same employee stand behind the counter almost frowning, clearly not happy to be at work. I finish up, leave quickly because of the obnoxiously loud music, which MUST be loud because I have poor hearing and my wife fusses about how loud I turn up the radio. I'll be back. Hopefully someone who is happy to be employed will be there and maybe they can turn the volume down to a reasonable level. Maybe even try music that isn't obnoxious music. Burger is excellent. I split half a burger with my cousin and shared the kimchi fries, we couldn't finish out food Bc the portions were so big. I would definitely come here again. The food was pretty heavy though. And the fries had an overwhelming amount of cheese. If you love cheese you'll love the fries. It was personally a little too much for me. If money is no concern, this place can not be beat. The burgers here are ALWAYS spot on in both quality and taste. Such diverse toppings and flavors. Be warned: they don't fit in tiny mouths well and they're almost all messy. Regarding sides: wings are great, but (again) pricey at over $1 each. The curly fries are very good. The fried jalepeños are very good, made with fresh jalepeños. I was surprised at their shape, too, as they are akin to bottle caps rather than the big ones like you'd see at Sonic Drive-ins. Now, pricing: regarding those fried jalepeños, when I ordered by phone I was asked if I wanted a small or large order (assuming a large order was about 1.5 times the small order). I ordered the large and when I paid I noticed there were two separate jalapeño orders on my ticket. I asked the woman who took my order and she said that a large order was two, and a small was one. Maybe I'm on an island with this thought, but a large order is never just two small orders as separate ticket items. I feel like I was upsold. Had she simply asked, "do you want two orders of jalapeños?" I would have said no. My fault, but be warned as it was $11 for two orders. Ouch! More on pricing: burgers run about $12-$15/each, but they are HUGE. Bring a buddy or an appetite. Totally worth it though, IMO. Enjoy! read more

I went with the Kpop Burger and my brother ordered the Kimchi Burger. We both asked for the burger to be cooked medium (slightly pink). We also shared a side of Kimchi Potato Wedges. Our food came out in a timely manner, but the burgers were overcooked. This sucks because the meat was super dry and just lacked the juiciness of a medium cooked burger. I felt like there was just too much going on with my Kpop Burger. The bun ended up getting soggy and it just turned into a hot mess. My brother enjoyed his Kimchi Burger though, minus the meat being over cooked. The KimChi Potato Wedges were amazing! The kimchi had that nice sweetness/crunch/kick that paired well with the crispy potato wedges. Top it all off with some cheesy goodness and you can't go wrong! Overall, this place was just OK. Stopped by at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday it was empty. But it was meticulous and smelled very clean and the gentleman that took our order was phenomenal. They got a few more orders as we waited about 10 minutes (exactly what he said it would be) and we took our orders to go. The food was phenomenal. Everything was freshly made and it was cooked with love and perfection. You just don't get that in QSR restaurants. I was a GM for 10 years and I have never been more impressed the operations , cleanliness and food at this place. I came in and orders the Kpop Burger with sweet potato fries and the Korean bbq wings. I expect Korean fried wings because it's a Korean place. You know the twice fried super crunch wings but these are typical wings. So disappointed but now I know. The wings were fried crispy and the Korean bbq sauce was good. Just had my hopes up. Now the burger was just okay, nothing outstanding in my opinion. It had a nice soft bun and plenty of cheese which are two pluses. The pickles were pickle spears so I couldn't eat three Spears per burger half and ended up taking them off. The acid in a pickle goes a burger together for me but you can't hold it with this Spears there so please get slices. The burger was well seasoned and cooked through. The sweet potato fries were crunchy and long. Very good fries. So overall I'd return if a friend wanted to try it but other than that I'd pass. read more
