These folks have provided the best in grooming and boarding services stretching back 2 decades, and three dogs. From the quality of the staff to the cleanliness of the facility l can think of no other place where I'd rather take my pets.

My 2 year old cat had never been groomed before. We tried at home and it was a battle so we immediately gave up. I made an appointment with Kozy Kennels because they're one of the few places in the area that'll groom cats. I dropped my cat off at 9am and she was done being groomed within an hour. She's a long haired calico tiger and had some mats on her back - so I went with the lion cut. I LOVE it... she's so soft, clean and I think she feels better. Sue left a bob on her tail and trimmed up a little mane for her. We couldn't be happier and will be returning when it grows out in a few months! I think the price is reasonable for how difficult it is to groom a cat!

Angie does a great job with grooming and my doodle loves it there when I board her during a trip.

It has come to my attention that my dog's profile was extremely incorrect. The kennel did not even have that he was neutered on his profile which restricted him from socialization (he got neutered at 4 months old) and had been going there since after he was neutered. There was a lack of communication from the kennel which really hindered our dog's experience. This is no longer a place that I trust my dog at.

He has been a daycare and boarder there for almost a year now.. and a year ago, he had never been boarded. The staff were very supportive and friendly about answering all of my questions since he had never been boarded... 7 days later it was like he had been there for years! This is not your typical daycare/pet resort. The owners live on property and treat each animal that walks through their doors like their own! I don't normally write reviews because I don't necessarily think my opinion should sway people, but Jill, Zephyr, and the staff at HAFH are a MUST see!! Daily pictures and status updates provided, and my dog comes home wagging his tail and happy as can be. It gives you peace of mind as a dog mom knowing that a group of people can care so much for an animal they don't own. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking to board, train or use for daycare! They are like family to us. We will use HAFH whenever we can. We love you guys!

I worked there on and off for years. It was a part time job the last few years I worked there since…read moremy full time job was as a veterinary technician at an emergency hospital. One day, after a busy summer shift where I busted my butt I got a text message from the owner's wife... she berated me for providing "too much bedding" to the dogs and creating too much laundry. Mind you... their idea of too much bedding was like one thin piece of cut up blanket and maybe a towel underneath. I tried to put a little extra down for older dogs with arthritis or mobility issues. I was told a lot of times those old dogs liked the hard floor and that my providing them thicker bedding was inappropriate. The owners were just very cheap. They just didn't want to do much laundry. Also, don't bother bringing bedding from home because they won't actually put it in with the dogs. The owner did things like give dogs medication for diarrhea (at too high of doses- a side effect of this medication can be seizures) without pet owners consent. Once they almost gave ibuprofen, which is very toxic to dogs! Luckily I was there and stopped them. They also didn't call owners if their pet passed away (rare, but it happened) until after they'd come back from vacation. Because they didn't want to "ruin their vacation". They also made this weird "broth" to put over food. it was basically just garlic salt and a bunch of salty bullion cubes, which is also unsafe for dogs. even if owners brought their own food in they poured that crap on the food. and then they'd wonder why there was so much diarrhea... high salt intake can exacerbate that along with cause issues if your pet has kidney or heart disease. They have a yard with fences falling down. Roofs above the outdoor kennels that are so old and dilapidated they didn't really protect dogs from the elements. Ice builds up in the winter, which is near impossible to chip away and is a hazard for the animals and staff. If the owners put money into the place and fixed it up it wouldn't be that bad. I'll probably upset the people I used to work with by posting this... but I feel like I should have done it a while ago. I'm just concerned about the health and safety of the animals.

I dropped him off at 9:30am and they left him sitting until around noon. At 12:45 I got a nonchalant call from the front desk saying my puppy had a " nickel sized hole cut into his ear and would need to be seen by a vet". The staff workers begrudgingly answered my questions about what had occurred and seemed absolutely unfazed by the injury, leading me to believe that this is not a rare occurrence. My puppy had to get stitches all alone at the vet due to covid 19 rules. He has to take a strong antibiotic for 10 days and the vet also said he had signs of heat exhaustion and dehydration. When I dropped him off they assured me he would be safe, in a controlled temperature room, and would have access to water. This was all a lie. Today the temperature reached 95 degrees and I can only assume the dogs at this facility were left outside or in an un air conditioned room without access to water for extended periods of time. When we arrived at the vet, he also found cuts on my dog that they hadn't told us about under his ears. The vet was easily able to remove the matts behind his ears and said that this was negligence on the employees parts. They didn't even begin to remove the matting or bathe him in any way, this means that after they left him sitting for hours they immediately cut his ear and sent him home...This was my dogs first experience being away from our family and he is traumatized to say the least. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
