Ambiance -5 Price - 4+ Quality 5 Price-to-quality ratio - 4.5 Service - 5 Located on the lower level of Bal Harbour Shops, right next to Sacks, Mediterranean Aba is one of the best Mediterranean spots in town. Sure, some dishes may be a bit pricier compared to other fine dining Mediterranean places in Miami, but trust me--the quality is 5 stars and the service is top-notch. This restaurant truly elevates the dining experience. For cocktail lovers like me, Aba has something special. I tried their "Aloe, It's Me," a cocktail with two different mezcals, aloe, green juice, jalapeño, and pineapple juice. It was refreshing, smoky, and packed with flavor, and at $19, it was a steal. The hummus, especially the one served with short ribs, is a festival of taste--its warmth and richness come from the short ribs' juices, making it the second best hummus I've had after Byblos in South Beach. The house pita bread is the perfect accompaniment. The ahi tuna carpaccio was to die for, bursting with fresh mint, kiwi's sweetness and tartness, and a spicy kick from jalapeño. The braised short ribs with sweet potato mash delivered juicy, tender meat perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the mash, while the lamb and beef kefta kabobs were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sadly, I just heard on Instagram that Aba may close permanently after only two years since its November 2022 opening. I really hope they turn things around because this place is a real gem. Don't miss your chance to experience this unforgettable dining destination. An absolute must try!

**Vegetarian Friendly** Absolutely stunning interior and exterior patio seating. The outdoor patio is covered and perfect for the cool fall evenings. Our Order: Family Style: (1) Classic Hummus, (2) Whipped Feta, (3) Muhammara, (4) House-made Labneh, (5) Crispy Potatoes, and (6) Green Falafel Dessert: (1) Bougatsa Every dip was delicious. The table favorite was Muhammara - perfectly sweet and spicy. The least favorite were the Crispy Potatoes - they were good, but could have done without them. We were VERY disappointed with the quality of their pita. Yes, it was made in house but it wasn't fresh. It was tough and chewy. Didn't even come out warm. We were excited about the Bougatsa dessert, and it was a disappointment. It's an "interactive" dessert but not one I would order again. Not a lot of flavor/filling. There is $10 Valet Parking underneath Saks - you can valet at the main entrance too, but it's much busier. Or there is $3/hour self garage parking.

Delicious Mediterranean cuisine with fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. The menu was limited to us but it offers a variety of dishes, from kebabs to fresh salads.

I've been wanting to come to Aba for a while and was really excited to finally try it with friends during Miami Spice. To start, the restaurant is so beautiful! It's a great restaurant for date night or even a special event. We ordered from the Miami Spice menu which was $60/pp. We tried the sweet corn hummus, the crispy short rib hummus, and the Muhammad's which were all so delicious. From the cold and hot mezzes we ordered the chilled cucumbers and the Greek village salad and for the entrees we had the grilled chicken kebab and the bone-in short rib and lastly for dessert I had the sticky date cake, it was so good! Our serve was so sweet and friendly. The entire experience at Aba was amazing. I highly recommend it and plan to return again soon.

Whipped Feta Spread with a mix of veggies to spread in!

ABA @ Bal Harbour will be your magic carpet ride to this Mediterranean-Cali loft gem Set in the glamorous Bay Harbour Shops, ABA enchants‍the atmosphere with its modern chic Middle Eastern decoration that suits you in the environment. All details are perfectly crafted to transmit that Arabian mood, as well as a Cali relaxed mood The right blend to set up the tray for its menu offering. Start the gastronomic adventure by ordering their classic HUMMUS served with their house bread or cruites (a garlic toasted thin layer cracker) and mixed with za'atar, olive oil, and vegetable crudité.. Followed by the Whipped Feta Spread with crushed pistachio, Aleppo & Urfa pepper, olive oil that makes the perfect segway to the house-made Stracciatella, that pistachio lovers will adore as it is garnished with grilled peach, pistachio pesto, crouton, basil (to us, it was presented on top of tomato bites). The Spread sampling couldn't be complete without a Charred Eggplant based on house yogurt, lemon, and California olive oil....it was well balanced as sometimes this spread tends to be bitter, but in this case, it wasn't. The Greek Village Salad is filled with plenty of Feta cheese (which I adore) and veggies (vine-ripened tomato, Persian cucumber, red onion, kalamata olive, bell pepper, greek vinaigrette), paired on touch with the spreads. Let drums roll for the starters: The Ahi Tuna with jalapeño, ginger scallion, kiwi, and hibiscus vinaigrette excelled and was one of my favorites because it has a nice spark of bitter taste. this one. Then I would have to give it up to the Beet Carpaccio (not only because I'm obsessed with beetroot in recipes, but because it played very well with the other ingredients (candied walnut, lemon zest, chive, yuzu vinaigrette). Honoring the Mediterranean, the green falafel is delivered due to its freshness, and on this occasion, it reflects a twist as it is prepared with avocado tzatziki, garlic tahini, and Dania spice. The grilled chicken also had a revamp by being marinated with yogurt, sweet pepper, and zhoug! Expect the same from the Beef & Lamb kebab, flavored with lemon, olive oil, tzatziki. The Signature Drinks were led by: Mediterranean Mule: herb-infused basic + 11 vodka, almond, Galliano, ginger, and lime ‍! Crisp taste, with the bitterness of the ginger and lime. Aloe? it's me... Ilegal joven mezcal, dos hombres mezcal , aloe , green juice , jalapeño, and pineapple! You can taste the aloe in every sip ! Last but not least, the service was impeccable by the awesome team on board, from the splendid bartenders, Julia and Adam, to the servers Andrei, Dereck, and the rest of the team ‍‍‍‍who always made sure to have plenty of food for all of us! #ABAmore

Miami spice lunch menu

Amazing staff, great food, and a nice ambiance. My only regret was not trying this place sooner! I went outside my comfort zone to try this place and they did not disappoint! Everything I ate and drank was full of flavor and fresh. Also, the Miami spice lunch menu was delicious with great options. The labneh was delicious. The chopped Mediterranean salad was delicious. The sticky date cake...was also delicious. I'd order it all again. The service was OVER THE TOP!! Mira took care of me at the bar and made it feel like home. I didn't need to ask for anything and she even educated me on the Lettuce Entertain You app. She was even on top of the specials and time for happy hour. She provided the best service I've had in years. On happy hour I had a dirty martini and it was good/strong. Needless to say, I'll definitely return promptly.

I stopped by Aba this past Monday for a dinner club / networking event and have to say it was a mixed bag. I believe it will be one for my "Placeholder" list. Our group was seated outside on the upper (2nd floor) event terrace with a lovely view of Bal Harbour, and from my seat I could even get a slight peek into the bay. The terrace has a retractable ceiling, but with the cold breeze that we were having Monday night the one over our table kept rolling back & making an annoying clatter. Speaking of cold, we're Miamians. Anything under 70 is freezing and the table I was wasn't one of the fortunate ones to get a heat lamp. At least they did provide some throws for a couple of the ladies. Service between courses, and even for extras, was a little on the slow side. One of my fellow diners had to go to the kitchen / bar area himself after waiting what he said was 20 minutes for a coffee. As far as food, the Greek salad and the dessert were the highlights. My salad was generously portioned with a yummy feta, a few varieties of tomatoes, and peppers. I loved it! With the subtle hints of black pepper along with the orange & fennel, the chocolate dessert was another of my favorites. Pleasantly surprising was the fact that the dessert portion seemed a little bigger than the mains, even for a family-style service. I passed on the beef & lamb kabobs, and instead chose the chicken ones. Although nicely seasoned & accompanied with veggies and rice, the chicken could have been a little juicier or with some sauce. I don't believe any of the zhoug sauce was passed to my table.

Home run lunch!! This would be a weekly visit if we lived in Miami. The food was so fresh and delicious. The ambiance and decor were amazing!! My Mocktail was one of the best I've had. I am going to dream about the whipped feta dip!!

I want to begin by stating this is my favorite brand of restaurants I've been to all 3 locations and had been to this one at least 10 times Last night I went for dinner Service was slow and chaotic and the food was so bad We ordered the tuna (cold) it came lukewarm and my friend sent it back Had the Greek salad which is a staple for me and it was missing ingredients that it normally has (at all locations) The hummus was good and the bread Finally the scallops that I believe are 25 dollars for 3 medium sized ones When I arrived home I got so sick I am sure it was the scallops because I didn't try the tuna. I called my friend today and she said she too got violently ill Did I call the restaurant? No. I don't think it would help because it was last night and I waited till I was strong enough to write this I want to add that unfortunately they have lost my business as well as my friend's. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement and thank God neither of us are old or the results of this could have been even worse

Aba is nestled nicely inside the mall which makes it a convenient location. The interior is decorated very nicely and has a modern Mediterranean vibe. We visited to try the Miami spice menu and it didn't disappoint. The portions were generous and by the time the mains came out we were already getting full. The servers were very attentive and came around often to check in on us. Will surely be back to try other dishes again.

We went to this place for an elegantly casual dinner while at the Bal Harbour mall. Needless to say, parking was super easy. The restaurant had nice ambient lighting and prompt service. We made reservations as I was told it can get busy. The food was delicious with a nice variety or Mediterranean options. The waiter seemed a bit stoic but the was attentive.

We came here for Miami Spice and it was a vibe as soon as you walked in! It's so cute inside with the fake trees, it made you feel like you were outside but with AC. The restaurant was aesthetically pleasing! We did the Miami spice brunch and got the peach biscuits (super yummy and not too sweet), it was crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. We started with the sweet corn hummus and it was delicious! I got the vegetable Frittata (it was good but nothing special) My friends got the short rib shakshouka dish and they said it was delicious. We also got cocktails to go with our meals. I got the frozen passion fruit margarita and it was so delicious!! All the drinks were yummy! Our server was amazing! She was also the bartender as well. We ended our meal with their infamous dessert bougatsa! You have to get it even if you are full! 10/10 recommend and will definitely return!

Spicy Lamb Ragu (braised lamb shoulder, harissa), $19

I have been to Aba four times now, and I love this place with all my heart, from the food to the service. Aba's dips are what keep me coming back. It's great food for groups of people, so you can share and try everything. My favorites are butternut squash hummus (I'm obsessed with this sweet autumn spiced goodness), whipped feta, and spicy lamb ragu hummus. And they bring amazing warm, seasoned pita bread for all mezzes. I also recommend coming here for brunch to try an incredible short rib Shakshuka (quite spicy and has a lot of meat) and the khachapuri full of cheese. The Bougatsa is now one of my favorite desserts ever! It's just magical! You can't tell by the picture, but it is MASSIVE, enough for four people at least. The presentation with the show is impressive. It has lots and lots of the most delicious velvety vanilla cream, thin, delicate phyllo pastry, fresh orange slices, and the crunchiest chunks of cinnamon streusel that explode with the flavor in your mouth, all topped with a drizzle of orange blossom syrup. This combination is forever in my heart. The service here is always top-notch. One time the waiter overheard us and brought a dish we didn't order. Not only did he apologize, but he left us a dish with no charge. They brought a complimentary cake with a candle for me because my boyfriend mentioned in the reservation that it was my birthday. Also, all the staff were saying happy birthday to me. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. What I love is that this place is so cozy and simple. No fancy schmancy rules here - you can casually come to eat without dressing up and have amazing food for a fair price.
