TIM ‼‼‼ Ok, I am new to Virginia Beach I recently moved about 30 days ago from New Jersey and I have been searching for the perfect spot to call my "home salon" !!!! I tried a place in Norfolk and it was absolutely horrible the worst customer service EVER !!!! and the work was extremely sloppy !!! but on Friday March 25,2016 I tried KP Nails which is literally 5 minutes from my home and they are beyond amazing ! I instantly got greeted when I walked in && when I told her what I was taken to the back and she immediately started to run my water for my pedi while I picked a color and she let me sit and soak for about 5-8 minutes while she did a few eyebrow appointments which was fine because I loved the soaking process lol ! but she was very prompt and she came back to check on me and she when I saw he work is amazingly good I mean it !!!!!! I fogot to get her name but I promise when I got back in 2 weeks I will know her name !! she was absolutely amazing !!!!!she took her time on my feet it was NOT rushed and she not once ever complained sucked her teeth or walked away after she started my feet NOTHING !!!! she was so polite and we actually had a small conversation while waching The Ellen Show on TV !lol After getting mypedicure I dryed my feet for about less then 10 minutes ... then I waited about another maybe 7-10 minutes for one of the nail techs to become free and luckily TIM came to me and said come on sweetie Im ready for you ! I was like WOW OK lol like he made it his business to get up and come get me from the front instead of allowing people who had walked inget their nails done before me ! he was VERY KIND and quiet a little shy but thats OK because his work IS AMAZING ‼‼‼ I was looking for a nail salon and nail tech that does good work like my previous tech in NJ but to shockingly tim was BETTER then my tech in NJ !!!! he took his time I didnt not at all feel rushed it was nice and neat and just all around AMAZING ‼ I will defly be going back to KP Nails and I would strongly suggest this salon for anyone looking for Great Service with Excellent work ! the prices to me are defly fakr and worth EVERY penny ! hope you guys enjoy && Tim I'll see you in 2 weeks ! read more

I went to get a manicure and pedicure , along with a waxing. But had to wait for 40 minutes in a chair, they put on the Hot water for the pedicure, water was cold by time they started, I told them about it. She did not understand what I meant. So I soaked in cold water. Then manicure was rushed, I did not bother with a waxing, I left. Place was not very clean. Will never go back there again. read more

I got a mani and pedi....I paid a little bit more for pedi thinking that they would do a great job but NO....I should have paid for the regular pedi because the next day my bottom of my feet was still rough...cuticles was not clip completely...and last but not least my manicure gel only lasted 2 weeks. I'm not one to normally write a review, positive or negative, but my experience here was so awful I really need to warn the next person that thinks of getting a bikini wax. I'm new to the Virginia Beach area so when this establishment came up on google with positive reviews, I assumed I would have a pleasant experience but no, can't stress how truly terrible this experience was for me. First of all I've had bikini waxes done before and NEVER has it felt as if my skin was being ripped off along with the hair. The lady who was giving me the wax would go over the same area over and over and by the end I STILL had hair. I was red and swollen for 4 days straight, it would even hurt to cross my legs or put pants on. Waste of time, money and was ridiculously painful in the end. Not worth it, don't do it. read more

Every time I've been here, I leave very unhappy with my nails. They never do enough coats of nail polish, so it's very see through. Right now it looks like I have 2 different colors on my toes. The guy did a very sloppy job. I had nail polish all over my skin. They also hiked the prices way up! 6 or 7 months ago I had just my feet done and it was $15, yesterday I paid $25 for a horrible job. I will not be going back here ever again. read more

Been here three times. This is the best of the cheaper nail salons in Virginia Beach, and even better than the more expensive ones. Polish seems to not be watered down. Most of the employees really talk to you rather than to each other. I love a good pedicure and this was not a disappointment. Some of them give better leg massages than others. read more

This place is horrible. I've never wrote a bad review because I understand things happen. But they are not skilled in their craft. I wanted a pearl manicure, and then they are rude when they ask you about it. They don't pay attention when they give you a pedicure. This female is smart and has a attitude. She doesn't smile once and act likes your inconveniencing her. I wanted to get up and walk out and this is the 2nd time. She wasn't paying attention to my massage or anything. She would stop with hands on my legs and talk. Look.. I'm paying you I'm busy. I have things things to do. You can gossip later. This is a very harsh review hut I'm sick of this place and how they think this is the right way to treat a customer. I tried it again thinking maybe she had a bad day last time. I understand that. k.p nails are very professional ...very reasonable....i always try to make an appointment before i go because they are very busy....twee the owner always does my nails. they last 3 weeks unlike some other shops ...they stay on without breaking because im very active at work and i want something that's going to last .....twee is very detailed and makes sure that the acrylic is all the way around your cuticles and if something is not to your liking when you tell her she takes care of it and doesn't get upset...i tell everybody to go to twee and make an appointment definitely a must.....pedicures are 23...which is very affordable that includes everything except hot towels ...ive been going for a long time and its convenient because wal-mart is right there if you need something.....the inside of the shop is well maintained clean organized and the bathroom is kept clean as well because im ocd.....some shops ive been to were filthy from the ceiling fan to the bathroom ....not this one.....all off the techs are friendly and twee really takes care of her customers especially her regulars....her vips...as she says...lol...10 stars for k.p.nails... from regular customer t. read more
