Although the food is good, it's EXTREMELY over priced for the quality. serious ripoff for a sushi dinner. Worst sushi meal I have ever had. . got a couple complex rolls -~20$ each. Both were missing ingredients (Such as tuna.) Got 3 salmon rolls which were (13$???? Because they had cream cheese??) There was hardly any salmon - just a sliver - and some pieces had literally no fish. the roll construction was amateur, ratios way off. Good food. The fried rice was the favorite. George and his wife are super kind and have a garden behind the restaurant. He gave us a tour and it was nice to see that they grow food that they are serving. The pad Thai was yummy, curry was sweet but add the chili sauce to balance it, and chili beef is great. read more

I believe this is the only Thai restaurant nearest to Clearlake and they did not disappoint. YELLOW CURRY They hit it on the spot! We actually ordered the shrimp with pumpkin but asked if the can do it with yellow curry instead the red curry (they were very accommodating. It had the right balance of all the ingredients. Sweet, creamy with a balanced mix of shrimp, potatoes, pumpkin and onions. PAD THAI They did mot disappoint with the Pad Thai. FRESH VEGGIE SPRING ROLLS This is for all you vegetarians. Just like eating a rolled up salad with peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce (both come as a side) MANGO STICKY RICE Another Thai dessert done right! This is my to go Thai restaurant whenever I'm in the area. I love their Pad Thai entree especially. I would visit more often if we would be able to sit inside. Yelp reviews are what led us to this local Thai restaurant. It was already dark so we didn't get the benefit of the lake view. I ordered the red curry with mango and chicken. It was indeed quite spicy! I love curry and the flavor did not disappoint. My husband ordered a beef and broccoli dish. He said the veggies were cooked to perfection, but the beef was a little tough. All in all, he thought it was a tasty dish. There was live music by a local solo musician. The music was pleasant but it was too loud for such a small space. I stopped in today at lunch time to order several items to try. The very gracious and competent teen girl that helped me said her grandmother owned the restaurant. She very sweetly explained several things on the menu to me that I had questions about. I'm up here a lot for business and every time I get the Panaeng Salmon with jasmine rice. It is so good. It has a really good spice, great variety of different veggies, and the salmon is always delicately cooked to perfection. It is one of my favorite curries anywhere. This is probably the only Thai restaurant in the whole city of Lower Lake. Well, coming from such a diverse county (Sacramento), this place wasn't up to par with what I would like to eat. I ordered their chicken stir fried plate with veggies and a side of sticky rice. First thing I tasted it, it did not have enough flavor. If you're Asian, you know that everything you make is rich in flavor. This was not. I added in some chili oil, extra salt, and then it was a little better. We ordered vegetarian fresh rolls served with peanut and Thai sweet sour sauce with ground peanuts. So fresh and delicious. Just the right mix of fresh veggies and mint. Oh so delicious. Just ask them where they get there food...Oakland, Sacramento and the bay area. There shrimp are some of the finest I have eaten both quality and size. I eat at kour Thai pretty often and find the food fresh and flavorful and the service to be above par. My go to is the spicy red curry. Sometimes I test myself on the spice level but the red curry is always on point. If you like curry you won't be disappointed. There is a noodle salad on the menu id also recommend. We were in Glenhaven for a night and went here for dinner. Food is good, we ordered Tom Kha Gai soup and Sizzling chicken. They were served quickly, hot and fresh. Also ordered a side of Jasmine rice as they ran out of sticky rice. The soup was initially tasty because of the tangy lemon grass and sweet coconut milk but we got fed up with the tanginess of the soup and the flavorless chicken in the soup. Sizzling chicken is ok ok as a chicken dish, however it is not like a sizzler. Service is ok, mostly distracted. The restaurant is by the lake so there are great views of the lake. read more

I have ordered many times from this restaurant as it's the only restaurant near by that has Thai food but they always get my order wrong. I order the same thing every time because it's the only thing I like from their restaurant and every time they get it wrong even when I thoroughly ask them to check to make sure my order is correct before paying. I'd rather travel a bit further to spend $80 on a correct order than to deal with them. It's just always a hassle trying to correct them as well they don't take criticism very well.
