Sure, some dishes may be a bit pricier compared to other fine dining Mediterranean places in Miami, but trust me--the quality is 5 stars and the service is top-notch. This restaurant truly elevates the dining experience. For cocktail lovers like me, Aba has something special. I tried their "Aloe, It's Me," a cocktail with two different mezcals, aloe, green juice, jalapeño, and pineapple juice. It was refreshing, smoky, and packed with flavor, and at $19, it was a steal. The hummus, especially the one served with short ribs, is a festival of taste--its warmth and richness come from the short ribs' juices, making it the second best hummus I've had after Byblos in South Beach. The house pita bread is the perfect accompaniment. The ahi tuna carpaccio was to die for, bursting with fresh mint, kiwi's sweetness and tartness, and a spicy kick from jalapeño. The braised short ribs with sweet potato mash delivered juicy, tender meat perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the mash, while the lamb and beef kefta kabobs were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sadly, I just heard on Instagram that Aba may close permanently after only two years since its November 2022 opening. I really hope they turn things around because this place is a real gem. Don't miss your chance to experience this unforgettable dining destination. An absolute must try!

For the main course, the chicken was delicious, very tender inside with a nice crispy exterior. Dessert was where things got interesting: the orange pie was the clear winner for me. I also tried the ice cream and the loukoumades, which are similar to little fried donuts. They weren't really my favorite, but I'm also not a big fan of fried desserts. Service was attentive and the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. I would absolutely order the orange pie again.

I enjoyed everything I had there. It was a great way to start the day. Our waiter was also attentive. The restaurant was beautiful and had an open feel to it. It's great for small or large parties and even children. We sat inside but they also had a large outdoor area as well. I cannot wait to be back.

The flavors were rich and satisfying, making it easy to see why this place is highly regarded. We showed up on what seemed to be a slow day because we were the only ones in the restaurant, and the service was superb. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, recommending dishes and ensuring our experience was top-notch. The ambiance was relaxed, with a cozy vibe that made it easy to enjoy our meal. The sides were also noteworthy--especially the sweet potato fries and cucumber salad, which complemented the meats beautifully. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Overall, Meat Bar is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious kosher food on Miami Beach. I can't wait to return and try more from their menu!

Shortly after, the manager or owner approached us and said I could not feed her those crackers because they were not kosher. I asked if there was something suitable we could order for her, but options were limited, so we ordered fries, which thankfully came out quickly. We initially wanted to order a smaller steak along with several appetizers, as we enjoy trying a variety of dishes. However, after a lot of back and forth, the server strongly pushed us toward their recommendation instead. We eventually went with it, but the food was mediocre and the sides were very basic. We felt pressured into ordering something we didn't really want. Later, the steak arrived medium rare instead of the medium well we requested, which meant we couldn't give much of it to our baby. Wanting to be respectful, I asked the manager if I could feed her a Serenity-branded baby food pouch. After examining it for a while, he said no -- again because it was not kosher -- with no explanation or alternative offered. Overall, the experience felt rigid and unwelcoming, especially for a family with a baby. The food did not justify the price, and we left feeling that we overpaid for a disappointing and uncomfortable experience.

Everything I tried was flavorful, fresh, and made me want more. I ordered the Avocado Smash on gluten-free bread, which was soft and delicious. On top were thin slices of crunchy cucumbers and radishes, then added a sprinkle of red chili flakes for a little kick. I also got the six-minute eggs on the side, and they were absolute perfection. Creamy, perfectly cooked, and exactly what I wanted. Then I also decided to add on a Greek yogurt bowl with lots of fruit, in addition to their housemaid granola and drizzle of honey. So yummy!! I also tried their dragon fruit drink made with coconut water, which was so refreshing and kept me feeling super hydrated. And then there was the Coffee Banana Latte... chocolatey, creamy, and SO good. Honestly, I just wanted more! Everything looked so fresh and colorful, and now I'm eyeing their salads because they look absolutely amazing! Definitely one of my favorite finds in Miami Beach so far. I'll be back!

Val was incredibly friendly, patient, and informative. She took the time to explain the benefits of downloading the Pura Vida app and even told me about the local discount available. I've been coming here for a while, and surprisingly, no one had ever mentioned these perks before. She even waited while I downloaded the app to make sure I received my points, which was such a thoughtful touch. As for the food, I ordered the falafel bowl, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Between the great food and Val's outstanding service, I've found myself coming back regularly. What started as a once-in-a-while visit has turned into a weekly lunch spot, and sometimes I stop by twice a week just to grab their amazing vegan cookie! A big thank you to Val for going above and beyond. Excellent customer service makes all the difference, and she definitely made me feel like a valued customer. Highly recommend!
