Second, I get to the door and they said to text somebody to let you in. Nobody replies to me and some random dude let me in, so sketchy. Now when I showed up I kept asking if they took my insurance and they didn't confirm. MULTIPLE TIMES they wouldn't tell me if they'd take my insurance. They didn't tell me anything until after they took the x ray. Also? They didn't even address the problems going in my mouth, I had to. I came in because I had popped a filling on a root canal and cracked the tooth and my primary dentist couldn't fit me in that week. These bitches quoted me $8k for a removal and a crown. Hello ?? I'd rather lose a damn tooth than pay a down payment on a car. I went to my primary dentist this week and got that shit FIXED under 30 minutes and it was $18. Anyways long story short, this place is weird as hell and you're better off literally anywhere else. I called my insurance day of the visit and they basically confirmed that these mfs didn't cough up the coverage numbers correctly. I filed a claim with my bank to dispute that exam fee and got my money back, and I advise yall to do the same if you end up with these whack ass lames.

To be so I think would warrant different policies. Personally my CPTSD AND TRAUMA were made worse with the pressure and threats this office gives. First they pressure you to make appointments, don't listen to your schedule needs. In my last visit Dr. Dickerson was 20 minutes late for my appointment and then I was treated like there not being enough time to fix my tooth correctly was my fault. I originally was serviced at the Cherry Creek location since I lived close by. I then moved east and went to the Aurora location. Every single time I had gone there over the last few years I have had a different dentist. The team members must be playing a game of musical chairs because I do not see the same people working there when I go to get a cleaning/check-up. On my most recent visit x-rays were taken by the dental assistant, an x-ray body shield was not put on me to protect me. Not sure if that is a new process or protecting me was ignored. I feel that Just U Dental has too many shortcuts. My insurance recently changed and I was not asked about the change to update. Instead I was asked to pay out of pocket repeatedly by one of the doctors. That was the final straw that broke the camels back. I have no intention of going back and am looking for a new dental facility. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it is conveniently located for me.

My issue is entirely with the front office and billing process. At my first appointment, the office couldn't verify my dental insurance because they were using the wrong insurance portal. I ended up spending a significant portion of my appointment on the phone with United Concordia, walking the office staff through how to verify my coverage. Because of the delay, they only had time to complete the exam, and I had to schedule a second appointment for my cleaning. Later, I received another call saying my referral only covered a limited exam, but they had scheduled and performed a comprehensive exam instead. I provided my referral before the appointment and again when I checked in. If the referral didn't authorize the services they planned to perform, that should have been identified before my appointment, not after the services were completed. Now I'm being told I may be responsible for charges if the referral isn't updated, even though this was something the office could have addressed beforehand. To make matters more frustrating, I contacted United Concordia and learned they hadn't even submitted the claim yet, despite telling me there could be issues with coverage. When I asked to speak with an office manager to resolve my concerns, I was told they don't have one. The clinical care was excellent, which is why I'm not giving one star. However, the front office's handling of insurance, referrals, and billing created unnecessary stress and multiple extra phone calls. I hope they improve their administrative processes because the providers themselves deserve a much better support team.
