I'm not sure I'd actually go as far as to say I'm a fan of Korea Garden but overall it's pretty good and comparable to other good New Malden Korean restaurants. The dolsot bibimbap was really good - my friend had never had it before and got extremely excited about cooking the raw egg, stirring it for about 5 minutes by which time, yes, it was delicious, but also quite mashed.
Seafood pancake was a good standard. Meat I thought was slightly below the standard of Yami - I prefer their beef galbi. Also, the meat menu is a bit hard to navigate. For example, I couldn't find any bulgogi on it and a lot of what's on offer comes in large amounts not suitable for one or two people.
One thing I really like about the restaurant is its appearance - very cute, definitely the nicest I've been to out of the New Malden Koreans. There's a private dining room although who knows how you access that. Secret handshake? Why didn't they teach me Korean in school? read more
