We waited around 30 minutes in the very clean and calm lobby which has tinted windows to create a cozy but private setting. Marquise was our tattoo artist and he was so kind, very patient, and quick with a steady hand! He was able to knock two arm tattoos out in about an hour which was impressive. The quality is amazing, the line work is stunning, and the pricing was great. The front desk staff was so sweet and easily helped me get in on my one off day. I was placed with the super talented Brian Anthony for my tattoo. I went in to get writing on my thighs in Old English font. I showed him my reference photo and within a few minutes he came back with the perfect font, and we were off. He took his time and carefully made sure the writing was even since the writing is split over both of my legs. After a couple of reajuste he sat me down and started. Brian was so nice and he worked super quickly, he made me feel very comfortable and we shared several laughs throughout the process which is always a plus. This was a breakup tattoo for myself and I couldn't be happier with it. I talked with him about my other leg tattoos, because I know I'll be in such good hands and the product will be amazing. I've never had a problem with parking here :) This place continues to impress me with their cleanliness and professionalism. The shop is cleaner than a lot of salons I've been in every time I walk in. I'm always greeted at the front door, and promptly handled or acknowledged. The shop itself and its owners are very strict on covid-19 protocols - all employees are masked, there's hand sanitizer available, and they are super responsible when their employees are sick (i.e. if employees are sick appointments are promptly rescheduled for client and shop safety. ) This place is the bomb: they do body art, piercings, and medical tattooing. They even do scar retouching for things like surgeries and Areola tattoos for people affected by breast cancer. I've worked with Sara (@scaktats on instagram- all three times I've been here, as she does permanent makeup and now body art!) Can't recommend her enough. She is very professional and kind - easy to communicate with, understanding, and flexible. She walked my partner and I through the process of picking flash tattoos and even worked with us to combine two of them. My partner got a smoking skull with a rose with a black and gray stippled design and I got a melting skull ice cream. (If you've never had a flash tattoo before - the design is drawn up before hand by the artist and you're able to pick from the design. This is different from custom tattooing where an artist makes a design specifically for you). Call the shop or go to their website to schedule an appointment - all of the artists here have instagrams and booking procedures that they follow. I've only worked with Sara but have heard good things about the other artists and the owner! Anyway - Sara is great, the shop is sanitary and covid-19 responsible, and the work here is gorgeous. The girl at the front desk was extremely pleasant (both times I was there), which somehow helped calm my nervousness about meeting with the doc for my first tattoo removal. I met with Dr Kates, who was so cool and easy going, which again really helped me stay calmer than I wanted to feel. (The anticipation is the worst!) She explained the hows and whys of the procedure asked if I wanted to get to it right then and there, explained that it would take 15min *tops*, but unfortunately I had to come back another day. When I came back a few days later, same great, low key, this-is-no-big-deal experience and the process of lasering my tattoo away took so little time, I was floored. Honestly, I don't think I could have had a better experience. Also I have to say the fact that they offer discounts for tattoo removal for people joining the military is so awesome. And yes it is painful, but not more painful than actually getting tattooed on some of the more tender parts of the body!
