So if you show up at the Roseville store b/c of an advertised sale email & find out you were mislead. You're not the only one. Usually, I get home & find out that only after I went did they JUST send out a specific email for the Roseville store (& only that store). Usually their El Dorado (not EDH) store's sale starts on Thursday b/c they're closed on one of the weekend days. The El Dorado Hills store's sale starts on Friday, & the Roseville store's sale stars on Saturday. But it's a good idea to call ahead to avoid wasting time & gas money.

Denise informed me she has owned Violets Are Blue for over twenty years which succinctly explains Denise's sharp, fashionista eyes . . . No wonder-Denise's impeccable, fabric examination reminded so well working with Colleen Atwood who won four Oscars . . . The store looks small from the outside, but it's actually HUGE. All the employees were helpful and friendly. We felt welcomed inside. They have gorgeous boutique style clothes.... They sell Taos shoes too. Lots and lots of jewelry. I ended up buying like six pairs of their tiny earrings because they were so cute and unique. They have purses and scarves. I think it's the perfect place to find that one of a kind outfit or jewelry piece. They have a line of lotions and body products and I bought some of those too. The TJ Maxx in Placerville, CA, is one of my favorite places to shop. Not every visit turns up insane bargains, but more often than not. The majority of staff are pretty helpful and the cashiers are a hoot. The merch is organized. If the shelves are in a disarray, chalk that up to the over zealous shoppers. The staff do their best to keep items neat n tidy as we all should. I see staff literally go down the aisles and tidy up and I've seen customers go tear it all up.
