Let me start off by saying that I came by Kowloon House when I was stuck with my dad in Glorietta (GOODBYE, WONDERFUL GLORIETTA BRANCH) and we needed a snack. At P60 pesos, that ENORMOUS jumbo siopao filled me right up and served as my dinner that day. They recently opened a branch near the entrance of my subdivision Greenwoods, so that makes Kowloon House a lot more accessible to me. Their P60 jumbo siopao also comes in the 2 normal sized siopao variety too, when you're scrimping a bit with a friend or not too hungry. I prefer their bola-bola to the asado. I think that across their branches, the dough is always a tad too wet for my liking, but the hot sauce is so immensely good that I can't get enough of it. When I'm left alone at home, sometimes I just take a quick trip to Kowloon House and get an order of siomai ,which consists of 3 (AGAIN, ENORMOUS) meaty pieces that fill you up even without rice. read more
