Oh my lord. He is the best pediatrician ever. If you do not like him, I don't know what's wrong with you. I work in the healthcare field and I guarantee you it is very rare and it is extremely difficult to find a doctor like him. He is not only knowledgeable and skilled but more than anything, he is wonderfully caring. Dr. Kwon takes his time in assessing each kid and he talks to each kid to make sure that he or she is comfortable. Dr. Kwon then always spends a great amount of time with the parents in ensuring that the each parent is free of concerns and questions. I can go on and on about Dr. Kwon because he truly is amazing. In my opinion, the best pediatrician at St Jude! My little one has been seeing Dr Kwon since she was 4 months old and we wouldn't change a thing. He knows babies/children might get scared or nervous, so he takes the time to gently introduce himself to our baby at the start of every appointment. He takes the time to really listen and give you his honest opinion rather than rush through his patients. Not only is he super approachable, but he's very responsive (both in app and also if you call the office with a question). Parking is plentiful and the nurses here are very helpful. Of course St Jude has many good doctors, but Dr Kwon is truly wonderful! read more

Let me start this by saying I have never giving a bad review in my life. So for me to write this its a big deal. We switched doctors for us to have a doctor closer to home for our 20 month old. Today our son is not feeling well and the response from my sons doctor is to transfer us to a nurse call center which we did. The nurse recommends sending him to see a doctor. Dr Kwon's office said they don't have an appt until Nov 8. What is the point of having a a primary Doctor if they have no options when your child needs them. Basically Dr Kwon is there for the regular scheduled appt only. This is my third child and have lived in several states so I have had a bunch Pediatrician's over the years and have never been treated like this. Steve Kwon office is awful. They are here to collect your money not to be your Dr. Update: My wife called my son's previous doctor. Unfortunately he is out of town, but he called us within 10 min. Second update. My 1 year old baby has been seeing Dr. Kwon since birth and I'm so glad that we chose him as my daughter's peds. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable Dr. All the checkup appointments, he makes sure he answer all my questions. He keeps himself updated and he gives his opinion as a Dad. He is busy but he doesn't rush us and we are always seen pretty quick. That's a big plus for me. I hate seeing dr for 2 mins and wait for an hr. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. This guy loves what he does and it shows! So patient, so comforting, very smart and just a real nice guy. We switched from another doctor when my daughter was 3 and my son was 6 months. I love Dr. Kwon and his nurse Veronica! i first met Dr Kwon in the hospital when i had my baby. He was the doctor on call and was absolutely wonderful. My daughter had some little complications and he was great in taking care of her and most of all explaining to me and making sure that I understood what was going on. I immediately switched to Dr. Kwon to be my kids pediatrician and it was the best decision. My kids LOVE him and feel very comfortable with going to the doctors! Dr. Kwon is an amazing pediatrician. He has seen my son for three years and is always patient with my questions and taking his time while my child warms up. He offers logical and analytical responses to my many questions and doesn't always side with the AAP just because they said so. If we weren't moving he'd also be the pediatrician to my second child, and even went the extra mile to try and refer a pediatrician on the east coast for us. He's an exceptional doctor and we were so glad to have him on our team being first time parents. As a note, because he is so awesome, his schedule is tight for unexpected appointments, though I've never had a problem scheduling routine wellness exams and have even been lucky with the unexpected ones as well. read more

We have seen Dr. kwon for 4 years! His practice is roughly 45- 60 mins from our house but we enjoy his company! This doctor is so smart and is very friendly! Dr. Kwon is the BEST Pediatrician. Our son has been going to him since he came home from the hospital. It is now 7 years later and each visit is better.
