I was on vacation and had broken a nail, I was able to call and they had an opening 2 hours later in the day. If I could take this shop back with me to California, I would. Tammy not only fixed my broken nail, but she was so friendly and outgoing she made me feel welcomed and even brought out an entire tub of colors to choose from after I specified what kind of color I was looking for. She even tested out the colors on my nails to help me make a decision, something no other nail salon has ever done and something she did herself without me even asking for. She shaped my nails to the perfect almond shape, something other nail salons also struggle with. I get my nails done regularly, this place has by far been the best place I've ever been to and would come here again and again if I wasn't states away. As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly and offered a cold drink. My nail technician was fun to chat with, asked me questions all along to make sure I was happy with everything and did a superb job. I had a gel French manicure and it is perfect. I had my hair cut here for the first time recently. After trying to style it myself a few times it seemed a bit off. I called the salon and requested the stylist call me. I was hoping to request she take a quick look and see if she could fix it however she never did me the courtesy of returning my call. I finally fixed it myself with my scissors. Had a wonderful pedicure with Teresa. Super clean and cute salon with really friendly staff. My feet were pretty beat up after a week at the beach but she did a great job. I called to make an appt. for a gel polish change and was told it would be $20-25 without a manicure. I saw Kelly who confirmed that, due to her tight schedule, there was not time for a manicure - just a gel color change, which I was fine with. She was very nice and did a really nice job. My concern is when I went to pay I was told it was $57 since "the old color had to be removed." I questioned it but the receptionist confirmed with Kelly that I should be charged for "everything." So I paid and left. I even tipped her well. I was annoyed and called an hour later and the same receptionist confirmed I was overcharged - I was not nearby anymore and unable to return for the $25 overcharge. I just had my second visit at Kor today for a spray tan. I had tried spray tan's throughout my life and I actually gave up. Every time I would go in I would come out with a horrible bright orange color not to mention that all my freckles were pronounced. I had lost hope. Christie is so on top of what's going on in the realm of beauty. She promised me that I would not look orange, and guess what.....I'm not orange! I look like I've been tanning naturally. What a great salon & spa to have at the Queens Shops. Went in for a pedicure and immediately felt at home with the friendly service and the local buzz the salon has. Came back for many different services during my vacation including two massages from Angelica who gave me possibly the best deep tissue massage I've ever had. She has strong, healing hands and is just a lovely person! Also had my hair done by Turi who I believe to be the color extraordinaire of the island. A friendly, professional, and excellent salon. Yesterday, I had a miracle performed on my hair by Kristi. I hadn't had my hair cut or colored since June so she really had a job on her hands. I'm extremely thrilled with my cut, color, and highlights. Absolutely gorgeous. I believe my words were "sexy af" when I took my first look at my new 'do. Thank you, Kristi! In addition, Bree has cut my 11 year old's hair and he can't wait to go back again. He looks so handsome and loved being spoiled by the staff. Looking to get a pedicure or waxing? I got a haircut by Kristi and everything was perfect. She did exactly what I wanted and I walked out with a beautifully layered haircut. I've found my new favorite salon. I'd heard from friends that this is the place to go and I'm so happy I decided to give them a try. Kristi is everything they say she is and more. She and her staff made me feel comfortable and they all seem to work really well together- good vibe tribe all the way. I felt like I was spending a few hours with girlfriends who genuinely want the best for your hair and look. Kristi did a foilage/balayage/melt on my hair and I've had several compliments on it since. I showed her a pic and she nailed it EXACTLY like the pic. Never had anyone be able to do that before. For the record, I never got compliments on my hair before going to her. After my treatment, I got home and quickly realized that there was still a few patches that she missed. Mind you this treatment is not cheap and I expected more out of it. was very excited to find these good reviews. Had Turi cut my hair into layers. She took off her mask, used her hands to wipe her lips and tongue as she'd gotten a hairlike thing stuck on there. Then she put back the mask and used those same unwashed unsanitary hands to touch my wet hair and continue with the haircut. I was speechless. This is disgusting without a pandemic going on, now it is just dangerously unsanitary behavior. Would not recommend her. The others all kept their masks on whereas Turi kept removing hers. The layers in my hair are not anything to write home about. It's the most basic haircut I've ever received. read more

Wonderful service and the salon is beautiful. Kristi turned my full dark hair into a beautiful caramel balayage! What I loved the most is that I had another color in mind but due to the color depositing conditioner I had been using my hair was not getting to the correct shade. Instead of frying my hair to get exactly what I asked for she discussed the challenge and we quickly went to plan B. Let's just say plan B is amazing and I am in LOVE with my color. I completely appreciated how honest Kristi was with me and that the health of my hair was important. She truly understands color and you can tell how much this is also her passion. I highly recommend KOR salon to anyone looking for a salon experience. Kristi has been doing my hair for years and now I love getting to go to her salon. I am always happy with my color and cut. The prices are competitive with other salons on island. I loved being pampered and look forward to my next appointment. I haven't gotten my nails done there but the photos I've seen from clients were impressive. I also feel safe with their Covid-19 practices. Kristi and her staff at KOR were Ahhhh-mazing! She cut my 6 year old and my hair and we both thoroughly enjoyed our visit and absolutely LOVE our hair! The staff was all so friendly and professional it felt like being at home but way more boojie and glamorous. Angelica at the front desk even brought us refreshments and snacks and was just so sweet. My son Logan keeps staring at himself in the mirror because he loves it so much and I've gotten so many compliments on my fresh do. I feel like a million buck but didn't have to spend that much. Entitled. Rude. Unprofessional. First I get three different texts reminding me of my appointment only to show up on time and wait for 30 mins. The girl at the front was not friendly, obviously having personal issues and should not have been at work today. After sitting there for 15 minutes with no one informing me of what's going on I walk up to the desk and before I can even say a word, she barks at me, "She's just running late," with a crazy expression on her face. So I sit back down. Another 15 minutes later she says, very unfriendly, "She's 8 minutes away." The whole time treating me as if it's my fault that I am here for my appointment waiting to get my haircut. Finally someone casually walks in, does not acknowledge me or say I'm sorry I'm late but goes directly to the desk and starts helping another customer. Entitled much?! So I walk up and say I'm leaving only for the girl who was suppose to cut my hair have the audacity to tell me, "I'm just helping a customer." Well what the hell am I?! A customer. Who you've kept waiting for 30 minutes and obviously don't care. As if my time isn't important and my situation doesn't matter. Only you and the girl behind the desk's time seems to matter. Is it because I'm local/Hawaiian that you feel pretentious enough to treat me like a second class citizen? Do you really think that in this extremely unprofessional, unfriendly and uncomfortable position your actions have now caused, that I would pay money to have you stand over me for an hour and cut my hair?!?!?! The worst part is, I don't think this is an isolated event, or just a bad day. It was pure entitled and pretentious character flaws of the two women, and that is not ok. read more

This is honestly a great salon! I work in the same mall and I constantly get complimented on the color and cut. I went from a dark brown to ash blonde and the stylist, Turi, took her time to make sure we didn't do any irreversible damage.
