The service was quick and easy for this set it was 55$ with a 5$ tip for acrylic. He was very professional and got it done in about 45 minutes. They're very sleek and long lasting. As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable and taken care of. Absolutely will visit again for halloween .

All of my clients were raving about this place so I had to try. Amazing staff very friendly and amazing work. Attention to detail and takes their time to get it right. Will continue to be a repeat client.

Two years later, and I continue to go to Kool Nails and Alexis (I believe that's her name that's what I've heard her be called) continues to do my nails when I walk in! As you scroll through yelp you may notice I posted two years ago and the nails I got done then are done by the same woman who does my nails now! :) I continue to be satisfied with their services! I WILL TRY TO POST MORE PICS OF PAST NAILS IN THE COMMENTS THAT SHE'S DONE FOR ME IN THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS! This set was an acrylic fill with gel polish cost $35-$40 normally today I paid $35 w/$10 tip cause she's great!

I have had my nails done at this salon since they opened. They do a wonderful job! The staff is friendly and the shop is very clean. The owners are kind and welcoming. I started having the powder dip manicure several years ago and my nails are much healthier than they used to be. They have a wide variety of colors and are usually very good about creating the design you are looking for.

They made me feel very safe here and did a fantastic job on my nails! As soon as i walked through the door they provided hand sanitizer and took my temperature. Checking in was so easy too. The guy that did my nails was super nice and walked me through all of the steps of what he was doing and made great conversation. He also made sure to double check with me on the length. shape, and colors to make sure he was doing everything right. I also saw that they have all of their technicians licenses displayed so you know they all had proper training. They even have an atm in the store so it makes it easier to pay and leave a tip! definitely my go to nail place in Pullman!

Have gotten a few pedicures here in the last three years, and it's the best place in town. Always appreciate the effort they put into making my toes look superb, and it's very relaxing, too. Cost isn't too bad, either, although I guess it depends on what services you get. No complaints here, and I am planning on going again soon!

I go here frequently to get my acrylics done and have only once been slightly dissatisfied. The younger girl who works here did an awesome job and was honest. i misunderstood the price she told me And she made sure I got my change back! I thought she told me it was $45 and I handed her 50 and told her to keep the five. She ran after me and gave me the extra 10! very honest of her to do because some places don't have a problem pocketing the extra. Great experience. This shop does get busy so I recommend making an appointment ahead of time.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from a nail salon on pullman but the woman who did my nails did so well! They turned out so nice and she did the relatively quickly as well! The only thing was that she wasn't very nice but she wasn't mean at all she just seemed like she wanted to get my nails done and over with quickly and didn't seem to want to make any conversation which honestly doesn't bother me but if that type of thing bothers you just keep it in mind. the only other thing would have to be that i wish she was a little more gentle on my cuticles bc they were WRECKED afterward but honestly seeing how nice my nails turned out i think it's a fair trade off!

So it's hard for me to write a review like this because I normally really love getting my nails done here. There is a girl that normally does my nails and she's amazing/careful/considerate. She was unavailable when I arrived. So I had to get my nails done by a girl who was available which I didn't mind because every other time I've gone I've had no problem here, so there was a sense of trust. This last time was horrible though. To start, before I could even pick a color, I was being forced to give my hands to the girl doing my nails. Being non-confrontational, I was fine with it and figured that I could pick a color after. Then the color picker was taken from me and I expressed that I would still need to pick one, then I was told I only needed one hand to do that. I disagreed because I like to flip through them with both hands and hold on to the ones I like while flipping through it. She let go of my hand and said that I could just pick one. I have anxiety in social situations, but I forced myself to make a quick decision because I felt that I was annoying the nail technician. She started doing my nails and everything was great, she was easy to talk to which was nice. The problem is that when using the dremel and nail file she was also grinding the area where my cuticles/skin were, when she got to the sides of my nails it started to really hurt and I expressed that it was getting sensitive, this was me trying to tell her that it was hurting me. She was careful with that nail for a bit and then it seemed like she would forget that it was hurting and be more forceful again. As she got to the end of using the dremel and nail files, she broke through to my nail bed on my pinky. I tried to make it apparent without being rude that she was hurting me, yet she continued to file and use the dremel in that location. When I was finally done, my nails were in pain and I went to go wash my hands and they were also bleeding. I'm really disappointed because this was my favorite place to go but if they can't be careful not to hurt you it isn't worth the money. You pay a lot to get this luxury service done for you so there is an expected amount of professionalism that should always be present, I should not feel rushed before I have even been in the building for 5 minutes, I should not have to tell you multiple times that you are hurting me for you to stop. I should NEVER be bleeding when I leave. Very disappointed.

Awful... I don't know what else to say. I'm a college student here at WSU. So I decide to come here. I was greeted and got sat right away. The nail guy was kind. But my nails are awful. He had to do my left had at least 4 times. He tried to just to just paint over it and call it good but they looked so bad. So he would he redo it and then mess up another nail. On top of that, I've been here for almost two hours . I feel very rushed out. He would keep painting over my nails even tho they weren't dry . Now, the paint is wrinkled cuz the extra amount of paint. This was just an awful experience.

I took my niece for her very first mani, pedi and she was treated so well, it was fun to watch her reaction and happiness. I sat beside her and my feet soaked for half an hour before my pedicurist showed up. I had to file my own nails when I got home, he did not bother to massage my feet, just a couple swipes of lotion on my legs, did not bother to put toe separators on and my polish is smudged, he did not bother to push the cuticles down on my nails. At the rate he was going, I opted to have clear on my hands because I did not trust the outcome. I have had many, many mani/pedis and he was LAZY! Even though my appointment started half an hour later than my niece, I was finished 30-40 first.It was SO disappointing. "son-in-law" gave my niece the best service. Kind, professional, and her mani/pedi looked great. read more

Went in today with my wife for pedicures. They did a great job. This is hands down the best leg massage I've ever gotten during a pedicure. My feet look great, they took their time and made sure everything was perfect. 10/10 will totally be making this where we go for manicures and pedicures. read more

I've been to Nail Art Spa and Hollywood Nails but this salon has been my favorite by far. Just from my first visit here I absolutely love it! They shaped my nails exactly how I wanted, and even though they couldn't exactly do a french ombré like I wanted, they worked hard and came very very close to achieve the look :) Will definitely come back! read more

Absolutely the worst set of acrylics I have had... the guy who did my nails was so rough with my nails and sliced me MULTIPLE times. He left chunks of acrylic and glue underneath my nails and the gel paint job he did was sloppy. As you can see in the pictures, my nails overall look pretty nice, but you can see on the right side of each nail where he cut me. Would not recommend. read more

So overdue with this review but I had to just say...Amazing! I came in without an appointment and had not even adjusted from outside when I was greeted and asked how I could be helped. I came in for a full set of acrylics and I had just picked out my color when I was seated and a gentlemen started on my nails. They were perfect. Absolutely gorgeous and so strong. I was showing them off to everyone who would look. They lasted over two weeks before I broke one off accidentally. I will definitely be going back to get it fixed. read more

I made a reservation for a manicure and pedicure, timely in their appts. I asked about a toe nail that was still ridged, gets caught on my sock, she looked at it, didn't do anything about it. I got a natural nail manicure with regular polish and was happy with the service provided. Tony asked me if I was happy with every nail shape and was very attentive to my needs. I was extremely happy with the end result but am sad it only lasted a day:( I noticed my first chip on my pinky nail--I usually never get chips on this finger. Update: every finger has a chip on it and it is only day 2. I don't do any hard labor and wear gloves whenever I do dishes. Sad to say it didn't last read more

With an appointment I wanted 20 mins. When I asked how much longer I was told another 10 or more. Maybe that's how you run your business. Well, not for long if you continue to treat new customers. My recommendation is to try another salon. read more

Just had a deluxe pedicure and a manicure and was very pleased! I have a problem nail that usually ends up 'ingrown' and Wook is the first nail tech in this area to give me some relief! Customer service was fantastic, services reasonably priced... the whole experience was great - definitely going to come back again! read more

This is the best salon in/around Pullman, but my last experience was pretty terrible. I waited two hours to get my nails done which is pretty average right before the weekend so I didn't really mind, but then I broke two nails a few hours later opening my car door, then a couple of days later I broke a third zipping a suitcase. They all broke so bad down the quick that it drew blood. Three nails should not break within a week just doing simple tasks, especially for the $55 I paid! I'm not sure if they were just done too thin or what. I haven't had time to go in because I was out of town for the weekend and I wouldn't even be able to get them done anyway because my fingers are so sore from breaking them. Overall I'm frustrated because my nails look absolutely terrible and if they would have been done better I wouldn't have broken three. :( read more

I am very disappointed in the quality of my nails. I asked for a color change on acrylics and she didn't take all of the previous color off which was a bright blue and I had chosen an almond color as my new color. She rushed painting my nails and didn't grind them enough so they turned out lumpy. She proceeded to dry them in the light and AFTER drying them, she filed the sides exposing the blue under and making the sides look rough. read more

I'm really disappointed by the way my nails turned out. I told the lady who was doing my nails multiple times that I want them cut and that one of my nails is already broken. She didn't trim them until she was done with my nails and she only filled them. She also told me that I wouldn't notice the broken nail. It's only been 3 days with my nails and the nail that was broken has now been completely broken in half. I was also not informed that they only took cash until I was ready to pay. I had scramble cash together and ended up having to borrow from my friend since I don't carry much cash with me. Seems a little sketchy to only take cash. read more

I called four months prior to the appointment as we had a wedding party of six. We showed up right on time for the appointment and they only had two technicians available for our group of six. We waited forty minutes and they were still completing manicures for the first two girls. We finally left as there was no way they would be able to do 6 girls for mani pedis without us being there for multiple hours. Only three end of the girls ended up getting manicures and we left and now have to complete the pedicures on our own. If you're one person it may be okay, but this place is AWFUL for large groups. read more

I brought my sister-in-law here for a pre-baby pampering session (she's due with her sixth baby in 11 days). I liked the atmosphere when we walked in - it was clean and comfortable, especially when you consider it was 96 degrees outside! We were greeted immediately and seated for spa pedicures within a couple of minutes. The techs didn't talk to us very much during the pedicures but that didn't bother me. They were respectful and had limited conversations with the other techs who were also working at the time. I rated the salon 4/5 stars because the salon charges for anything other than cash (surcharge on the ATM or $1 transaction fee for using a debit card). I would definitely come back again - my pedicure looks great! read more

First got SNS in Atlanta a few weeks ago and was trying to find a shop in the Moscow/Pullman area who did them... and had more than 3 stars overall for customer reviews. I had an appointment and showed up on time (even a bit early) I waited an hour before being taken back, and ended up waiting even longer before being taken care of. I was there for three hours for a full set and a pedi. Other people getting the same thing came in after me and left before me. I'm not sure making an appointment makes any difference to them. My nails are okay but a few are crooked. Overall I wish I would have gone somewhere else. read more

So knowing that my mom and I came during moms weekend I knew there would be a little bit of a wait, so that was not an issue. The issue is that we both got a deluxe pedi the guy who did mine started after the lady started my mom and I was finished first. Also my feet needed to have the callouses scrubbed down to nothing and the heels of my feet are still as hard as they were when I came in. The guy was also not talkative at all hardly said 2 words to me or even looked at me while I was being done. It was not worth the $35 each price we had to pay.... read more

HORRIBLE experience. I paid for a $45 manicure and he literally painted my nails. Didn't soak my hands, trim my cuticles, trim down my nails, he only shamed me for my nails not being longer in the first place. He didn't even clean the dirt out from under my fingernails. I'LL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE! IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! read more

Wow! I called on a Sunday afternoon about 30 minutes before closing & they told me to come in. I barely had enough time to pick a colour, before they were ready for me. Lovely manicurist & a great job. She made me sit under the dryers even though the salon had technically closed. Loved my nails and the next time I'm in Pullman, will definitely go back. read more

Second time coming here and first time at their new location. I've really enjoyed my experience both times. They take care to make sure all parts of your nails are painted, these are definitely not rush jobs! They also listen when you ask them to do something or change something (shape or length of nail). They have three different spa pedicure options, I've done the basic and deluxe and they've been great! Manicures are a bit less exciting than pedicures here, but that's not a big deal for me. The biggest challenge is that they do take a while. When they're busy, you may be waiting 30 mins (even with an appointment). And because they do manicures separate from pedicures (you won't get both done at the same time) plan for an extra amount of time. Again, I still love this place and it's definitely going to be my go-to nail salon in Pullman. read more

Terrible gel manicure. Dirty stations. Felt like they were trying to go as fast as possible and cut corners. Expensive for a bad gel manicure that I'll need to have redone in a week. Waste of time and money. read more

It's been hit and miss. My current nails are perfect and were done by Tony who takes the time to actually make sure they match and are to your liking. Every women who has done my nails has rushed and made me feel like I was taking up all of their time even if there wasn't anyone waiting. Best place in Pullman for nails however. read more

We came in and they said they couldn't get us in until 3:30. We came in for our appointed and waited over an hour to get our nails done. If you're planning on booking an appointment here, don't expect them to honor what time they say the can get you in. This has happened to me at least 3 times now and is very frustrating. What's the point of booking an appointment if they don't get you in when they say? read more

After every round of thinning and snipping and thinning and snipping, she kept saying, "now that looks a little better" or "I'm starting to like that more." The bottom layer of my hair is thinned so much it is practically gone, taking away so many options for a redemption haircut that could look anything similar to the reference. She obliterated my bangs, they are so small and the same length as the top layer of hair she cut. Somehow even though I spent the whole appointment telling her "please don't make my hair round", "I hate round hair." "My hair does not look good rounded" it somehow got rounder and rounder with every cut. When she was done she said it "looks like that because it's not styled" and proceeded to hot iron it and try to give it style. It was still awful and she knew that. She tried to put gel in it and it did not help at all. Then she said the issue was that she "blow dried it with a round brush" and that we should wash it again and give it a more natural dry so it "looks more like the picture" the after photos I have attached are with that natural dry. At the very end as I was leaving she told me to wait and that she "missed a part" and went in for at least 5 more snips at the back before I said I had to go. I left crying and went to another salon to see what could be done to salvage it and they audibly gasped when they saw how uneven the hair was and recommended I reach out to the owner because this was "not okay." When I emailed poppy with these pictures asking for a refund, they said the best they could do was Caitlyn offer me a "complementary second cut to fix up some areas I'm unhappy with" and claimed my hair couldn't possibly look like the reference and it would if it was styled. She tried to style it and it only made it worse. She will not be touching my hair again. I have had bobs like that before, I KNOW my hair is not unable to look like that and that this reference picture was very obtainable for my hair type and length. 65$ more poor and I look like a coconut. My birthday is in 5 days and I cannot look in the mirror. UPDATE: When I spoke with the owner of poppy, Rach, she was incredibly accommodating and understanding. She got me in ASAP for an appointment with her and fixed my hair up. I loved that she stopped every step of the way to talk about what I thought. I was also given a conditioning treatment in addition to her fixing my hair up. She worked hard to make everything right. Rach was fantastic and I am MUCH more into my hair now!

I told her that was not my fault, you posted a certain amount in print and they need to honor that price. I told her that was very close to a 'bait and switch' scheme with is a crime. She asked me if I wanted to speak to a .manager and I said yes. The manager said that was the old price as things have gone up and I said that was not my fault, it is advertised as $71. She said it begins at that price, ( a lie) more hair, more expensive. My hair is a little past my chin not enough to warrant another $54 dollars. Then she tried putting on a guilt trip by asking me 'Don't you think your stylist time is worth the the price? I didn't entertain that question but kept trying to get the conversation back to the price on the website. She began to see I was not going to pay that amount so she said what would you be willing to pay? I couldn't remember for sure that the price quoted on the website didn't say 'starting as' so I told her I would be willing to pay $80 maybe $90 plus a tip for the stylist. She of course took the $90 and a $10 tip. We went back and forth for 20 minutes, something I've never done before. This was wrong!! She lied to my face and tried to make me out as the bad guy when she is cheating and lying. When I got back home and looked again at the website, It did indeed say FULL not starting at. I will never go back there. BEWARE,

During her appointment, the technician doing her pedicure apparently forgot that she was also scheduled for a manicure. When he realized it, he became visibly frustrated, started working on her nails himself, and then abruptly pushed her off to another employee. Unfortunately, the service only got worse from there. The manicure was rushed, sloppy, and unprofessional. The polish application is uneven, messy around the edges, and looks nothing like what I would expect from a professional salon. Even more concerning, multiple fingers were cut during the process, causing bleeding around the cuticles. A manicure should never leave a customer bleeding. The lack of care and attention to detail was shocking. Looking at her nails afterward, it was clear that proper cuticle care and polish application techniques were not followed. Extremely disorganized and careless from start to finish. Between the scheduling mix-up, the technician's attitude, being passed from one person to another, the poor quality of the manicure, and the cuts around her nails. What makes this even more upsetting is that my daughter rarely gets her nails done and was excited to have them done for our Hawaiian vacation. Instead of leaving with a positive experience, she left with sore, bleeding fingers. I only wish I had been there to stand up for her and address the situation in the moment. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.
