Normally I'd give this place 3 stars for its taste and price. 12 pieces of small korean friend chicken for 20€ is a lot in my opinion. The taste is ok. I like the soy ginger more than the sweet sour. However the taste was overall ok. It misses the crunchyness and I had better korean fried chicken, maybe not in Berlin, but guten dag is for sure better. Why 1 star: 1) the service was absolute horrible. She is on her phone, is not attentive. We had to call her over and she reacted like "oh man ok fine". Every wish we had was denied (kimchi noodle soup without noddles, just the soup. She said no lol). We said korean fried chicken with no fries... she said no lol 2) not very customer friendly (see above) 3) we wanted the rest to go and she said we have to pay for a take away box. Like seriously lol!. We wanted to change the fries to sweet potato fries and she said "I have to charge you for the price of sweet potatoes" . That doesn't make sense at all. Sorry never again.

Omg I'm shooketh that I haven't left a review yet! This is my favorite KFC in berlin thus far. The super spicy is like a US-medium spicy which is already A LOT more spicy than the average European-super-spicy. Anyway, the staff is always super friendly (the speak English, German, Korean). I like the wasabi flavor as well, sweet chili is a bit too sweet. Also pro tip get the sweet potato fries.

Cinnamon ginger punch - pretty sweet but not bad

Portions are too much. But also prices are acceptable. Staff is so helpful. I will go to back again certainly.

I stopped in with a friend after lunch to warm up with a chai latte - I noticed that many of the cafes in Berlin only offered oat milk as a non-dairy option which is delicious but also a bit heavy for me. Nonetheless, the chai was delicious! My friend also tried the peach beer and loved it. I wish I'd made it back here a second time because the craft brew list by BRLO looked so good and interesting. The vibe here is perfect - a little industrial but with homey touches such as plants and shelves of books. The outside space looked super cute as well, but it was chilly so I didn't get to experience it. For those looking to play games, they have shuffleboard in the basement!

I only had one drink here (a blueberry saison) but likely could've stayed for hours. They had hooks, free wifi, and ample seating. I didn't get to talk to the bartenders but they seemed nice enough as well. Kaschk also serves as a coffee bar...an interesting combo that makes perfect sense! Prices are a bit hefty (my saison was like 9 euro) but also they're imported so it makes sense. I was glad to see Victory in stock. Apparently they just took over all of Europe. I see them EVERYWHERE. Totally didn't expect that. But anyway, yeah, visit this bar if you have the time.

The warm waitstaff and barkeeps made us feel right at home. Regarding delicious beers, I ordered the Dunkel and my husband ordered a Pilsner. My Dunkel was delicious and STRONG.......I will leave this part for the end of the review. My husband enjoyed his pilsner. This is one of those places that is like a Keller type setting since you are a bit underground like in a grotto. You can easily visit with folks at the tables next to you if they seem open to it. We visited with an interesting couple from New Zealand and it just made the evening even more idyllic. We ordered the bavarian veal sausage with fresh pretzel and sweet mustard, the fraconian grilled sausages with homemade sauerkraut, and the black lentil salad with celery. When I say every single thing I ate was perfection......I mean it. It fulfilled my dreams of eating actual German food in Germany! I have already searched AI and Pinterest for a dupe of that salad. It was so refreshing and delicious with a nice vinegary bite to cut the richness of the sausages. The veal sausage was my favorite with the most amazing delicate flavor. Hey there, restaurant/brewhouse with the longest name ever......we will meet again. I think I might have been saying something similar as my husband sweetly guided my weaving self down the sidewalk after that strong Dunkel!

The restaurant is very small and quaint. It is definitely a spot for locals that we were fortunate enough to have been led to. It is the German equivalent of a tapas bar. After some deliberation, we turned the menus back over to our hostess (who I also believe was a co-owner of the restaurant) and simply asked if they would bring out a couple of each item on the sampler menu and a few of the five or six main entrées that we wanted to try. That begin about an hour of culinary experience not to be forgotten. There is no better way to experience German cuisine! Each of the menu items was wonderful and different and it's own unique way. We tried six or seven different types of sausage a variety of pickled vegetables, regional cheeses and other delicacies all served with a variety of great homemade bread. Although absolutely stuffed, we couldn't resist dessert, so we did the same thing, ordered one of each and shared everything. Portion sizes are small, as you would expect from a tapas bar, the the food quality was exceptional! The prices were reasonable and the environment was great.

He found one in fact, that's so satisfactory, and even more fantastic that they have a Barrel Aged one for only €10. (this is easily $16 in San Francisco!) I had two of these and was about to order a third one when someone (blame my husband) decided it was time to go home :( okay, okay. He had a legit reason, we had a 8am flight the next day. That didn't stop the crew from ordering multiple rounds of brewski, from IPAs to classic witbier or just ask the staff for the current specials and they can recommend something to your liking. Centrally located in Prenzlauer berg, this is a fun and relaxing place to hang out. The group was in a bitter sweet mood as it always goes on our last night in Berlin since we only see them twice a year. No doubt, I will be back to Salt n Bone. Especially since the menu is unapologetically American and in the land of currywurst and doner kebabs, that's definitely a good thing.
