My first purchase at this dealership and the sales associate was spot on. Made me feel absolutely confident and wonderful about my purchase. However, it appears he left the dealership to pursue other opportunities. Since buying my vehicle, on my first visit back to the dealership for first vehicle maintenance. My vehicle was completed and brought out to the front. I was unaware of the cash out process and advised the cashier that my vehicle was completed, was just parked in front and that I am present to pay and go. The cashier's response was not very friendly as she made eye contact and stated "you need to wait until I get paperwork, have a seat." Then began talking to the next customer in line. After about 3-5 minutes she called me back up and stated, "there is no paperwork for your vehicle, you are all set!" Recent visit- 2015 Vehicle - Engine Light on: Made an appointment one week ahead and dropped my vehicle off the night prior. Was told, because I made an appointment, that my vehicle would be one of the first to be looked at and completed in the morning. Called service around noon to check the status and was told it has not been looked at yet. Service rep went on to state that there are 20 vehicles in line before my vehicle. Received a call at approximately 330pm from service rep. stating that due to the stop/start battery losing some power, that it is the reason why the engine light is appearing. Since said vehicle is only 2 years old and covered under "Certified Preowned." I asked service rep if it was covered. He stated, "no." That in fact it will cost $XYZ.XX and will be done the following day and will call once it's finished, "if I want to pick it up." Once voicing my understanding of the coverage. Service Rep stated that batteries typically last 4-6 years... it was at that time, I advised him that my vehicle is only 2 years old. He stated, "if you were the original owner, maybe you could've gotten it covered." I then again voiced my understanding of the coverage and it was then that the tone in his voice was perceived as becoming aggressive. This was my experience and I may be taking my vehicle and my business to another Chevrolet dealership from now on. read more

Leaving state for a trip to see 92 year old mother, my engin light came on about 20 from home. Called Kool dealership and explained my problem to servie (Terry, I think). She was very nice and told me I could bring my Chevy Impalla right in be and told her I would be there in 40 minutes or so, which it would take me to get there from the point I was currently at. I was expecting to bring car in the following week for tire rotation and oil change as it was. When I got there Terry had someone check out why the light had come on and told me they need to order a part and it would take about 2 hrs before the part was in; during which time they could do the oil change and rotate tires and save me another trip in the following week. ( I do not live in GR ) Also she informed me the car was still under warrentee and the only cost to me would be for the oil change and tire rotation. She also offered to have someone take me to my daughters home a few blocks away. During all this I had my little dog, Bell, with me and everyone was very kind to both of us. When car was done, a few hours later, she called me on my cell to let me know car was ready and I could pick it up and be on my way. At this time I told her I had a coupon for a car warsh and she said she would have it done by the time I got back to the dealership. The employees at Kool are not only cool but very kind and helpful making one feel they are there to be solely of service for the customer and are very pleased to do so. I was approached by a shop employee in a way that made it seem like I didn't know what I was talking about. He asked me about my tire pressure being low, pointed it out that my light was on, which I was already aware of, and said that it needed to be addressed. I knew it needed to be addressed and requested tire pressure/rotation during my service appointment set up. His demeanor and attitude made it seem like I wasn't aware of what he was talking about. When I was in the waiting room, a different employee came in, announced that he was looking for my name, then proceeded to update me with repair information/costs in front of the other waiting customers. I would have preferred to discuss it more discreetly. Because of my additional repair needed, my wait time was 30 minutes beyond what I was told at the start, but I was not updated with a new wait time. Lastly, when I was checking out, I thought my services were free for two years after purchasing the vehicle from Kool but it turns out there was a mileage clause that I was not aware of, and that I barely made it within during my last appointment. I was not told after my last appointment, that I didn't have any free ones left so I was disappointed to be given a high bill. The clerk at the desk was helpful though, and directed me to see if I at least had coupons in my glove compartment from when I purchased the vehicle, which I thankfully did. read more

I have purchase two vehicles from Kool and found them to be honest and upfront. I think what has kept me going back has been the service. It is difficult to find a business that consistently performs and tries to make your requests their goal. Kool's service department is Cool. They have maintained a high level of service even when the economic times may say to take short-cuts to maximize profits. I bought a used 2018 Ford Edge in December 2025. Outside looked great and no problem during short test drive. Dealer was "letting this well maintained car go for a fast sell just because it wasn't a Chevy". First problem occurred after two weeks. Cost $500 for a MAF sensor after it threw a check engine light. In January 2026 I had to get the radiator flushed after another light. Three days ago the engine started knocking and it looks like it's going to be a bad flywheel. That's going to run $2000 - $3000 dollars. Please beware their used selections. read more

Poor communication between salespeople. Don't try to hook up your wifi with onstar, because their wifi at Kool is laughably nonexistent, Also, I'm think my new car's mileage was tampered with. It had more miles on it after test drive than when we picked it up. SAD. read more
