The short and sweet version in case you do not wish to read my book…read more.. I was disappointed in the care and the cleanliness of the office. The staff was friendly and tried their best as they are always busy. I do appreciate that. I also will give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Lacey ( front desk ) she knows her stuff. She is friendly and always make you feel comfortable about your care. She is the best part of this practice and deserves a raise with how much she does. If you want full details, please continue. I wish I could say I had a good experience with them. I have terrible dental anxiety. I was given extra attention to this at the beginning and slowly it started to be, " no longer offer that service or meds etc." I had 2 cracked teeth that didn't hurt too bad prior to going in and was told I needed fillings. I got them both filled but had to have adjustments over 4 times over a month do " get the right." This process was painful and slow. After 4 appointments I was told they both needed to be root canals. I was told this would a quick and painless process. It was neither of these. I asked multiple times of alternative numbing options as it is not effective for the 2 first times, I completed the filling. I was ignored and told it would be much longer. During all of these visits the machines were down, I was always in longer than 2 hours for each appt even if I was told it will be 45- 1 hour. During one of the procedures where they made a crown the tech dropped it in the trash can on accident (no biggie if he cleaned it). He did not know think I saw it as I was laying the other way. He put it back on the tray without cleaning it. I addressed it immediately. This was with the doctor in the room who also seemed to be okay without him sterilizing the crown before putting it back on the tray with all the other tools or in my mouth... EW. Once addressed said "Oh yes of course we will sterilize it again." however, felt very shady... I am okay to wait for providers and always appreciate their time however this was a constant and was frustrating. Not to mention that I was there 10 times between 2/2025 - 4/2025.... That is a lot of missed work and time to spend on 2 teeth... I would try somewhere else unless there is a huge change in their practice. Also understand that your teeth are covered for them to fix so that is why we keep returning. Just bummed it was my first experience in the metro area.

Went in to get a new bridge. They did a root canal and placed a new bridge. Went back with pain, I…read morehad an infection due to a broken root where the root canal was done. (Was not broken before root canal) then did an extraction and bone graph (because the infection caused deterioration) the temporaries they put on my roots were uncomfortable and fell out right away. 4000 dollars!!!!!! They acted like they were doing me a favor. I'm getting my new bridge next month and I'll NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!! their incompetence caused me months of pain and suffering. They never did anything right the first time. Not to mention time lost at work going back over and over again. Don't go there unless your a rich masochist (if you like paying for suffering)

I went to Dr. Kostas at the suggestion of my dentist after my jaw prosthetic (aka an "implant…read moresupported denture") cracked and broke in November. I have a jaw prosthetic for teeth #4-#8, status post a jaw and cheek bone resection in 2013 for a neoplasm of uncertain behavior (two different pathologists were unable to determine if it was benign or malignant, therefore it was treated as if it would act malignant). Dr. Kostas said that he would be able to remake the prosthetic and I was very anxious to get started. The broken prosthetic could not be fixed due to the extent and location of the damage. It was affecting my bite and it was expected to keep cracking, therefore we got started right away. I appreciated that we were able to jump right in. I asked if the re-make could be expedited since I would have to be without my prosthetic, basically 25% of my mouth, and could not eat or speak properly. I felt that if any case could ever be "rushed", it would be this one. Dr. K. agreed to request this from the lab. I got a call a week in and was told that it would be another 3 weeks. I was very upset and asked if it could please be any faster as I had very poor function without it. They were able to get it back the following week for me. When I went in to the office to get the piece seated, I was cautiously optimistic. I understand that this is a man made piece being put into a natural structure. I also understand that my case is not an easy or straight forward one. The new prosthetic fit very well, was very comfortable, and functioned like a dream. However, the prosthetic teeth were larger and more square than my natural teeth. I was mostly bothered by the look of prosthetic teeth #7 & #8 (the front right tooth and the tooth to the right of it). It wasn't a big deal if the other 3 prosthetic teeth were slightly larger as they are molars and not very visible with my smile. It is worth mentioning that my friends and family were able to see what I was talking about, however they did not feel like the difference was big enough that someone who didn't know what I have gone through would notice. When you have been through this kind of trauma with your jaw/face as a young woman, every detail matters. I let Dr. K. know my concerns and we went over some options. Because the piece fit and functioned so well, I did not want to take it out again. Instead I decided that I wanted to put a veneer on my natural tooth #10 as this tooth needs a composite build up and has to be redone every 3 years or so anyway (with the veneer I should not have to deal with this again for many years to come). Dr. K helped me to make this happen and now the tooth is a much better match to the opposite prosthetic tooth. We also did a Zoom whitening treatment in his office which made my teeth look flawlessly white and made all of the teeth, prosthetic and natural, really flow together. Side note- Zoom is the ONLY way to go for teeth whitening. I have done just about all of them and nothing compares to the Zoom. 3 months after breaking my original piece, I am finally done and have retainers and night guards to fit all of the new bits & pieces. I am happy with the results, my teeth actually look better than they ever have (pic attached, it is a selfie so it is opposite/mirror reflection). I did get a superficial chip in prosthetic tooth #6, but Dr. K was able to repair it. The prosthetic tooth may have been just a hair too long because it broke while I was chewing and it hit the bottom tooth. Again, it is a man made piece in a natural structure. If the small chip causes any problems in the future we will visit options from there. As patients, it is our responsibility to communicate our needs and concerns with the provider and be advocates for ourselves. I feel that Dr. K. wants his patients to be happy with their results and will work with you while you get through your journey. Thanks to all who were involved in my care with this!
