Walking into this place, I was pleasantly surprised by the cool decor. Photographs of adorable and goofy dogs hung on the walls, and it just reminded me of one of those really cool salons. The girl at the front desk was extremely pleasant (both times I was there), which somehow helped calm my nervousness about meeting with the doc for my first tattoo removal. I met with Dr Kates, who was so cool and easy going, which again really helped me stay calmer than I wanted to feel. (The anticipation is the worst!) She explained the hows and whys of the procedure asked if I wanted to get to it right then and there, explained that it would take 15min *tops*, but unfortunately I had to come back another day. When I came back a few days later, same great, low key, this-is-no-big-deal experience and the process of lasering my tattoo away took so little time, I was floored. Honestly, I don't think I could have had a better experience. Also I have to say the fact that they offer discounts for tattoo removal for people joining the military is so awesome. And yes it is painful, but not more painful than actually getting tattooed on some of the more tender parts of the body! read more
