Unfortunately, the experience itself left me feeling very uncomfortable and disrespected. The session began with a technician who didn't speak English, and another more senior technician stepped in to translate. While I tried to describe the nail shape I wanted, there was a clear communication barrier, and the first technician left. From there, the senior technician's tone and demeanor became noticeably frustrated and impatient with me. I've always been a polite and easygoing customer, so being spoken to in such a belittling and condescending way was really disappointing. When I misunderstood a nail shape term, the way it was corrected felt unnecessarily harsh. I could also tell that I was being discussed in another language, which only added to how uneasy I felt. At one point, the technician even asked if I wanted to leave -- which shocked me because I had never said or implied that. That moment completely ruined the relaxing experience I had hoped for, and I ended up skipping my pedicure and leaving early. This is the first time I've ever left a salon without tipping -- not because of poor work, but because of how I was made to feel. Her talent is undeniable, but professionalism and respect matter just as much. I wanted to start a relationship of reoccurring spa services with your establishment but don't really feel welcomed and I believe my character was misjudged- as if to expect more hostility from me which goes against what I've always stood for- common decency and respect for everyone I encounter. I hope the salon can address this so that future clients can enjoy both great service and a kind, welcoming atmosphere.
