Easily one of the best things we ate on this trip. The ribs are lightly battered, yet is still fall-off-the-bone tender, and the sauce is addictive 4/5 wagyu carpaccio - the beef was tender and paired perfectly with the yuzu. Not bad, but I've had similar dishes before. 3.5/5 Toro tartare - the presentation with the different sauces was unique, but I've never had tartare that was blended into a pulp before. The toro was also a little fishy. 2/5 hamachi / yellowtail entree - it was battered and pan-fried hamachi. Nothing special or memorable. 3.5/5 ginger beer (not pictured) - was pretty light in flavor, but I liked that it had a homemade quality to it. It was nice and refreshing with the meal. One of the rolls had shrimp tempura inside and the shrimp tempura tasted like it was old and has been sitting out for a while before being used. It was soggy, no crunchy at all.
