Took our Ford Escape in to Fresno location flush oil from coolant area and radiator. After their three day inspection they advised us to replace the engine. Didn't feel quite right so we went elsewhere and got original job (engine flush) requested done for $500. This price included a few minor parts plus labor. Backyard mechanic got us straight. Car now runs perfectly. read more

Wow! This place was great as someone with mechanic/vehicle anxiety i dont trust no one with my vehicle i even do my own oil changes but my a/c hasn't been working for over two years and it got to me this past week with the hot weather. So i decided to show up to this place that was just around the corner from my house and ask if the could service it. As soon as i walked in i was greeted and i have over 15yrs of customer service experience so i always judge a place by the way they interact with me. The service was great asked me about my problems and what i wanted done. They explained everything in detail and were very open about the cost and length of time A+ . They did a full vehicle inspection and pointed out all my current vehicle problems and a detailed explanation which is a major plus in my book including pictures A++. My truck needed freon recovery since a different shop put in the wrong freon (explains my reasoning behind my over 2yr wait). Mannnn they got my a/c working by close of business and it is pumping JUICE!!!!!!! My truck was dropped off at 8 am by 4:40 i got a text that it was done. Mannnnnn i am so glad i trusted Chuy and his team to take care of my truck. I am definitely bringing it back so they can take care of my brakes. read more

A huge thank you to Kolben Auto Care! My AC amongst other items were not working, I called at 8:30 am and they were kind enough to take me in at 9 am. Luis was super helpful and very thorough in his explanation of how they would examine what needed to be done. At no point did he pressure me or try to force a service, he gave me estimate and kept me informed. The team at Kolben Autocare even dropped me off at home and cleaned my car up a bit when I picked it up. Even had a good laugh with Luis and Will. So far, I had a great experience and I'll update if the work done on my car is contrary to my experience! read more

I got my car serviced and general maintenance and upkeep on my car. They got parts same day and the repairs done. They not only did that but also took me to my physical therapy appointment while they worked on my car. Luis is super awesome and fun to chat with too. Their customer service can't be beat read more

Brought my car in after my AC stopped blowing cold air right when the weather started warming up! They were able to diagnose it and fix it! I had previously taken it to another shop the day before and they weren't able to figure it out.... Amazing team with convenient night drop off and easy pick up! They even washed my car! read more

We took our vehicle in for diagnosing possible transmission system failure. Communication by the mechanics we good. They provided feedback and photographs of mechanical failure. Upon completion of service, they discovered two additional "possible" failures which MAY be the reason for the vehicle unable to move into gear. The additional components and labor charges were more than expected. Unfortunately, we received the vehicle with a completely "dead battery" (jumpstart did not work). Representative, agreed to have the battery brought in, to have it charged. Update will be provided, after service provided. UPDATE: Clutch kit was utilized to repair transmission by mechanics at shop. Price quote for Clutch Slave Cylinder and Clutch Master Cylinder was between $900-$1000; parts and labor (five hours of work) for the additional work. Service manager did provide a minimal saving discount, if the additional work was conducted by his shop. We did the remainder of the repair ourselves. Service manager contacted my family and expressed his concern of the review. Battery replaced for a Delco battery versus an Interstate battery. Mechanic forgot to reconnect the alternator cable. Attention to detail is needed. Our vehicle is back on the road, with the shop's clutch kit warranty. read more

Took my wife's Escalade there for a front end alignment. Les Schwab's had quoted her "over" $1,200 in repairs before they said it could be aligned. A-plus did the alignment and saw no need for any of the repairs suggested by Les Schwab! Honest people. The Escalade runs and drives great. read more

I had a rude awaking this last time I took my car to this shop. They replaced a fuse and used two rolls of electric tape total $1760. This is the second time my car was in this shop for this same issue. I paid them $1200.00 last year to fix this same issue. While my car was in their possession the mileage app I use for my delivery gig recorded my car being driven at night and in different towns. As well as speeding talking on the phone while driving sudden braking action. My car also has damage to the passenger side that wasn't there. I am so disappointed. I trusted these guys I have taken my car to them for 3 years. I honestly feel I was taken advantage of because I'm a woman. It took my husband going down to the shop to get my car. What does that tell you? read more

A-Plus deserves a five star rating! This place is a gem! Our family dropped off our late model Nissan pickup with over 250,000 miles on the odometer for a general tuneup. My 83 year old mother mentioned that the truck also needed a smog inspection at this time. The team at A-Plus said they would take care of it. That being said, the shop team did just that, they performed the tuneup on the truck, and they drove it to a smog inspection station knowing that it would save our family time and effort. The A-Plus team took care of everything for our family! The team at A-Plus always provides excellent customer service with a smile, and they stand by their service with a shop guarantee. Needless to say, A-Plus has earned respect of our entire family, now having worked on two other family vehicles from outside of the area. Our entire family will be returning in the near future to get our cars serviced at A-Plus! Thank you A-Plus for being so friendly, and offering top notch customer service! ¡Muchísimas gracias! read more

First time visit and had a great experience. I had a little over an hour wait but wellworth it for what they had to do. Top notch business in my opinion. read more

The brakes on my camper van went out earlier this month while I was in Dinuba (I live in SC). They were able to check it for me that morning and fix them the same day. They showed me the problems before getting authorization to proceed, and even texted pictures of the repairs for my records. They charged a fair price, and everyone was very friendly throughout the process. It is a family business, and that clearly shows in how they operate. They even called over the next few days to make sure everything was working well as they knew I was traveling through mountainous areas. I doubt I will ever be back in Dinuba, but if I am I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Chuy was able to accommodate my busy schedule and perform a transmission flush within a day of my inquiry. Great work at reasonable price.

If you're buddies with these guys they'll do a decent job. If you're an average joe they'll take advantage of you. They cracked my radiator and it was obvious theyyyyy did it. Then wanted me to pay 600 bucks for a new one. Never again with these a hole jerk offs read more

I came in with my check engine light on, dropped the car off so they could check the car out and to my surprise they call me back an hour later (not the whole day like most shops) with their estimate which seemed reasonable so I approved the repairs. Car was ready right on time and that annoying "check engine" light stayed off, overall very satisfied with their work read more

Clean shop, honest guys and quality work. Complete satisfaction.

Great service and will definitely be back! Came in with issues on my truck and they diagnosed and fixed it right away. Gave me a quote up front before repairs so I knew everything that was going on before it was done. Great communication and customer service as well! read more

This is a very trustworthy automotive repair business. They had a major project with our tired family pickup, transmission for starters and several other surprise repairs along the way. No repairs outside the original service agreement were done until we were contacted and gave them authorization to do so. They offered fair quotes, clearly explained each problem and the final bill was right where we expected. This was our first time using A-Plus Automotive in Dinuba but most definitely not our last. Highly recommend them for all automotive needs. read more

Best Place in the valley By far! Went in with a transmission problem and got it fixed right away! Also, they Basically did a Catscan is what I call it :) on my truck they told me everything that I needed to service or change to prevent a very Costly repair and the best part is you can see all of the work they do and all the stuff you need because they take pictures and post it on a link that they send you through a text it's basically a profile of your car or truck all at the tip of your fingers, the staff is awesome! Very nice and helpful and I love that the Business is Family oriented. I recommend A-plus Automotive 100%, your Vehicle will be in Good Hands. read more

Won't go anywhere else! I drive in from out of town to go here even after moving. They're courtesy, efficient, and honest. My first time coming here I double checked their recommendations and price quotes with a few other shops...they were the most straightforward and I never felt pressured into anything beyond exactly what I asked for. They have great coupons and prices for oil changes too. After every oil change, they do a courtesy inspection and email a list of the condition of different parts of your vehicle. Very helpful! They go out of their way to make sure you're well taken care of and their staff is friendly and hospitable. It's hard to find mechanics that aren't a pain to work with, relieved to have found them! Go here! read more
