Iced matcha latte & Mango tea
    Kelly M.

Kokee Tea offers delicious drinks! The Mango Tea is refreshing and full of flavor, and the Iced Matcha Latte is smooth and creamy. Highly recommend trying them!

I came across Kokee while shopping at Lenox Mall. I was drawn to the vendor because the drinks looked vibrant and delicious on the menu. I tried one of their signature drinks: Lychee Virgin Mojito. The portion was great for the price ($6), but it tasted bitter. I personally wouldn't recommend this beverage, but I would definitely give this place another try since their menu is vast and staff is nice.

Bright, open atmosphere. Tons of Milk tea choices and non tea drinks. Even offering slushy options. A dessert case host a variety of macaroons that are colorful and a sweet companion to your beverage. This location is in Cumberland mall. I ordered a Strawberry Milk Tea and Strawberry Boba. It was refreshing and I love how the Strawberry Boba burst with Strawberry flavored juice! I'd definitely visit again. Oh and the give you a punch card to receive free drinks. I wish it was digital since I may lose this card before I go again.

Best flavor I've ever tasted - Rose jasmine tea (caffeine free) with half sugar and light ice.

Great service and no wait! Convenient if already in the mall. I've been to a lot of boba stores in and around town. As a foodie Realtor I get around, in a good way . With that said, this Rose jasmine tea is the best I've ever had. (Drake voice)!

The owner/manager warned me that they had just mopped the floor and to be careful... super sweet! I was going back and forth about what to get and almost got a drink with matcha, but she was very transparent about their matcha being back-ordered straight from Japan so it wasn't available. I was a little sad but honestly glad to hear that they go out of their way to get the good stuff. Ended up getting the Taiwan Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Aloe jelly, least amount of sugar. It did run me about $9-$10 with tip but it was *chef's kiss* perfectionnnn. So good. The smiling faces and pleasant conversation made it even better, and makes Nobi Cha standout from the deadpan service I've received from other tea spots. They have board games for folks spending time in the shop with friends and family. It was also super clean, which was truly the icing on the cake.

On the other side, I'm not sure it was worth it especially with all of the absolutely incredible bubble tea spots around ATL. First red flag: they couldn't make the drink I originally wanted hot or with less sugar. I'm assuming this is due to their process, which most likely involves a whole lot of powders and pre-mixed things that aren't made in-house. There were a lot of mix-ups with the ordering process for just one drink, which I'd likely attribute to training. I begrudgingly went with the Taro milk tea. In all of the confusion with the first drink, I forgot to order it with less sugar and quite literally almost fell out from the sugar rush. To be fair, the cashier did not ask about any customizations (other than M or L) as I'm familiar with them regularly doing at bubble tea cafes. I had already left by the time I realized it, and I definitely won't make that mistake again. The taro was definitely pure powder... an unnatural, red-purple color. Unbearably sweet! Ugh. Oh, do yourself a favor and order extra boba. They said the milk teas automatically come with it, so I didn't bother to ask for more. But I could have probably counted on my hand the amount of tapioca pearls that were in that drink. I swear I'm not a person obsessed with huge portions, but it was just disgraceful and completely undermined the fact it was bubble tea! My drink was in a hot cup which isn't transparent, so I didn't know there was barely any in there until I unexpectedly ate them all on the fifth sip (of a LARGE drink, by the way). Probably won't return unless I'm desperate for a tapioca pearl fix and don't feel like driving farther. Bubble Tea is in the name people! You'd think it'd be better quality. Cute interior though. No pictures were taken for the drink unfortunately -- I was lowkey frustrated with my visit and it was too cold outside at the time. Didn't even bother.

This black tea was full-bodied: rich, slightly malty and cocoa-y, perfectly sweet. I was nervous initially as I'd read this tea has minty notes, but I didn't notice this tbh. - Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea: Noted to be their top seller, this green tea was light and pleasantly floral with minimal sweetness. It grew on me the more I drank, but was overshadowed by how much we liked the previous tea haha. The boba pearls themselves were nicely chewy, no notes. Ambiance is more of a grab-n-go vibe, there are some benches to sit on while waiting for your drink. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!

In case you are a boba tea fan and still don't know, the origin of bubble tea is Taiwan. This specific shop is labeled as Atlanta, which is still ITP but this shop is in the Doraville Hmart Plaza. If you are looking for any atmosphere and vibes, it's not going to happen here. This shop is set up for pandemic with bullet proof glass and isolated waiting area. Tea is straight forward fruit teas and milk teas, and they taste like old fashioned Taiwanese tea stalls. No frills, and no trendy teas. Just consistent teas. Service is friendly enough, but it's beat to know what you want from the exterior menu window poster before walking in, so you don't hold up the line. Drinks here are not too sweet, so if ordering a citrus tea, order at least 70% sweet (otherwise it will be too sour).

When you walk in, you're just hit with amazing scents of street foods (I know the scent since I grew up with it) and it smells delicious!!! However much I want to try some of the food options, full from lunch, I went to the kiosk to order my tea. So much option and I went with one of my favorites from any boba tea place that I go to, the Crème Brûlée boba latte. The kiosk is easy to use and very self explanatory, as I was checking out, the kiosk automatically added a 10% tip to the total. So if you're not one to tip, don't forget to change it. (No judgement here, just putting the information out there) I opted to add additional toppings to my drink, the custard pudding (my absolute favorite). My total came out to almost $10. I almost cancel my order and walked out, but I figure I give it a try. My comparison on this particular tea is to my go to at Sweet Hut's Crème Brûlée milk tea. This is how I normally order my tea, 100% sweet, less ice, boba, and custard pudding. My tea today... the sweetness level is definitely there, the crème brûlée flavor is on point, the boba is nicely al denté (sometimes they can either be overly mushy or undercooked), the tea flavor isn't really there and I wish I tasted the tea more (but maybe there is no tea in this drink, just milk), the custard pudding is a bit gelatinous to my liking, it isn't as smooth as the custard puddings I had at other places or growing up. I also wasn't able to choose a size, so it's only 1 size, and it doesn't say how many ounces it is. Overall, I don't think it's worth $10 for this drink. Probably will go back to try a simple milk tea (which they have a notice saying, boba isn't included and must be added when ordering), and perhaps a street food since it smelled delicious.

I guess I must've written it off due to the parking situation, and I honestly would've never visited, but a friend suggested coming here, so here I am. It's very, very limited parking. I'm not sure if we're *allowed* to park in the nearby parking lots, and I didn't have to, but if there's only like 6 spaces with barely enough space for cars to pass through entering and exiting... idk, it's not for me, esp when Doraville can get v traffick-y and the turn lanes are just waiting. Interior wise, it's cute. It tries to invoke a sense of Japanese aesthetic with the shoji panels, all the wood and light, the fake flowers, and I don't hate it. It's a fine place to sit and chat, though I feel bad for others who want to visit because again, the parking here sucks. I got their black sesame latte float with a matcha and sakura (seasonal flavor) swirl. The sakura was sweeter than anticipated and not floral, which was a bit disappointing since I didn't like it alone or mixing with the matcha flavor. The black sesame portion was fine. I was pleased. I really like how they thinly slice the pork belly too, really bringing out the seared edges & fat. I always get the poke bowls too; you may 1 flat price based on how many proteins, and practically unlimited toppings. Always fresh and made in front of you. The bubble tea: they brew the teas, you just need to ask them which ones are brewed but I've always gone with either the Taichi original or Taichi green tea or the jasmine one. I like to get zero sugar and just get boba balls which are slightly sweetened. If you're Asian, that might hit the spot for you. 25-30% sweet is also available and that's not bad too. Lastly; this store has good seating options; there's a big section in front of the registers, and there's also a more private section on the other side. To date it never seems overly crowded or populated inside (surprisingly, considering the food is so good and consistent) ....so I'm usually able to eat in peace & quiet. Oh yea, they also have CUTE decor inside. There's random stuffed animals around the place. I really like this place and it's probably one of the places I actually go to "regularly" due to a very good intersection of healthy-food quality, price-value, and quantity.
