Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Loved the playlist they had going. I got the Flu Away juice and would recommend the combo of flavors for a less sweet immunity boost with a kick. Particularly a fan of the glass dividing wall that lets you watch the concocting of your juice in real time. I found the prices reasonable for what they offer and would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

Look, it's a shake.

I'm a big fan of convenience and this place is located extremely close to my work, which is pretty convenient if you ask me. The first time I came here I threw my food away because I accidentally ordered the wrong thing off the menu and was not about to eat it (totally my fault for not taking 10 seconds to read the description). I stopped here again during the week for lunch and picked up one of there energy granola bars and a chocolate/peanut butter type protein shake. The energy bar was really good and for $3 bucks or so worth the money. The shake was a bit of a confusing situation. I've ordered shakes in busy cities across the country and pretty much all the other local ones in Buffalo and this was definitely the first time I ever waited 25 minutes for a shake. You would think a place located in Larkin would focus on getting people back to work, not complaining, but pointing out a reason I wouldn't be able to come back here during lunch. The shake was good but nothing to really write about, pretty standard and on the warmer side. Overall, the bar was good, the protein shake was alright, and the wait time kind of killed the experience. If you aren't in a rush and want some healthy options, this place will still do the trick.

Well, the GPS had a hard time locating this place. It's actually tucked inside the Larking building. Not very noticeable signs outside. However, once inside, it's great! Coffee was delicious! I had the breakfast frittata which was quite tasty and just the right portion. Service was very friendly. Quiet on a Saturday morning. Look forward to going back and sampling more - coffee AND food!

I was looking for a business that sells wheat grass and googled online, and this cafe showed up. So I was totally excited to get some plus they were super close "Larkinville" so when I got there, I ordered wheat grass to go the employee was like "we no longer sell it" I was soooooooo disappointed he was like it wasn't in High demand. So I ordered two freshly squeezed orange juices to go which btw Weren't even filled to the top, BUT were super fresh & DELICIOUS, also ordered "The Works" breakfast sandwiches which consisted of eggs, Asiago which I didn't care for, spinach, onion, tomato, avocado, & ham. Which also was FRESH & yummy! I would definitely come here again... just was looking forward for something to be on the menu & it wasn't.

I love a healthy option and Kornerstone was just that. I am not from the Buffalo area - in fact, I'm from the Midwest, so I found Kornerstone on a Google search for coffee near me. We stopped in around 9:00am on a Friday, and it was not busy at all. My husband and I ordered our usual 1 iced and 1 hot vanilla latte. I added sugar free vanilla and almond milk to my iced latte. I can appreciate a cafe with sugar free options and milk alternatives. My iced latte tasted very good, however, for whatever reason, my husbands hot latte tasted watery. We literally ordered the same drink and his tasted terrible. And one other note on the iced latte - they gave me one of those paper straws, and it did not hild up well for very long. In addition to our coffee, we order the PB&J Acai Bowl to share. And it certainly is a sharable serving size. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for the preparation of the acai bowl which I can also appreciate. But if you are on a time crunch, I would encourage ordering something that's ready to go. I think most of their menu items are prepared fresh. Hot top: I found out that the offer online ordering too if you prefer to grab & go. The menu offers not only generically healthy options, but also options for vegetarians and vegans alike. Such a good thing in today's day and age. If I lived in the area, I would probably frequent Kornerstone. I would love to have been able to explore their other menu items: fresh pressed juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, other breakfast items. The dine in option is open, the dining area is clean and well-kept. The cafe is decorated with some vintage, old brick masonry vibe. In reading other reviews, I can deduce that this cafe is local, and I always like to support local when traveling!

Cute place to sneak away to and hide for a bit. Good coffee and food. Friendly staff, and very neat and clean here, which is the first thing that I notice walking into new places. A little pricy, but everything is fresh.

Got the Italian Veggie sandwich for lunch and it was very good. Fresh and delicious ingredients and the portion is just right, for me at least. Got the broccoli soup as a side

Nice place, nice employees and the food is good. Just be aware it's a bit on the expensive side.

Also an everything bagel with cream cheese, lots of cream cheese, warm and wrapped up well. More like a denser style bagel- not hard. Very good. I got chocolate in my Americano, the standard amount they put in was perfect. You can taste the chocolate and the coffee, not too sweet! Seating area is small and cute. Perfect for two people to sit and chat. Not good for a family or children. We did have our three year old and new born. We had never been here before and had already made our toddler wait to get a croissant so we had to make it work. If you know you know. But he is well behaved so it was fine. I would definitely stop here again if I didn't have kids with me or even to have a one on one date with my son.

I needed a change of scenery to get some work done and this place exceeded my expectations. Quaint with a tucked away sitting area that was perfect for my back to back meetings as they offered free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets. Decor was bright and Instagramable. There's an equally cozy bookstore down the hall that adds value to the vibe along with a candle shop that did the same. Customer service was welcoming and prompt. I appreciate service with a smile. Secondly, I love a place where the staff can give suggestions when I give them an 'idea' of what I'd like to have and they deliver. Ordered a chai tea, with more chai than milk and their suggestion of a vanilla shot was delicious. Will definitely be back to explore the menu. 100% recommend.

Fun coffee shop in the heart of downtown Buffalo, definitely worth a visit…read more I was staying at Hotel Lafayette for a couple of nights and right before I checked out I decided to swing by to grab a coffee. While you can enter from the street, it's also connected from inside the hotel, which is honestly how it caught my attention. The space is actually pretty big, bigger than I expected. It's open, colorful, there's a ton of natural light, cool murals all over the walls, luscious greenery, and a variety of seating options. The counter where you order is nice and open, with a big menu, and a sheet of glass between the customers and what I quickly came to know is their staple item, the cruller - a donut-like pastry that's super airy on the inside with a delicious icing glaze on the outside. Along with my oat milk latte, I had to try one... ok two. I got a seasonal Pride one and I can't remember the other one. Both were dreamy and it was easy to see why they are so popular. If I lived in the area this spot would totally be a go-to for working out of when I want to switch up my scenery.

The location makes sense as the residents of Williamsville are generally well-educated and worldly enough to appreciate authentic Yemeni cuisine; the same cannot be said for most of Buffalo suburbs, unfortunately, so I'm grateful the Buffalo metro now has one. Ordered the Qamaria latte, traditionally-spiced with cinnamon and cardamom. The spice notes were potent, but not at all overpowering and the beverage remained balanced. Had a chicken malawach as well; flaky and savory, and also well-spiced. It was a bit greasy which was the only regrettable thing about the experience, but not extremely and it didn't compromise the flavor or texture. The dining room itself was clean and elegantly decorated with Arabian and Gulf motifs, and the staff were friendly and helpful when my mother had questions about the menu. (I give any practicing Muslim props for working in food service while fasting during Ramadan.) All and all, grateful they're part of the community; I just hope they don't overexpand and sacrifice quality for quantity like many others.
