They said that they could take off my gel x no problem. I then had them ripped off painfully and criticized for getting gel x. My nails were drilled so far down blood started showing. I was nicked under my nail and I had to pull away. The nails they put on were horrible and when I got home I was in so much pain I had to remove them. My natural nails are completely destroyed and hurt. I wish I could get a refund but unfortunately they make you pay in cash and I will not be around. read more

They aren't even worth one star, but if I could give them 0 stars that would be even more than they deserve. They hurt my nails every time she used the Dremel and then got an attitude when I pulled my hand back every time she hurt me. I will never go back! I normally don't leave a review but I am super sad about the nails I received and after how I was treated during the appointment, I don't feel comfortable going back in to ask them to fix anything. As it was my first time here, I made a request based on specifics about my hands. What had already been a mildly uncomfortable appointment of silence became degrees more uncomfortable. Additionally, I was clear I wanted oval shaped nails and now my nails look like pointy circles, with more than one pointing in weird directions. With no prices posted anywhere, it was really sad to spend $55 dollars for a set with no design that I really don't like. I definitely recommend preparing to kindly and respectfully advocate for what you want or don't like (because you are paying for a service!!) if you chose to go here. I do not recommend this nail salon. I've been to all the nail salons in the Palouse and while none of them are great, this place has to be the worst. They are very rough and are not careful when removing gel nail polish which results in damage and even broken nails. After having gel nails for 2 days, my nails are already cracking which has broken my real nails. Service is okay but they do not always do what you ask them to. I went here because I was at Cafe Moro and this was in walking distance. They did a great job on my pedicure, the chair was very comforable and the massage was great. The problem was when I went to pay. They told me the total was $25 and I pulled out my credit card to pay. They told me I couldn't use it. Then I tried my debit card, same thing. It was hard to understand but I finally gathered that the only person who knew how to use the machine was not there. Ok, how about a check? That would have worked if I had a local Pullman bank. I live in the Tacoma area I have a local area bank and they would not accept a check from my bank. Now what? They kindly told me there was a Chase bank across the street and I could use the cash machine. Seriously?!? As I left the woman teared up and practically begged me to come back. I went to the ATM got out my money (for a $3 fee), went into the bank to make sure I had exact change and went back to the salon. I gave them $25, told them normally I would tip but I had to walk to the ATM and then it charged me! The ladies were very nice but what a hassle! read more

It's been years since I've had a manicure (my last one was done in California). My friend decided to get a simple mani-pedi for $40 which she loved it! I chose to get a complicated manicure with acrylic nails. I know it was more complicated because it took longer to do my nails than to do a man-pedi. It would not have taken that long if I excluded the chevron design. In fact, I was surprised they agreed to do it in the first place. The manicurist had to delicately paint each of the zig-zags one-by-one. She did a fantastic job too! I've received so many compliments! However, the salon is very quiet and there no music whatsoever. The employees don't converse, but apparently that's normal. I guess I'm just used to a different atmosphere. Also, the manicurist forgot to remove excess paint from my fingers and the edges of my nails. This wasn't too much of an issue since I have nail polish remover at home. It's something to keep in mind though. The overall service was good especially toward the end. Both manicurists helped me put on my coat and purse. They really didn't want me to mess up these nails! Plus, they wished us both a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year which was unexpected because no one said a word to either of us prior to that (hour an half service). read more

After my manicure I noticed the fake nail wasn't glued on my actual nail tip, but farther back, so now there is a gap for things (and bacteria) to get trapped between the two. The second time I came here was to take my acrylics off (all the other nail salons were closed so I had no choice). Came here because I had an old shellac manicure on that was driving me nuts and I needed to have it taken off. I know you CAN do it at home, but it is always faster and easier if a nail tech does it with their tools and I don't mind paying a small fee for that. The place is dated and doesn't seem very clean. There was one woman staffing it when I walked in. I asked if she could take the polish off for me; I could see she was with a client getting a pedicure and expected she might ask me to wait or come back. To my surprise, she said she could do it. She asked if I got the manicure done there, and became quite cross when I said no. I'm from the west side and JUST relocated here; I got it done over there. She had me soak my fingers in straight acetone for what seemed like forever, flitting back and forth between the other client and me. Finally, once my fingers looked like white prunes, she came over and proceeded to use a buffing tool to remove the polish - leaving her other client hanging for quite a while in the process. She skidded off my nails several times, 'buffing' my flesh which does cause minor pain. She also left tons of fine scratches all over the surface of my nails - they now look dull. At the end, she charged me $10 for the service. Seemed fair to me, but I wouldn't go back for any other services. read more

Basically you get what you pay for (not always a bad thing). I paid 35$ for a mani/pedi which took about an hour. They had nice massaging chairs, a foot bath and for the mani gave me a wrap. They spent a good amount of time massaging my hands and feet. Conversation was difficult because none of the workers spoke very good English. read more

They do not clean their tools and swap between customers mid drilling. They demand you pay in cash AFTER you are done getting your nails done. And tell different customers different amounts of "mandatory fees for using cards". I called them out about the fact he told the customer before me a different amount of fee charge and he panicked and gave me what he gave them. read more
