But going inside is something totally amazing. There is sooo much to look at & it's very well arranged. Not your typical consignment store, but very well displayed. Staff are great & helpful, a Mom & daughter team. Elaine (Mom) also perform chalk paint miracles bringing old furniture back to life. You could go several times & still see things you didn't before. Consignors bring different items all the time. Prices are good & will work with you, even have layaway. Both stores across from each other are a good experience to go & shop & visit. I forget if it includes used books. But they are great deals. This is a Christian / religious / spiritual / inspirational bookstore. They have Bibles and a lot more. Included are children's books and children's activity stuff that you find in bookstores. Includes some books-on-tape, books-on-cd. Most books are on big pieces of plywood supported by saw-horses, so it's kind of a warehouse deal. If you shop at one store, you get a discount coupon for the other store. It goes both ways, so don't buy everything on one stop, go next door, use your coupon there, get another coupon, and come back here to finish up. If you're a book-lover or a fan of independent bookstores, you owe it to yourself to stop and browse if you are driving by on I-75. It's just 1/2 block from the Interstate highway. The other store has secular books: fiction, non-fiction, computer, children's etc. I was last here in November 2009.

One by one, they are all poo-pooed, whether it be for fit, transparency, a flaw, defect, or hole, general lack of quality. Sometimes, I'll find something that fits, looks good, and doesn't look or feel like it's going to fall apart the second time I wear it. So I buy it. Sometimes, I wind up with several things that meet this criteria yet I just don't feel that owning them is worth the hassle of going through the checkout. And this is no slight against the checkout process or the employees. That bit's fine. The clothes just aren't worth it sometimes. And don't get me started on the damn shoes. Worst. Organization. EVER. Yes, this is probably due to customers being inconsiderate assholes, but there's not even an ATTEMPT at organizing the clearance shoes. Have YOU ever tried to shop for shoes by guessing which ones are your size just by looking at them in the box? Why can't the clearance shoes just stay with their same-size brethren, colored dot in place, and skip that whole migraine-inducing process.

There was free parking on the street within 100', There are 4 different seating areas each with their own distinct charm and design. A nice sized humidor with many of the standard fare. The hostess/bartender was friendly and helpful. It has all the charm and ambience of a good cigar lounge. Free Wi-Fi as well. The only suggestion I could make was additional ingredients to make an Old Fashioned. I love a good one with my cigar but settled for a shot of whiskey instead.
