I needed a man (I guess it could have been a wo-man as well) in a white coat who would become my go-to-guy for all my ailments. I decided to do a trial run with Dr. Cheng, a local GP who was well-reviewed. I now see why many others choose Dr. Cheng to be their first-line doc. He really cares about your health, and takes the time to ask the right questions to get to the bottom of what may be causing your physical distress. I saw right away during my first visit that this man is very competent in his profession, and that I could be confident he would lead me along the right path to get back to full health, whether through his services or that of a referred physician. It's reassuring to know you have a GP who is going to look out for you at your disposal. Dr. Cheng, you the man.

After holding for more than 30 minutes, I was told that the next available appointment was not until 8/28/2026. That is more than two weeks away. I rarely go to the doctor--sometimes not for a couple of years--but I guess they want to drive everyone to urgent care. I guess good patient care and business priorities have competing interests.

The office refused to treat me, for a raging bladder infection that they tested me for, even though I'm a regular annual patient. I refused to pay the $50 to come BACK to the office the same day, for the RX. 3. His physicians assistant incorrectly diagnosed me as having HPV. And I had to go to another doctor for an incredibly painful procedure, all for nothing. I did not have HPV. 4. In my opinion Kurtz now has a God complex, he didn't used to. ***5. THEY REFUSED TO TREAT ME, AFTER I LEFT MY URINE SAMPLE....UNLESS I PAID WHAT FEELS LIKE A $50 EXTORTION FEE, in order to give me my prescription. When the doctor says they don't hold back care because of an unpaid balance, that is entirely incorrect, and I believe he's lying. His behavior is reprehensible, and he is fully aware of this. Don't say you weren't warned. ....*add the fact that he stands by his uneducated and extremely unprofessional staff, says even more. Do better Dr Kurtz. Michelle and Dr. Le (pronounced Lay for those of us that need the reminder) are top notch people and very well versed in how to communicate with patients. First, I would like to acknowledge how easy it was to contact them, leave a message, and I heard back from them ASAP. I actually was able to get into see Dr. Le the same day; :) I'm so grateful, too. Furthermore, the care that was shown to me was extraordinary. I don't think I've had the same experience with anyone else. I really liked how they charted my history and Dr. Le used a white board, which is so brilliant because I could visually see all of my options (versus remembering them). Together, they are a class act and therein if you're looking for a new Doctor, I highly recommend you give them a try. However, there was no such thing as a real doctor's recheck. We realized we made a mistake when we picked up our glasses. After we put on the glasses, we realized that our vision was still blurred, and we could barely see anything when the sun went down. Most recently, I spent 19 minutes on hold just to schedule an appointment. The staff no longer seems as welcoming and attentive as they once were. In addition, the online chat feature--which made it convenient to schedule appointments and communicate with providers--has been removed, making routine interactions much more difficult. As a result, I have decided to switch to another healthcare provider. The difference in service was immediately noticeable: my call was answered in less than two minutes, and my appointment was scheduled within five minutes. After more than two decades as a loyal patient, I am disappointed to leave, but the current level of service no longer meets my expectations.
