My husband and I had the togetherness couples massage and it was beyond amazing! Both massage therapists were properly trained and asked us what areas we would like them to work on. The vibe was very calming and they had showers, lockers, water, tea, and a sauna and steam room to use before and after our massage. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend a massage here with your sweetie or by yourself!

I want to say that 1 star is actually 0.0! There was absolutely nothing that would make me believe and say that this spa is even a 2 star place to spend your money or feel relaxed. Shitty service! Front desk staff lack customer service, or even the value of satisfaction. It's pathetic! Where are those people who have education in hospitality and know how to provide good service or at least TALK to your customer. I booked a "FOOT reflexology" with a head massage add on and did this online while providing a detailed note "I am 27 weeks pregnant". Why add a f*** note space if you don't bother? I went in, I was told it's a body reflexology and I said no because I am pregnant and I can lay in that position. So after that J was told I can't get the reflexology as pressure points may affect pregnancy so just given a "Moisturizing massage". Bloody hell! I paid $195 for a foot reflexology that I did not get and when I told them front desk/staff she said oh how about your add on head massage? She didn't say anything and just asked me to pay that $195 Plus tax and tip etc. Hey HILTON, go get yourself some trained staff and forget that I would ever want to join your digesting Honors club. I have so much to say about your services but mostly you just want the money. You don't care about quality or service or satisfaction. I am so annoyed I had to pay $$$ for $50 worth service and didn't even see a staff interested in either compensating or even offering an apology. So PISSED!

When they sell you $300 scratched sunglasses- you point out the scratch and they say "it was final sale"

Great pedicures , relaxing environment We missed the lava rock pools being closed this time

More applause for the amazing Adele (the queen of lomi lomi), the exceptional Estelle (who runs a wonderful restorative yoga class), and the generally relaxing atmosphere...anytime there's not a gaggle of a group together. Most days, the spa is quite empty, and so even though the facilities are limited you can enjoy complimentary bliss if you're staying in the Hilton's Makai Tower even if you don't have a treatment. But it's sufficiently small so that if there is a group of women together for a spa day who want to be loud and chat, it kind of ruins the atmosphere. Last time I came I had restorative yoga all to myself; this time the Hatha yoga filled up with thirteen people and we were four in restorative yoga. Still, I had a good 5 out of 6 blissful days to enjoy the lava rock whirlpool, sauna, streamroom, lounge chairs and special showers. There are fancier spas at many resorts - but the classes and treatments here (if you get one of their better therapists) can't be beat, just like the price (free if you're staying here!) of enjoying the facilities for the day.

The 5 stars is for my massage therapist, Sam!!! She was amazing!!! I got the Lomi Lomi massage with add on feet care and facial hydration mask... OMGOSH............I felt so amazing afterwards and she even told me about local places to eat "real island" food!!!! My cousin said that I was glowing afterwards and I felt like all the stress of LA was released in a 50 minute spa... and my feet were as soft as a baby's skin!!! I was really sore after, but this was literally the first time that I treated myself to a massage! Mahalo Sam, thank you for living Aloha... just wish your other co-workers did too, but that's another story, HA!!!

I really wish I remembered my massage therapist's name, as she had the hands of the most perfect human on this planet. I booked the Deep Tissue Massage and felt every bit of her fingers working through my knots and tension. At times, it felt like she was digging into muscle spaces I didn't even know existed (and honestly wish didn't, because of the pain). Despite my internal screams and disassociation, she was incredibly calming and soothing throughout the entire treatment. It was the perfect way to spend my last day. At the spa, you can treat yourself to the amenities on-site such as the cold plunge, sauna, relaxation areas, abundance of toiletries and a private pool away from all the chaos.

And of course there are indoor showers, lockers with robes and sandals, towels, toiletries galore (body lotion, sunscreen, after sun lotion, mouthwash...). All of the spa amenities are available with a treatment, or without a treatment for hotel guests. The spa gift shop is full of treasures: workout wear (Lululemon, Vuori, and more), workout gear (bala bands), body lotions and potions, and more! Dreaming about that sauna + cold plunge + outdoor shower combo!

I was craving a Hawaiian acai bowl and we found Yoga Barre on yelp. This is also a yoga studio and…read moreshop, so we were a bit confused at first, but the smoothie and acai bar is in the back of the shop. We ordered an acai bowl and a smoothie which did take a minute to make since there was only one person taking and making orders, but I did not mind the wait. There isn't really anywhere to sit here, but we sat at the tables outside of the grocery store just down the way. The bowl was exactly what I'd been craving: thick, with a generous amount of fruit, sweet but not too sweet. We probably didn't need to get a smoothie also since the bowl was quite large and big enough to share, and while the smoothie was good, the main event was definitely the acai bowl.

Kayla welcomed us with a cheerful smile and was very helpful with suggestions. The place blends an amazing concept of a Yoga studio with some amazing Healthy bowls, smoothies and coffees to follow up the hard work with. We ordered the basic beach and ship wreck and yummy is the word that absolutely defined each of those. You can tell the taste that the locally sourced Honey and Açaí lend to the bowls clearly apart. All in all we really enjoyed the bowls. If you happen to be around in the area please do give them a try. A definite and a most definite recommendation!!!
