When I politely went back to ask another employee for help, he simply pointed toward an aisle and turned his back on me. When I mentioned that the service wasn't very helpful, the situation got worse and I was treated very disrespectfully and asked to leave the store. The equipment was clean upon pick up and the outside staff assisted me in loading into my SUV. All the staff was friendly & very helpful and knowledgeable. I would like to recognize Jacob for his excellent customer service! I had a situation arise with the equipment I rented and Jacob went above and beyond to help me helping me correct the issue. He was very nice. So much that we went and bought paint from him. He told us he would be at another O-gee location and we went to see him because he was so helpful. Gabriel gave me a tour of the inventory and taught me about their process - all bricks are hand selected from buildings in Chicago from 1855 to 1974 when the process became too expensive to continue manufacturing. All of their bricks were exceptional and have to meet their exceptional quality standards. After seeing the product it was a no-brainer this was where my fiancé and I would be purchasing for our exterior patio & pool deck remodel! After checking out the inventory, Gabriel and I then headed to his office and he was able to provide an invoice including shipping in less than 15 minutes. (My fiancé later checked other prices online to compare and Gabriel's price was a great deal for the quality of brick we're getting.) After agreeing to the amount and sending off the invoice via email to my fiancé, Gabriel and I went to the back and he helped me pick out specific pallets for our project and to initial all of the ones I wanted. He was super helpful informing me which bricks came from the same buildings and which pallets were going to be in keeping with the overall color scheme that I wanted. To say that shopping for bricks was something that felt daunting to me was an understatement considering the size of our project and the cost, but Gabriel and his wife made the entire experience so enjoyable and memorable. Their professionalism was present during the entire process. From discussing the project with Juan to setting up the process with July Cruz, who was always on target and in communication with me, was top notch. The crew worked an entire day until my new flat roof was completed. Everything was cleaned immediately and no mess was left. The crew is friendly and the foreman gave me feedback from time to time. The next day, Mauricio and a couple of workers waited about 6 or 7 hours for the inspector to arrive and sign off. I truly recommend Canopy. All paperwork was provided to me timely. The cost was within a couple of hundreds more from the other companies I consulted, but the quality and value for my money was another plus by choosing Canopy.
