TLDR: FOOD GUD. BEST IN THE AREA IMHO FOR THE PRICE. RECOMMENDATIONS: CHICKEN OR BEEF SHAWARMA PITA STYLE WITH GARLIC PASTE ADDED IN. SUB CAULIFLOWER FOR VEG OPTION. 2nd time here and just as good as the first. Ordered the chicken shawarma platter with a side of garlic paste (extra $1, but worth it). I had the pita the first time and it was incredible, so not surprised to find out the platter is also as good. The rice wasn't the best, but it's also not terrible. It's what I would expect from a place like this, yet the rest of the food exceeded expectations. I also tried their fries. The fries are standard, but the green remoulade dipping sauce that I got with it was delicious - it tastes like a tangy, lite tartar sauce but it doesn't have any relish/pickle bits in it. Very smooth and works well as a dipping sauce for everything, not just the fries. Staff is always friendly and hard working. It's a small spot, so don't expect to dine in. It's designed for takeaway and deliveries, hence the terrible parking options available. This place beats Garlic n Lemons and Falafel king by a country mile. Highly recommend getting a pita first, as it's plenty for a single meal. Platters are large enough to share or have as 2 smaller meals. Price is affordable and worth it. Really good food. Tiny tiny place - only for pick up but friend crew. Had the fried eggplant platter with hummus and Israeli salad. The eggplant was lightly fried and dashed with shawarma sauce - like a spicy garlic aioli. My wife had the cauliflower flower salad, which she liked - especially the roasted beets. read more

Food was great, the beef shawarma was incredibly tender and melt in the mouth. Portions were generous and the components of the wrap melded together wonderfully. The food at this restaurant has been consistently excellent. However, and this is a big however, you need to change your delivery service. Uber eats is hurting your reputation. Please get on Grubhub or some other service or hire a delivery person. Uber eats doesn't care where they deliver the food, they obviously don't care if they get it to the right address. I was excited to place an order here. We called in an order of a couple of entrees and then I drove over to pick it up just before the order was supposed to be ready, right around 6pm. When I got there the doors were closed, the lights on but no one inside. I kept knocking on the door but it was clear no one was around despite it being prime dinner time. Anyways, it was particularly cold that night so after about 15 minutes and several calls to their defunct voicemail, I was pretty pissed. First time at this new / small takeout place, surrounded by a number of South American restaurants that I love. There are no tables, just takeout. It was busy around lunch on a weekday, a steady flow of customers, which is a great sign. The menu is small, although I read they may expand it, and everything was well seasoned. I tried their shawarma plate, chicken shawarma wrap, kefta(like a seasoned meat ball), and their cauliflower shawarma (healthy option) and a few other items. Everything was tasty, good portion sizes, and enjoyed by my family. I'd highly recommend (and check out the other restaurants nearby). I'll be returning soon! read more

You can only order on-line as far as I can tell. Since I don't have messenger or grub hub I had to order & pay online on their web site, not a huge deal but since I was picking up so I would have prefered to pay inside but that's just my own weird quirk I guess. Also, you have to order a minimum of $20 so if I were just passing by and wanted only a wrap to go for lunch I might keep on driving because of that. I got the cauliflower shwarma wrap and the falafel salad plate. OMG the cauliflower shwarma was fantastic, maybe a tiny bit too salty but very yummy. The falafel salad was also good the falafel were a little on the drier side but had a good taste....the salad itself was yummy too but a little on the small side. I ordered takeout and when I got home noticed it was a different dish than ordered. I called and the staff drove the newly made order to my house. That's incredible customer service. My husband and I ordered takeout online from their website one weekend and then when we went to pick up our order we realized that the restaurant was closed. Oddly enough, our order went through and we were charged despite it being closed at the time and never receiving our meals. We contacted the restaurant directly who confirmed that they would reverse the charge. At this point it's been over a month and we still haven't been reimbursed. It's really disappointing because we live in the area and were really looking forward to trying the food here. We wanted to give them time to correct their error but clearly they have no interest in doing that. read more

What a great find. I bought dinner for 4. I got one of everything, chicken shawarma, kofta, beef shawarma , cauliflower shawarma , falafel, garlic sauce, harissa sauce and baklava. Every meal came with rice, babaganoush, hummus, homemade pickles and a little salad. It was fresh and we couldn't decide which we liked most. The owner was super nice and helped us choose. Happy to finally have a Middle-Eastern place in Framingham for a change. It is tiny with no room to eat inside except a small space but he window, which isn't being used during COVID. I have tried the chicken and beef shawarma rollup sandwiches and both are quite tasty. They're filled with the choice of meat, veggies, hummus and tahini and the flavors intensify when all mixed together. I have also ordered the mix plate which adds tasty rice, falafel and a side of authentic salad. I personally prefer some extra tahini and a side of garlic mayo for my meal and while the baba-gannush (eggplant salad) wasn't my favorite, the food overall is fresh, tasty and portioned well. Kooskoos is a wonderful new middle eastern restaurant with a modern flair. While the atmosphere is off putting, the food is fabulous. We had delicious kahfta, a mixture.of lamb and beef with sauce served in a pocket with salad and transformed into a panini for easy eating. Try the falafel and tabuli which are both top notch. The food was savory-delicious. My wife loved her wrap and my plate was amazing. Fresh parley, real saffron, the ingredients are notably fresh. It's a tiny place, no seating. I saw Kous-Kous in an article and I went to pick some up yesterday. My wife and I both got some Kofta plates and they were amazingly flavorful. The hummus and tahini, the spiced meats and rice all perfectly cooked and the flavors blended effortlessly in our mouths. I sing the praises of the chef, and these recipes fill a niche in our palettes that no other food can. We both absolutely enjoyed all elements of our meals. Kous-Kous is a welcome addition to Framingham, and we're so happy to have this gem so close to us. We will be back again and again. I'll love it if they ever get seating, as well. Love it. read more

Last night my wife sent me to pick up our dinner order at Kous-Kous, our first time ordering from them. When I arrived I met the owners, a very nice couple originally from Morocco. While they prepared our two shawarma orders, a salad and a wrap, I learned a lot about Morocco, a country that is on my short list of future trips. Once I got home my wife and I enjoyed our delicious dinners and are happy to add Kous-Kous to our list of great take-out especially when we're in the mood for shawarma! This place is brand new to Framingham and I am thrilled to have discovered it early. Our city was in need of some Great Middle Eastern cuisine! We ordered a chicken shawarma salad and two platters (kofta and a combo with chicken, beef, and falafel) and everything was absolutely delicious -- including the generous sides of hummus and eggplant dip. The falafel especially stood out, for everyone including my one-year-old; I've had plenty of over-done and dry falafel, and this was NOT it...perfectly crispy outside with a moist, flavorful inside. Kous-Kous is a modest, clean little counter service, and I met its very friendly and accommodating owner when I went to pick up. A+ food, great service, and reasonably priced. Fair warning: The sign outside is still for the prior establishment, as Kous-Kous is waiting on a signage permit from the City of Framingham. I nearly missed the place but I hope you won't, for your sake. Highly recommend, will be back. read more
