I have chronic migraines. My daughter ordered some stuff for me today at 10am with a delivery time of 2-2.5 hours. After 3 hours, she called and they said another hour. After that hour was up she called again and they said another hour. SIX hours later, the delivery arrived. Because she placed the order for me, she was stuck in the house due to their miscalculation of delivery time. This isn't the first time we have had delivery from other dispensaries in the area, so it's not like we're new to this. I am on day 3 of a migraine and really needed the delivery to be what they said. I am okay with +1 hour on either end but this was ridiculous. read more

I have been a long time customer at Kolas dispensaries however I will be no longer spending my money there. I placed an online order today but was unable to purchase one of the 3 items i purchased due to the managers refusal to honor the price entered in "error". This is not the 1st time this has happened and this time I have proof. Before the manager took the item down I tooka screenshot. I could of at least been offered a different item or discount. Terrible place. I go to the mega store and this location. I've been going to Kolas for a loooinnngggggg time. First of all, the marketing, emails and deals they send out are all lies. They are a dishonest company and lies. I've heard these excuses: 1. Get early right when we open to get the deals. 2. Make sure you order it online and put in the notes you want the deal. 3. Call ahead of time and put in an order and tell us that you want the deal. For example 2 for $1 or buy 1 and get $1. 4. We ran out. 5. We don't get very many so we sold out. Reason for the one star is that I live about 40min away. Last time I came to buy some Gelato cartridges, they told me if I buy 2, I could get one more for a dollar. Ietioned that to the person (David Y.) helping me, asking if they had that promo anymore- he said no. We talked for a little more about the difference between live resin and distillate cartridges. I decided to get 2 cartridges since it's a far drive, and so I can see if I notice a difference. The 2 cartridges plus a dab tool cost $88 so I left an $11 tip for his helping me. THE FUXN ASSHO DIDNT TELL ME THAT IF I JUST WAITED UNTIL THE VERY NEXT DAY THEN THE PROMO THAT I INQUIRED ABOUT WOULDVE STARTED AGAIN and I could've gotten the third cartridge for a dollar. Was told there was a three hour wait. Noticed at 4:00pm I had not received confirmation of anything, checked my account and the order was never placed. Easily said I am livid. I have been a loyal customer of Kolas Blumefeld for a few years now. I spend $100 - 160 each visit 3-4 times per month. In general, the customer service is very good. However, tonight reminded me of their systemic challenges. I was told by a security guard that I couldn't enter the building even though I was there at 8:52 before they closed. He claimed that they stop sales at 8:50 because Kolas could get fined for a transaction after 9pm. That is bullsh*t. I searched quite a bit but found nothing confirming it's California law. I've been at other dispensaries and they have done sales well after closing time. If this is actually a thing, they need to display it on their website. The main reason why I pay more to go to a dispensary vs. a dope man is predictability. I'm of the age where I spent too many years dealing with dealers who didn't really care how fast they got back to you and didn't have official business hours. I pay more to avoid that. And bullsh*t policies. Once, I was told I must park in a Handicapped spot, which is illegal. When I said something to management, they acted as if it was no big deal. Too many spots are made available for pickup, so they end up scolding people who are just trying to find a spot in the tiny parking lot for walk-in sales. If Kolas Blumefeld wants to keep a loyal customer, let's do 15% off my next order. Not asking much given the service failure tonight. Otherwise, I'm scouting out a new place. read more

So this was my first time coming and it wasn't busy at all. It was myself and another customer, which I noticed the two salesmen were quite fond of her (no biggie). But I literally waited almost 10min for someone to come help me bc these guys were preoccupied with this lovely looking lady. I still wasn't tripping cause I get it, so I was told it's your first time be sure to tell the budtender so that you may buy a preroll for a penny. I bought my pack of pre-rolls I came for and mentioned the preroll for a penny. Budtender was like sure didn't ask me which one or anything and proceeded to ring me up. I assumed that you guys set asides prerolls for first timers. Got home and no penny preroll I was super annoyed considering the situation. It's a bad look in my opinion. This was my second experience with Kolas. I ordered three cartridges from Kolas. The driver was great and was here pretty timely. In trying one of the carts I bought (Platinum Gorilla Crack), it did not work; no vapor came out. I reached out to their customer service and was told I could speak to a manger at one of their stores, if I visited. The store is downtown and I live in Roseville. I had it delivered because I don't have time to drive downtown. I was told all sales are final and she could speak to her manager to maybe get partial credit. This location has ample parking. Once Inside, things are neatly and clearly displayed. I felt that staff could have been a bit more knowledgeable. Always had a good experience here until today, the blackberry soda they had on display wasn't the same brown snickelfritz they sold me. Their arrogant "assistant" manager was quick to say all sales are final instead instead of showing any concern for their false advertising of excellent product, then selling you something completely different(garbage). He didn't offer to take the different quality display flower off the shelf to show future customers the real disappointment they're in store for. Keep your ID out, as you will need it again to check in and hold your place in line. Waiting area very clean. When it's your turn you will then get your ID back and allowed access into the "buying room" where an employee is waiting to assist you. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and super helpful. Answered all your questions and gets you in and out with everything you need. You tell them what you're looking for and they get it for you and once you're all payed up will receive your merchandise. Not expired or anything. I just recently lost my DL and am waiting for a new one in the mail, when I explained to them I have a photo of my DL & ID on my phone, the DMV paper form of my DL and receipts to my ID FROM THE DMV she told me they cannot accept either and "unfortunately they will not let me in at alll" read more

From the perspective of a patient who has always been self-sufficient when it comes to medicinal supplies, and never really needed to rely on a dispensary for medications, but recently decided to go the "clone" route instead of starting from seed. Sitting in the expansive lobby with the weird archeological motif, I was wondering if this was one of those rip-off dispensary operations.....then the mysterious door opened..... I was immediately greeted by a warm and helpful staff and when I asked about the gardening side of things -- I was informed that the Alternative Medical Center supplies ALL clones for $10 apiece (Fridays only), a big savings off the normal $15 price tag. Did I mention that they ALL were super friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs. (Hmmmmm they work in a dispensary of medicinal substances, I guess that's a no-brainer). New members get a free gift -- no membership fees are charged. On a side note, I personally know other long-time satisfied customers of this medical center, and they all been very happy with the robust growth of the clones purchased from the AMC. read more

Good thing they are closed. But I am so frustrated that there is/was no one to report my treatment to except the police. I believe we need to police ourselves. Wish I knew why they closed and when. Here's what happened to me: 65 y/o woman-have smoked and been a pot activist over 40 yrs. Two days after I had cardiac surgery - pacemaker implant-went into AMC. very TRAUMATIC experience. Guard took my DRIVERS license to gain entrance-he never gave it back. I was told many times by different employees "we gave it back to you" "I specifically remember handing it to you" and variations on that. I emptied my wallet-all I brought in- NO license. I was treated as a hysterical old woman-didn't' know what i was talking about-told to calm down, etc. Come to find out-THE GUARD HAD IT IN HIS POCKET. He STOLE my drivers license, I was made to feel like i was a hysterical old woman & had lost it. It was all my fault. Needless to say I was in tears. Finally able to purchase I asked for RSO oil but was given VAPE OIL. So upset I didn't notice until I got home. I was publicly humiliated and reduced to tears due to the actions of several employees. Someone needs to know about abuse/ageism that is going on here. Seniors usage and support of cannabis has risen over 250%. We are a large market & will not be dismissed or treated badly. I need to report this. He stole my license and as a single elderly woman, that is really CREEPY. He had other licenses and a pocket full of 20's as well. read more

They do have a good variety, I'll give them that. I probably give them a higher rating if they would have done something for me in regards to a faulty product. Basically I was told to contact the company mediX directly about the problem. The cartridge would barely hit at all and when it did it it tasted burnt and terrible. I've emailed the company several times and had no response. Even twittered them and nothing. Definitely don't recommend that company for cartridges or vape oil. I also think this store should have done something for me in regards to the faulty product they carry. Alas though all I received was an apology and a suggestion on how I can use my oil. At least the oil wasn't wasted but that's not how I wanted to use it and I feel like they could have done more for me. read more
